Spicy chicken bulgogi bibimbap with fried egg and yummy sauce

Amazing food. I haven't had delicious bibimbap in forever, but this restaurant knocked it out of the park. The cashier was very friendly and helpful. I knew what I wanted going in, but she asked me anyway if it was my first time and if I wanted her to go over the menu. She also mentioned that although the ramen is made with pork broth, it can be substituted for vegan broth. She also brought out complimentary orange slices for everyone in the restaurant. The ambience is very casual. The place is clean, but small. Don't expect anything fancy, but it's almost a direct correlation that the less gaudy a restaurant is, the better the food quality. Would recommend!

You walk in to a small seating area and greeted by a bright smile and large hello. The menu is great and lunch specials come with a miso soup and a can of soda. The miso soup was hot and tasty. I ordered the lunch chicken bibimbap with an egg in the hot pot. It came out steaming which meant it was freshly hot and the soy lemon sauce that I added definitely gave it a great taste. A little more sauce would be appreciated cause it ate a little dry but again that is probably just my preference. A little hint - eat it slow because it is extremely hot. Overall what a tasty lunch and a good little hidden gem to come to if you are in the area. I will def be back to try another one of the authentic dishes. Yummy!!

I chose, I mixed. Ok i didnt get bibimbap so i didnt mix... but i chose wisely when I came to Choose & Mix Korean Food and Hibachi express. The spicy chicken bulgogi is very good. Its more like a dry spice rather than saucy fyi. The steamed dumplings are delicious. Staff is amazing. Vibe is fast casual. Recommended. Someone said this is the only place for Korean food in Worcester? Is this true??

Stopped by Choose and Mix Habachi Express for lunch on a whim and was very impressed and super filling. Great building our own bowl option. I went with the spicy chicken with all veggies Korean hot sauce/teriyaki dipping sauce and a fried egg. Ambience is casual and has a chill vibe. Kpop playing in the background. Meal also comes with miso soup appetizer - great flavor and comes fresh and hot! Customer service is superb- food arrived to table 10-15 minutes, friendly greeting and server was very friendly and approachable. I commended how good the miso soup was and how their stone bowl gets very hot so everything was very crispy. Overall, it was a great lunch meal. Would recommend 10/10- for all three categories.

I've been here twice and got the exact same thing both times, their BIBIMBAP (Build Your Own Bowl). They do have indoor seating that I ate at and saw a family order their hibachi and it looked and smelt amazing. I definitely want to try that next time. They do have a small parking lot. You can order online, which is super easy.

Decided to give this place a try because we're limited on options being vegan. I will say I was excited to see I could get Bibimbap vegan. It was a little underwhelming when I picked it up. Not very flavorful and they use frozen veggies. I'm giving them three stars because it was open and they had something vegan when I was starving. I think if they seasoned the tofu and fried it better and added even a few fresh veggies it would taste so much better and be worth the 16.00 I paid for the bowl. Idk if I'll go back but at least there's a vegan option.

Food is very good. I had the BI Bim Bap bowl. My wife had the Bi Bim Bap in the hot pot. Both are good. The hot pot cooks the rice giving a different flavor. Sister in law had the dumpling soup and was very complimentary. The service is also good. Not table side waiter service. You order up front and the staff bring food to the table. The staff is excellent. Very friendly and pleasant. The restaurant itself is spartan, but don't let that be a factor. Very Pleasant friendly setting. Try it, you'll like. read more

I had the Choose and Mix for my lunch today. Brown rice, tons of fresh veggies, chicken, and teriyaki sauce. It's comes with a drink and miso soup for $9.41. TASTED AMAZING! It's hard to find healthy and delicious food options. The menu is small, but hearty. You pick out your bowl and then they cook it in the back. You can also get a hot stone bowl for your order too. Love this place! Their lunch special is an amazing deal for a bunch of delish food! For 9.41$ you can get bimbimbap, miso soup, and a drink! I haven eaten in once before and I definitely recommend the upgrade to a stone bowl; the crispiness of the rice makes the whole meal even better, and who can forget the fried egg! The steamed dumplings are amazing too! Everyone who works there is super nice and I love how they say "See you tomorrow" every time you leave. Great for sit-in or takeout! read more

delicious! Let's get my negative criticism out of the way: both times I've been, I thought the chicken was overcooked and very dry - but, here's the thing: I'll be back again! The miso soup - yum! The fried dumplings were delicious. I had the rice in the stone bowl. Love how the rice got carmelized in the bottom. Love how it keeps the dish hot, hot, hot! They let you sample the sauces so you get just what you'd like. I even mixed two- again, delicious! I'll try again in hopes that the chicken will be less dry. Overall, I think this is a great place! Stopped here for dinner on a whim with my 8 year old. They were super helpful as it was our first time. My son was skeptical as he is slow to try new things. It was great! I got the spicy chicken bowl with noodles, fresh veggies, and a fried egg with lemon soy sauce. So yummy. I love how you can try all the sauces before you choose. My son is raving about the beef. He refused any sauce as he's not one to adventure but he still thout it was "delishious" and the meat was nice and soft. read more

