I've been here twice now. I love the concept of chopped salads, and they have so many options to choose from! Unfortunately they all have meat, so you'll have to switch it out for tofu if you want. I got the bbq salad and subbed the bbq chicken for tofu. I didn't realize the only bbq aspect in the salad was the chicken. It was still tasty though! My sister's Asian chicken salad had lots of edamame, chicken, and carrots with a tangy dressing. My mom's Cesar was flavorful and zesty. Overall they are very generous with the toppings and size. However I wish you could pick a small or large ad the one size they have is quite hefty. They also serve everything in plastic to-go containers, so it's a bit wasteful. Chop Stop is clean, everyone is friendly, it's laid out extremely well, it's COVID-safe, the food is ridiculously fresh, and it's healthy. There is a downside - it takes FOREVER to decide what you want. They don't have anything to write down orders on, so you stand there and hem and haw and uhhhhhh and hmmmmm and it wastes time. That hurts their business, so they'll eventually figure it out and fix it. Can't say enough great things about them - they're amazing. Finely chopped salad with a laundry list of ingredients to choose from? "My oh my" says this avid Yelper. I decided to go CUSTOM on my first sniff of this place. I played the rewind button and went back to my memory bank of ingredients I liked when visiting the old Soup Plantation (now extinct in our hood). I chose the following: Romaine/kale; roasted corn; cucumber; avocado; celery; hard boiled egg; tuna salad; pepper jack; cilantro lime dressing RESULT = pure deliciousness and quite healthy I gradually added the dressing so as to not over-saturate it and that worked perfectly. I asked for extra (2 little to-go containers) and that was the perfect amount. I wasn't sure the kale/romaine combo would fly but the fact that these are finely chopped meant it was "all good in the neighborhood". The salad size is very nice for a dinner portion. The to-go container is nice and DEEP so you will not experience that BS at other restaurants where 1/4 of your salad ends up on the floor while you mix it up. Also, it appears to be already mixed for you anyway. My dad said the staff are friendly and polite. He had the ASIAN CHOP which he said was seriously tasty and he hammered it. Found through DoorDash searching for salads and decided on the quinoa/spinach base combo with beets, carrots, edamame, tofu, sunflower seeds, and croutons. I had set my expectations low, as it was just a salad and I was just trying to get a healthy meal. But Wow, I was impressed ! Not only were all the ingredients perfectly cut and mixed, but it was all so densely packed, I seriosuly feel like this salad can last me two days. I barely made a dent in it and feel full. It does remind me of the good old days of Souplantation, but without leaving feeling like you just ate three days' worth of food. I have been wanting to try Chop Stop for several months and finally went there today. I was SO impressed with the friendly cashier, who explained the process of ordering my salad. I ended up creating my own salad and it was delicious!! I had spinach and kale as the base and salmon with lots of other veggies added to it.
