I'm glad there's a place offering a good variety of salads near me now. You can build your own salad, or select from a menu. The first time I went, I chose the build your own salad with half romaine lettuce/half organic quinoa, cucumbers, crispy onions, feta cheese, and salmon (additional charge). The second time, I ordered the Keto Chop from the menu (romaine lettuce, green olives, shaved parmesan, chicken, almonds, and bell peppers). I ordered the ranch dressing on the side. I enjoyed both salads, finding the ingredients to be fresh and the size to be more than good enough for a meal. I also really like their ranch dressing. Only thing stopping it from being 5 stars is the lack of chicken. Think they need to up the protein on a standard order or at least lower the price on 2x chicken. Salads are great but its a little crazy to pay so much for lettuce, minor toppings, and 100 calories of chicken (according to their website) which is about 2oz. I casually track my macros so I was curious and checked. I will be back but 2x the chicken next time. Would be back more often if the pricing was more attractive. I really love this salad place I have been coming here since it opened and honestly nothing beats it. I will have to say my only complaint is that they changed their beets! They used to be super fresh and soft and my favorite part of the salad. For some reason they are now extremely crunchy and hard (same exact texture as a carrot) but they still claim them to be "fresh beets". I order them every time thinking it will go back to the original ones and they aren't. Please check on the beets they aren't fresh and aren't supposed to be crunchy! Whereas I found the vegetables fresh and the dressings good tasting, which is a Big Deal, they failed on the most basic aspect of basic salad making - they shred the lettuce. They shred it like the lettuce you get on a taco. That's not how a salad is made. They need to chop the lettuce. Like the name says. As anyone who prepares salads would or should know, properly chopped lettuce allows for the even distribution of the dressing, as well as the other ingredients in the salad, the proper coating of the lettuce in the dressing. When you use shredded lettuce you get a mealy mouth feel, and a clumping together of ingredients. Shredded lettuce exposes too much surface area of the leaf, the results of which is not tasting the quality and balance and all the great effort of what should be a well made salad. You are tasting primarily the lettuce. A lettuce forward taste if you will. I suspect they shred the lettuce to save time, or perhaps it is a fashion choice, either way it's a failing. If you are going to be a salad shop, be a salad shop and pay attention to proper prep. Chop. And do note that a shredded romaine Caesar salad is an atrocity indeed. Regardless I think this place is great with room for improvement. It is a good and healthy meal option, and I will try other salads in the future. I just hope they learn basic, time honored prep in the future. Cheers! read more

I got the bbq salad and subbed the bbq chicken for tofu. I didn't realize the only bbq aspect in the salad was the chicken. It was still tasty though! My sister's Asian chicken salad had lots of edamame, chicken, and carrots with a tangy dressing. My mom's Cesar was flavorful and zesty. Overall they are very generous with the toppings and size. However I wish you could pick a small or large ad the one size they have is quite hefty. They also serve everything in plastic to-go containers, so it's a bit wasteful.