The staff that helped us here was so bubbly and kind. I'm pretty sure she can outdo any Chick-Fil-A worker south of Dixie with her positive energy! She takes the time to explain everything to you. It was SUPER clean inside and the food was surprisingly but pleasantly fabulous! It's great to have a Korean style place back in Worcester. If you have never had bibimbap/ galbi before you definitely must stop in and try it in a hot stone bowl with the traditional gochujang paste! read more

Place is pretty cool pick and choose what you want pretty fast professional staff clean environment great music food was okay I was a little confused with the concept of choosing mix kind of like build your own Burger I'm a meat and potato guy the only reason why I gave a 4-star is because of the parking situation and the long wait the parking they can't do anything about but the wait was an hour and a half on a Friday evening very accommodating though I'll be trying this place again pretty sure they'll get five stars read more

The service was great and the food was delicious. Kimchi was homemade as well and unlike most kimchi store bought it wasn't extremely spicy. it was just right. Definitley recommend. I Love the food.. very fresh and delicious!!! My favorite are Spicy pork and Galbi. Very recommended!!! And the staff very nice and friendly. Great place! Went in for the first time last week. The very nice girl working the counter explained the menu to me and let me try all of the sauces. Unfortunately, upon arrival, we were informed that our reservation had not been written down. They were ultimately able to accommodate us, but it immediately made us feel a bit unwelcome, especially considering we specifically reserved ahead of time so the restaurant could properly prepare and staff for a larger party. Once seated, the experience continued downhill. Our waitress appeared visibly frustrated or unhappy from the start, though I can't say for certain whether it was because of our party size. One of the first things we asked was whether the AC was working, since it was over 90 degrees that day, and we were informed that it was not functioning. While uncomfortable, we tried not to let it ruin the evening because this was my graduation celebration and we simply wanted to enjoy the meal together. Service throughout the night was extremely poor. The waitress only took half of the table's drink order initially, disappeared for around 10 minutes, then returned to finish taking the rest. The same delays happened again when taking food orders. After our orders were placed, she barely checked on our table at all. We repeatedly needed napkins, drink refills, and general assistance, but had difficulty getting her attention while she stood near the register on her phone for extended periods of time. As the restaurant became busier after 5 PM, we couldn't help but notice that other guests were being greeted, seated, and attended to much more promptly while our table of 10 felt forgotten and neglected for most of the evening. I understand larger parties can require more coordination and patience, and we were understanding about longer food wait times. However, basic attentiveness and hospitality were missing entirely. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this restaurant for larger parties and hope the wait staff receives additional customer service training moving forward.

My son's plate was accidentally thrown away because other plates were stacked on top of it. When I asked about it, the server explained what happened but did not offer to remake it, remove it from the bill, or apologize, which was disappointing. That said, it was a busy Friday during Restaurant Week, so I would consider coming back and hope the service is smoother next time. While writing this review, I actually received a text from the restaurant letting me know we left our son's plate behind, which was thoughtful and appreciated. If Yelp allowed half stars, I would give 3.5.

I absolutely love this place! There aren't many locations unfortunately, but the 20 minute drive is worth it. You start by choosing your base- white rice, brown rice, or sweet potato noodles (no sweet potato taste. Just clear glass noodles). Then you choose from the variety of vegetables. Next is your protein which is chicken, spicy chicken, or beef. Then they go in the back and prepare it. It takes about 5-10 minutes at most. The rice, noodles, and meats are already cooked so it doesn't take long at all. Finally they bring it out and you pick your sauce that they drizzle on top. My favorite is the soy lemon and teriyaki duo. A hot sauce is also an option. The bowl is not soaked in sauce for those of you sauce lovers. The amount they give you is enough to flavor and soak into the food. You can always ask for more sauce which is what I did this time. One bowl is enough for normal people. I, on the other hand always order two bowls because it is so delicious. I get one sweet potato noodle bowl and one fried rice bowl. For vegetables I get broccoli, zucchini, carrots, onions, and mushrooms. Then the soy lemon and teriyaki sauces. They have a new item on the menu which are these new Japanese Ramen. We went for the lunch Bi bim bap, which includes Miso soup and a drink and is the same amount of food and price as the dinner Bi bim bap. To begin, choose a brown or white rice or noodle base. Second, pick your vegetables. 3rd, add $1 to each of the following proteins: tofu, ham, spicy chicken, beef, or shrimp. 4th, decide on a sauce. You will be able to try one. After that, they'll barbecue your plate. For an additional $1, a hot stone bowl may be requested. Quite friendly, clean, and freshly cooked vegetables every morning. We decided to hit his place up after seeing the great reviews on Yelp, well I'm glad we did. The staff was incredibly friendly and eager to introduce their concept. The ingredients were very fresh and homemade except for the seaweed salad but no one makes that. The pickled daikon and kimchi taste amazing. The Bi Bim Bap was delicious and you can get the option of getting it in a hot stone bowl, so worth it. The fried beef dumplings had a crispy exterior with a soft inside, incredible filling, and sauce. The authentic Korean flavor is out of this world. I highly recommend this place, so good! read more

On a whim, my 8-year-old and I stopped here for dinner. Since it was our first time, they were incredibly supportive. My son, who is hesitant to try new stuff, was doubtful. It was fantastic! I ordered the spicy chicken cup, which came with noodles, fresh vegetables, and a fried egg topped with lemon soy sauce. So delicious. I like how you can sample all of the sauces before deciding.
