Chop Stop on Durango is a salad spot with a variety of salads, build your own salad, wraps called "Chopaninis", bowls called "Chopurritos", Quesadillas, Chips and beverages. Recommended by a co-worker and it was a great recommendation for lunch. My first time here and I absolutely love that their greens are chopped and everything else is chopped that goes into your choice of salad or bowls. Because sometimes ain't gonna lie there's been times when in my salad experience I get big chunks and long chunks and I have to use a knife to cut them up. Friendly and quick service. Generous Portions for the Salad Bowls good for two people to share. Prices are reasonable. Clean dining area. On the menu: Build your own Salad Bowl - romaine lettuce, shaved Parmesan cheese, tofu, egg whites, sunflower seeds, carrots and celery with Cesar dressing. I had to order an extra Cesar dressing for the salad it was recommended by my co-worker. I'm glad I did. My salad was tasty. I liked it a lot. I would go back to try other items on the menu.

Fresh, delicious, and large salads! There's a big selection of menu crafted salads you can pick from, or you can also build your own bowl. The salads have a nice variety of veggies, proteins, and toppings to make it an interesting and tasty salad to eat. It would be difficult to make a salad like this at home without having to buy a bunch of ingredients. There's also a variety of wraps and burritos you can order. The one dressing cup included is a little small however. It's enough to lightly dress the entire bowl, so I'd recommend to purchase an extra for 53¢. We tried the Goddess Chop Salad and Poké Chop Salad. Both were 5/5. They had a good proportion of all the ingredients and the dressing was very tasty and paired nicely. Service was super friendly, and our salads were made in just a few minutes. They make the salads fresh when ordered. The inside is clean with a few tables to dine-in. I'll definitely be back and I'd recommend this place. Give them a try!

The beauty of Yelp search. I was trying to find salad spot for dinner. Friend had sensitive stomach and thinking hearty salad. I was surprise amount of places popped up. Thank u Yelp. Chop stop looked like great spot going through the pictures and right side of town. It small place not lot of spots if want dine in. Decor plain but nice. The menu most part all salads, burrito style wraps, and other stuff. Create your own salad as option. I ended up getting Santa Fe Salad. I did combo comes with bag of chips and soda. Honestly surprised but salad was amazing. Hearty, refreshing, chicken was delicious, and greens crispy and fresh. It looked great. If have urge for nice hearty and refreshing salad in life. Chip Stop place to fill that urge.

I ordered the poke salad from this location and unfortunately discovered an INSECT (cucumber beetle as Google helped me determine) mixed into my salad. It appeared to have been chopped during prep as only one leg looked to still be attached and its rear end was gone. This is a garden pest, which means it likely came in on unwashed produce and went through food handling. While I did receive care through Uber Eats (where I ordered from), this raises serious sanitary concerns. If a bug can make it through food prep, what else might be slipping through? I hope that management reviews their produce washing and inspection process right away to prevent future contamination. This is not just a cosmetic issue, it's a matter of food safety and sanitation. I've ordered from this location several times and usually love their salads, but this experience completely changed my confidence in their food safety.

I have been to this particular Chop Stop a handful of times. At first visit awhile back, being unfamiliar with the brand, I liked my salad, but nothing was blowing wind up my skirt on this place and I did not Yelp about it. I felt like it was like the Subway of salad joints. But I often find myself near the intersection of Warm Springs and Durango and am in need of something to pick up for lunch or dinner that I want to be healthy, green based and quick (quicker than Urth Cafe can afford me up the street in Uncommons). I have been continually returning to this Chop Stop because like Subway, this spot in consistent. Consistent on guaranteed fresh quality greens in my salad. Consistent in the variety of vegetable based options. Consistent in the quick pace in which this salad will be prepared so I can bolt out the door and head home. Consistent on the person behind the counter being welcoming, helpful and no frills about explaining something I might ask. Consistent in that I walk out with what I feel is a great value and a fresh salad. And as I go on and on about the Subway of salad, please know you can get all this consistency mentioned about on a sandwich or a wrap as well. Many many options for plant eaters and meat eaters who should eat more greens alike. So my apologies for not giving you a shout out earlier, but please know I am glad you are in my general hood and I will continue to return from time to time.

