I've been wanting to try this spot for a long time since it's right around the corner from my house. I love salads so something easy such as this is perfect when I don't have time to make my own. Upon walking in, the man at the front greeted us and asked if we had ever been there before. He then proceeded to tell us how it worked. You can choose from one of the signature salads, a chopurrito (which is much like a rice bowl), or build your own. I decided to get the Greek Chop with balsamic vinaigrette. This salad was shockingly amazing! They chop all of the ingredients really small so you can easily eat it. I'm a shoveler so this is perfect for me haha. The ratio of the olives, tomatoes, cucumber, red onion, feta cheese, and bell peppers was perfect. I added chicken to it as well which was also perfectly mixed in. I love a chop salad, so I was super excited for this place to open in my neighborhood, but I wasn't super impressed. The portions were big and prices were pretty high. This is unfortunate because it definitely would have been 2 meals, but it got way too soggy the next day. Since it's mainly bowls, wraps and salad, the freshness of the ingredients is very important since salad is all premade / raw ingredients. Also the portion size is filling. I'm on a salad diet most of the time when I'm working out so I would like a nice filling salad for $10-$12, not a scoop of lettuce with some toppings. So this place gives me filling meal. First time I went for the chicken chop salad bowl. The dressing that I got on the side wasnt enough, so I suggest either getting it tossed in or order extra dressing on the side if you like your dressing. I got a bowl the second time. It was quite flavorful, I'd probably go for the salad next time though since the quantity of the salad was more than the bowl and it's the same price. The server was friendly -- and since this was our first visit -- kindly explained the ordering concept. I chose my own ingredients and built a salad of grilled salmon, black beans, house mix lettuce, cucumbers, tomatoes, peppers, avocado, wonton strips, and small amount of sesame teriyaki dressing. Added a bonus warm pretzel stick. I enjoy the "fast food"/"chain" aspect of a healthy meal. At it's core, this is still a bold business choice in the country that brought you the Big Mac. When you walk in, the place is a little small, but very clean. I was surprised on the selection to choose from. They have the packaged bowls, and wraps to choose from. If none of those combinations catches your eye, don't worry, you can build your own. A lot of different ingredients to choose from. That includes proteins and vegetables. My friend got a bowl, I got a grilled chicken wrap with Buffalo sauce and some veggies. My friends bowl packaging was spot on. The sauce in their respective containers, and packaged croutons all nicely fit on the top. Both were delicious. Lots of drink options to select from to round out your order. I was so hoping for a good experience, yet I feel let down by a 4.5 star rating that is truly any more than a 2! With all of the amazing experiences I have had with great food, especially when it comes to salads, people must really have low expectations! This place is such a disappointment! ...Why? Because the level of cost for the quality and product received is absolutely insulting. I would never come back here nor recommend it to anyone, especially when I can go to the regular grocery store and buy five dollars worth of cheap ingredients and make a better salad than they did today! Also, the level of up charging for small extras is completely disgusting, when the original product itself is already grossly overpriced. I ordered the salmon chop salad, but I ordered it with a salmon fillet, which cost me double the normal price of a regular serving of salmon, which is usually chopped. I was ok with that, until... the salad was mostly fresh chopped lettuce with a few simple chopped veggies, fried onion bits, and a cold roughly 4oz filet of salmon that tasted like it came out of a can, rather than fresh grilled salmon. We asked the person taking our order and they said the salmon is freshly grilled there, and I simply do not buy that, as it was jet cold salmon and tasted like it was processed... not fresh! I have never been served a cold hard fillet of salmon over salad ever before, and every other salad I've had has had fresh warm salmon served on top. This was simply awful, and I normally love salmon. Also, dressing size of balsamic around 2 tablespoons for larger salad, so too little. For around $16, a total rip off! My spouse also got the salmon chop salad with regular chopped salad, at a cost of about $13. She asked for ranch instead of balsamic, and was given a rough 2 tbsp serving for a large salad, not nearly enough to properly dressing a salad. They charged us 53 cents for an extra dressing!!!! I am still in disbelief... how 'nickel and dime the customer' is this place???? I can understand if she had gotten a larger and normal serving of dressing, but it was a very small serving, so this did not make sense to me. Although I paid that $.53, I did let them know I was a yelper and not impressed, and all of a sudden they come out with coupons for two dollars off per customer. I ended up throwing the coupons in the garbage, because I do not ever plan on coming back here again, and do not recommend it at all. There are way too many way better salad places with equal or cheaper prices. Overall, the only reason for two and not one star is that the service is friendly, even though I felt misinformed about the salmon. Overall, just nope! read more

General manager James is either a rude jerk, or on the autism spectrum (in which case I'm very sorry). Either way this guy has no business dealing with customers. No eye contact, brusk, zero effort put into hospitality or customer service. Off-putting. I wanted to hate on the food because it was expensive and simplistic, but it was actually pretty good tasting and fresh. I don't care though. Because the customer service experience was so rude I'm not coming back to spend $20 on a small salad and soda again. If that's who you're going to have manage your location, keep him in the back to schedule shifts or something. So my wife and I were looking for a really good salad place in Las Vegas. We found Chop Stop. Our very first one experience was amazing. Soon as we enter we were greeted my Meaghan who also asked if it were our first time. She gave my wife and I a very clear understanding of how everything works and we placed our order. Our order came to us within minutes of ordering. We took our salads home and enjoyed them so much we decided to go 2 day straight after that. Our last encounter my wife mistakenly asked for Roasted Garlic (which she is allergic to) instead of Roasted Corn. Unfortunately she broke out in hives and I contacted Chop Stop to mention there was a possible mix up and Garlic was added to my wife's salads. I also mention we had been order the exact same salads with the exact same ingredients all 3 encounters .The young lady that answered show much concerned and apologized for the mishap. I was placed on a brief hold and was told that I would be contacted by the Owner within 24hrs. Within I'd say an hr or so I got a call from Mr. Chris who happen to be the owner. We had a very respectful exchange and he mentioned he had audio of my wife ordering Roasted Garlic and invited us to the Shop to further discuss the situation. Before hanging up he also mentioned how apologetic he was and hope my wife is doing well (which I definitely appreciated) Next morning my wife and I drove to Chop Stop to meet with Mr. Chris in person and I must say I have never 1. Meet the owner of a franchise chain. 2. Had an adult conversation with no foul language no finger pointing and blaming and the ability to acknowledge people make mistakes. 3. Lastly treated my wife and I to lunch All in all just like before we had an amazing experience at Chop Stop and will always continue to support Mr. Chris and his Wife and their beautiful Franchise .
