The food was good but you can get better poke bowls with more options for cheaper almost anywhere in the valley. A small poke bowl with one protein, seaweed, and masago was $16. It was really salty and nothing to write home about. Their only drink options are a few bottles and cans and dasani bottled water (the worst kind in my opinion). They also do not use compostable or eco friendly take out containers. Otherwise the food tasted pretty good and they have seating and it was clean inside. read more

A friend told me about this place but since I don't eat raw fish I was reluctant. I decided to go one day and I'm really glad I did! Not only do they have many special ingredients and traditional sushi but they also have cooked food such as California rolls, Similiar to dragon rolls and their Vegan rolls too! Each have their own unique name and descriptions of ingredients. It only took about 10 minutes or less for them to make my sushi burrito and it was huge! Enough to feed 2. Make sure you ask them to cut it in half. The venue itself isn't big and there's no dine in. You just go inside, order off the menu above you, watch them make it, pay and go. Very greedy I must say. I was hungry and excited that I drove by this place. I've tried the one on Sahara many times and loved it so much. Anyways, they ask if I want any sauces and I say "a few soy sauces and siracha please". She said "okay it's already in the bag". I always check my bags anywhere that I go. I've been here a handful of times and every time the staff is so pleasant and the food is fresh. I love the order ahead ability once yelp, too. Great for when I'm craving a Sushi burrito and don't want to wait. My favorite here is the angry tuna sushi burrito as I'm a big tuna fan. As far as price goes they are on the cheaper end for this side of town. Expect to pay about $13 for a sushi burrito if you don't add anything extra to it. Which included grilled salmon, cream cheese, pico de gallo, lettuce, furikake, chipotle mayo and teriyaki sauce and tempura crunch, wrapped in a flour tortilla. I've been coming here for years. I usually get a kind of California Roll in a bowl (my own name for it) with surimi crab, white rice, cucumber, corn, avocado, and wonton strips with eel sauce on the side. I had truly perfected my order to my liking. In the last 6 months or so, they've really gotten stingy with their ingredients, unfortunately. Smaller scoop for fish, smaller cups for sauces, and smaller avocado slices meaning that you have to pay extra to get back to a normal size bowl. I used to love this place, and it still tastes good, but it's hard to watch them get stingier, hire ruder staff, and turn their backs on loyal customers that have supported them over the years. Ah the good ol" poke bowl. Personally, I have always been a huge fan of poke bowls as they are a viable and budget friendly option if you are looking to devour some raw fish. Especially Soho, which has been my go to poke shop for sometime, the customization and quality quality is unmatched. Location wise, it is located right off of Jones and 215, making it very assessable for anyone living down here in the southwest part of town. The staff are always friendly and the interior is always kept clean. Keep in mind though, the speed in terms of making your order can be inconsistent as this largely depends on whoever is making your bowl/burrito. I almost always order a Build Your Own Bowl as you have the fullest autonomy to pick what you want and what you don't want. The bowl is served with a generous amount of rice of choice, protein and unlimited number of toppings. Personally I recommend sushi rice for that light taste of vinegar, salmon which is always tender and fresh, and tuna to balance out the fatty-ness of the salmon. I personally am not a fan of adding any sauces as it tends to overpower the bowl and protein flavors. I would love to go with absolutely no sauce, but they force you to at least add a bit of sea salt (not really sure why). For additional toppings, I always choose masago and red onions for that slight kick of spicy-ness and salty-ness. At the very end, I pick some sort of veggie (cucumber or seaweed salad) to give the entire bowl a final layer of refreshing taste. Really a solid option for anyone craving some seafood! The customization is also something that elevates your overall food experience. Definitely a must try! read more

Even though Soho Sushi Burrito is known for their sushi burritos, it is actually my favorite place for a poke bowl. I noticed that most poke places don't offer sushi rice as an option for the base and it makes me a little sad. I feel that raw fish goes exceptionally well with sushi rice and not plain rice. Prices are reasonable and the flavors are pretty good! I typically choose the option to make my own bowl so I can throw whatever I want in there. The only thing that I don't quite like here is that the fish is chopped pretty small. Other than that, definitely my go-to. read more

I don't know how, but they've gotten my fiancés order TWICE. We order these online, but these mistakes can't be the drivers fault whatsoever. The first time was the 3 amigos with seaweed paper; it came with soy paper but it wasn't a huge deal. This time, however, was COMPLETELY WRONG (see picture attached). We go to a game night in the area and Soho Sushi Burrito is a convenient place to grab some to-go. We've come quite a few times during the pandemic and kind of think of ourselves as regulars now. The menu and the food so far have been really good. I knew I liked Soho because there's one by my work and so far this location holds up just as nicely. We love to build our own burrito (unagi plus spicy tuna IS LIFE). The menu choices are awesome and I appreciate that you can really customize your meal. There is one glaring problem though. We usually do the whole add a side and drink thing but I don't see us doing that anymore. The last 4 times we've been in, there has been something wrong with the drinks. First time, they didn't have the tea for the boba we wanted. Second time, the didn't have boba. Third time, they said we didn't order a drink, even though it was circled on the receipt... Fourth (and last time), they didn't have boba (AGAIN!) and they didn't have calpico. They wrote on the receipt that they replaced it with aloe and put in the bag. I opened the bag there and there was no aloe. I have to be honest my bf won't drink that anyway so they were just going to not give me a drink but also not refund me. I don't like the feeling that I'm being swindled. Too much hassle, even for good food. read more

Mmmm. That was el Fuego! Yes I found a great sushi burrito joint near the casa. I ordered off Door Dash for pick-up and I had a pleasant experience. The only thing wrong was that I didn't get a notification through door dash when the order was done. Either way it was quick even at a busy time of the day. They had quite a bit of workers pumping out burrito after burrito. So you know they make fire meals. I got the yellowtail in a bowl with salmon and other goodies (see order receipt). It came out looking pretty darn scrumptious and tasted just as good. Order came packed with everything you might need, whether you're a gringo or you pack a samurai sword to cut that massive sushi burrito, they provide all the utensils and fixings. Also, they got my order completely right. This ain't no McDonald's drive thru! The workers were all very sweet so 10/10 all around.
