First review of 2022!! Woohoo!! I was out running errands and needed a pitstop for lunch. I was feeling good and wanting something healthy so I decided I'd try the new CHOP5 near UCF. It's a pretty large location in the same plaza as Sus-HI Eatstation and Valkyrie Donuts. There used to be a Flippers Pizza in this corner spot before CHOP5. My first impression was they had a lot of outdoor seating with umbrellas and there were a couple occupied tables outside. Inside was empty aside from the staff busy at work prepping food. I was greeted at the counter and warned her it was my first time so I wasn't sure what I wanted, but as soon and I finished that sentence I saw a sign for their seasonal special which was the butternut squash and I didn't have to look any further than that. I'm a sucker for gourds, what can I say. My bowl was DELICIOUS!! I had a water with it, but they had a nice assortment of juices and lemonades in addition to the soft drinks. The portion size was not huge, but just enough for me to finish the whole thing without feeling stuffed or like I'd overeaten. The squash was delicious with the quinoa, kale, cranberries, creamy avocado (a half an avocado, pretty large serving of that IMO) and the the green sauce overtop added a great acidic tang that set the whole thing off. I will 100% be back and I hope this place sticks around longer than its predecessor because it's always nice to know there is a place you can get a quick AND healthy bite when you're out and about. I should also mention how many vegan and vegetarian options there were! Extra bonus points for that. Definitely check them out when you're in the area. That bowl was packed with flavor and healthy veggies. Yum, yum, yum!!

So when I lived in Manhattan there was this great salad bar just around the corner. They seriously had anything you could every dream of to put in a salad but I haven't quite run into something quite the same. Since moving to Florida, yes you can find salads. I came across this place by chance and I am so glad I did. Instead of building my own (which I soon will) I opted for one of my favorites, the Cobb. This salad was loaded with fresh tasty ingredients but very well balanced. I enjoyed it so much I brought one home for Niki and she agrees that this is one special salad bar.

Went with a work group to lunch today and ordered an Asian Chop with chicken. This is the only salad i've ever ordered here because it's usually been pretty good. . . up until now. Unfortunately, it didn't happen this way. When they made the salad all was going well until they grabbed the chicken to put on the salad and it looked almost reddish/orange - like it was HEAVILY seasoned - not the regular rotisserie chicken i'm used to. I thought maybe it was just 'me' and the lighting, but when i started eating it I realized it was NOT the same. Either they've changed their 'rotisserie' chicken and it's not good OR they chose the wrong chicken. The flavors of the salad and chicken did not mesh well at all to the point i barely touched it. Very disappointed.

I had heard about this place and wanted to check it out since "good" salad options seem more limited these days. Great concept - Sort of the build your own salad concept that reminded me of a Subway or Blaze Pizza. They have preselected salads that you can choose or build your own from the ground up. Staff is super helpful so if you are having them build a salad from the menu they will ask you about each item to be sure you get exactly what you want. Once prepared it gets cut into nice bite sized pieces and you can even have the dressing mixed in so everything is covered. Of course you can get it on the side but they do a great job mixing everything. There are premium ad ins and even some meats like chicken. Hot soup is also an option. The drink station was nice too with a selection of lemonades, Teas and fruit infused drinks. You would think it would not fill you up but each time I find myself too full to try one of their cookies. Order in, take out and they have tables outside to sit as well. I have been twice in a month and expect to continue.

First time here and the place is nice but unfortunately my salad was drenched in all dressings on the item I chose as I specifically asked for the smallest amount. The salad was overly saturated and I just had to toss it out and leave. Service was ok though and I always tip everywhere I go but this made me reconsider eating here again. I understand mistakes happen and with the help of their staff they refunded me back my money and gave me the opportunity to return to try their establishment again and with that great customer service I have no issues with that. I feel the experience will be a lot better and I'm looking forward to it. Thank you for your integrity.

We had the pleasure of previewing Chop5 before the grand opening and I'm very excited to say it is exactly what I've been waiting for in this area! When you first enter, you'll notice that the restaurant is bright and open with very cheery and minimalistic design. The staff is vibrant and genuinely excited to be there. They are all very helpful and eager to offer suggestions (speaking of, try the homemade lemonade. It's delicious and light!). We tried the Harvest and the Korean Chicken Chop. The Harvest was a perfect mix of savory and sweet. I recommend adding dried cranberries to it for an added element. The Korean was tangy and very filling. I'm extremely happy that this spot has opened just down the street from me. It was indeed worth the wait and I will definitely be a frequent visitor!

So I get salad from this location at least three times a week, it's delivered to my job so this reviews gonna be a little biased because I am getting the food for free, however, the fact that I keep ordering from this place and we have so many other places to choose from says a lot. Chop5 has the best salads I have ever tasted! You don't even need the dressing half the time! The chicken is so tasty, the vegetables are fresh, the croutons are always crunchy, and it's in reusable packaging. They always provide a fork, and the customer service is always top notch!

We were in the UCF Area for food and were looking forward for a healthier meal. Love the concept of preset options but then also create your own version. We both chose a preset: Mexican bowl and Cobb chop salad. They were detailed and custom with the experience, an assembly line process. There's also a handful of delicious lemonades!! Our favorite was the cotton candy lemonade.

Everything is so healthy and delicious. If they had a higher rating than 5 stars I would use it. Edit: I just found out that this place is a small business!! Even better. Very impressed.