This was a pretty good and healthy dining experience. Ordering was easy on their website, and they have a ton of choices and customization options. I opted for the build your own chop with chicken and a variety of veggies including two kinds of olives and an Asian dressing. Everything was very tasty and fresh. It does get expensive, though, as you add toppings. I also would've liked an option to have everything tossed with the dressing rather than the dressing on the side, as it's hard to get the dressing distributed throughout otherwise. Definitely go for the pretzel stick with your meal. It's very tasty and soft. Overall, though, this was a tasty and healthy meal!

Pricey ($15) for a salmon salad at a takeout restaurant... But you did get your choice of ingredients. I decided to create my own salad instead of getting the restaurant's menu salad. My salad bowl came half full, which is another thing to think about in terms of value for your money. Overall, the place was clean and the staff are friendly. New salad joint in the Southwest. I've tried a couple. Asian Chop is my fav. You can build your own salad too. Most of the proteins seems to be packaged rather than cooked on site but the salad tasted pretty dang good. I'm gonna try some of the others here soon. Food was amazing. I don't eat meat, so I love that you can put together so many meatless salad combinations. I appreciate that this can be a healthy option, as well. Service is great. The cashier is patient while taking your order, and they fix any mistakes on served orders quickly. I do wish there were more seating options, though. My first visit was when a sports team was there, and there was nowhere to sit. To be fair, that's probably true at many places when sports teams stop by, but either way, seating is fairly limited due to it being a small shop. Maybe some bistro tables with shaded tops outside would help. I'd definitely go back, and bring my family and friends. read more

Very good salad and nice gal working there. My only issue is that they give a very small container of dressing for a large salad and then have a very large sign saying that they charge $0.53 for more dressing. Obviously, if you need that sign, you're not giving enough dressing in the first place. stop being so chintzy!!! read more

This place is grossly overpriced for very poor quality salads. Their salmon is cold and gross. Was it processed? It seemed that way to me. Their dressings are so average and they nickel and dime you for any extras, including extra dressing. This place is in an area where restaurants have kept changing every time because none of them seem to be good. How sad, because I was so excited to see a salad place, but this is anything but respectable. It's terrible. My money would have been better spent at Zupas and I'm never coming back to this dump again. Finally, and I hate to say it, but it also smells really badly in there. When I entered Chop Stop I was greeted right away by Bryanah and she asked if it was my first time at Chop Stop. I informed her it was my first time and she explained the menu to me and was very helpful. I went with the creating my own chop salad which included greens of your choice, 6 toppings (premium toppings were extra) and sauce. She gave me suggestions and I appreciated that. The service was pretty quick I got my salad in about 5mins. The salad was so good and it was a good portion size! Everything tasted fresh and I loved the toppings and sauces. Luckily I was right…read more It's fast casual and offers teriyaki bowls, and plates for larger appetites with a few different variations. I tried the chicken with vegetables. It also came with white rice that was cooked just right. I love how generous they are with the perfectly steamed vegetables. The chicken had good flavor and the only issue I had is they were stingy with the teriyaki sauce. Before leaving I opened my container and knew I'd need more sauce but they would only give me two tiny containers. I wish they would allow us to add our own sauce but it's guarded behind the counter. Why is sauce an issue at so many restaurants?

It seems like a smaller ran operation, may be a mom and pop shop and I'm not sure if they get high volume of customers but they got the job done. I ordered a small chicken bowl with veggies for $6.99 and it looked just as described. The veggies were freshly steamed and included broccoli, cabbage and thinly sliced carrots. The chicken had good flavor though I'm not a fan of cartilage or fatty pieces and my bowl had some of that so I was a bit turned off after. The bowl is served with white rice underneath and can be the perfect size for a smaller lunch for someone! They're open M - F and, as of March, temporarily closed on weekends. Healthy, quaint and quick spot, could be worth trying if you're nearby and want fresh made teriyaki bowls or plates!