My first time ordering. Nice portion sizes, many, many options, very reasonably priced & responsive. Only drawback is 3rd party delivery. Adds 20% to the tab. I ordered online & added some special instructions which were followed to the "T". I left something out, messaged the business directly & received a very quick reply. I didn't know salads could taste this good. I was very impressed. It packs a lot of flavor and I love that they chop everything and mix it. Most salad places I've been to don't chop the lettuce or add ins and it becomes a mess to eat. I also had the pink lemonade and I'm addicted. I highly recommend trying it. I have been coming here for a year or so since they opened. I have watched the salads, get smaller, and prices go up. The scoops of ingredients are very small. I ordered broccoli and literally they gave me one piece of broccoli. I don't mind spending 13 or more dollars on a salad, but they shouldn't skimp on the ingredients so much. And it always depends on who you've got serving you. The salad today, I ordered chicken, and there was barely a tablespoon of chicken. If they're going to scoop vegetables into the salad they should give you enough so that you can actually see them and taste them. I find the people very nice and the quality good but the prices are too high and the portions are too small. Use bigger scoops! Once i ordered the shrimp ($9) and they put four tiny shrimp on my salad. I asked them to start over because I wasn't going to pay $9 for an ounce of shrimp!! read more

Finally a good salad place has opened up by UCF. I was lucky to be one of the first few people to try it before it opened and just wow so darn good. I was greeted at the door by friendly staff. Everyone there was super nice and friendly. The salads you can either pick one of their signature salads or rice bowls. You can always create you own. Chipotle ranch dressing was amazing. Cool concept. I enjoy a chopped salad. Food was just ok and extremely over priced. I can get the same greek salad other places and not have to pay over $11.00 for it. The drinks are weird, only lemonades, teas, and water, nothing else. $55 for 4 salad and 4 drinks is a little ridiculous. Being new to the Orlando area I quickly realized the lack of solely salad places here compared to where I came from in Texas. I was excited to come across this place and the limited salad options near me warranted the 45 min drive each way. I had the Korean Chop salad and my other half had the Mexican bowl. We both agreed that everything was very flavorful but not "crave-worthy". I know this is a new place but I feel that the process for putting together the salads and bowls was tedious...no less than 5 people handled our order from start to finish. It seems as if the same person could have done the job in half the time. They advertised soups on the closed circuit TV screens but there were none on the menu or I would have tried one. I am not writing this place off as there are no options for this type of salad in the immediate UCF area. Hopefully, managers will read this and improve upon what they have. read more

Honestly, I hate giving reviews at all but I saw how many positive reviews there were and wanted to make sure people know its not worth it. I came here just to try something new. I was very disappointed by the lack of ingredients (such as cherry tomatoes) and how super stingy they were about the portions (even for croutons!). Not only that but the pricing was outrageous. The salad itself (base and 4 toppings) was $9. But I also added some salmon that was $7 upcharge. And keep in mind it was very cheap salmon and a very small portion. so my total was $17 for ONE salad. I am a college student and I am living on a budget and never have I ever had a lunch for that expensive anywhere even in college park. There is no reason that a salad should have costed near that amount. You can definitely get a better salad for half the price at Publix. I honestly don't know how people come to this place its a ripoff. Doesn't even deserve a 1 star! read more

The place, in it's essence, is basically a pizza joint. But it's no ordinary pizza joint as it's modern, sleek, and has a hip-vibe I have never gotten from any other pizza joint I've been to, to date. You order at the counter right inside the entrance and are warmly greeted and happily guided as it was our first time there. The menu is chock full of the mainstays you expect with a few surprises (for us it was mostly on the dessert side of things.) We ordered the Goat Pizza and each had a different dessert - the pizza was deep-dish (which I loved) and all the desserts we had, from a mint cheesecake, an almond flavored tiramisu-looking cake, to their galaxy cake - we shared and we all loved it. Service was super friendly, super attentive, and it was truly sincere - you just can't fake it. I normally don't talk about bathrooms at places I eat at, and I won't go into it in detail, but it was 'entertaining' to see the pics they had up on the wall in their bathroom. Anyway, a fabulous place - an incredible surprise - and I'm looking forward to our next trip back...

We got there on a Wednesday night around 5:30 and it was fairly steady, but there was still plenty of seating. They don't have many individual tables. A lot of their seating is open style seating so you could be at a table with multiple other people. They do have outdoor seating as well, but where the outdoor seating is located is also the side of sun sets on, so it definitely gets warm. I chose a pre-designed salad, the southwest salad. It's a mix of spring greens with corn kernels, black beans, tortilla strips, and a jalapeño avocado ranch dressing. I did opt to put chicken on mine so that does increase the price a little bit because you do have to pay for protein. Overall, the salad was really good very fresh and the chicken definitely tasted like it was cooked fresh as well. I will say the bathroom situation is a little odd as they are unisex bathrooms, but there are only two of them in the building. One of them each time I went up to try to use the restroom was consistently locked, so I'm not sure if it was out of order but it was locked each time I went up. On a busy day - having just two bathroom stalls seems like a design flaw. My biggest complaint is the parking situation. The small strip mall has not only this location but a coffee shop and a tea shop in it as well as a Pilates studio and the parking lot is just simply too small to support all of that business. I ended up parking on the side street because it was so much easier versus trying to fight to find a parking spot.
