Hardly any vegetables except leaves. Have been coming here for a year and it's slowly been going downhill. Always happens with these places. Won't be coming back. €7.00 for leaves, chicken, small bit of goats cheese, tiniest bit of tomato and sweet potatoes. I asked for tomatoes - she added 4 tiny pieces. I asked for sweet potatoes 4 tiny pieces. I asked for more - 2 extra pieces of each. I complained. Reason given - high staff turnover...

Chopped makes the cut as the best salad place in Dublin. Create your own from a veritable garden of options or pick one of the many House salads like Grilled Asian Spiced Chicken or Mediterranean Tuna. Outside the salad bowl, other healthy options include wraps, sandwiches, smoothies, juice, and fruit. The salad and modern decor (don't miss the light fixtures!) are cool and crisp, but the service is warm and friendly. The portions are generously-sized, but the space is small, so the food is takeaway only. At Chopped, you can find Ireland's 40 shades of green(s!) and a rainbow you can eat.

    Great idea !!

Chop it like it's hot !! Love the salads in chopped. Very fresh and so much choice. The portions are really big and I struggle to finish. They used to be very slow and there was always a massive Q but they seem to have worked that out and are much quicker now. My only complaint it they tend to "chop" the salad a little too much and if you take your eye off them you end up with coleslaw. The staff are super friendly and make it very easy to customise your salad.

These guys do basically sandwiches, salads, and wraps. They use fresh ingredients and although the menu seems simple, it's actually delicious. I have had lunch here a few times now and I must say the wraps are by far my favourite thing to get. They do a brilliant chicken Caesar wrap which is followed closely by their Greek wrap. They also cater so my office often orders lunch here, which is an added bonus.

    Great lunch selection

Im still waiting to try lunch here it looks amazing and my friends love this place, as I only pass by in the morning I often get the smoothies which are great value at 4e. Try the peanut one its delicious

The menu is a little overwhelming. .

The one on Abbey Street in Dublin is a no frilld but clean and pleasant restaurant. You have options on the size of your meal, ranging from a bit under ten euros to 13 or so. Meals are rice, dal, veggie curries and vegetables. It is not gourmet but it is nutritious and relatively cheap for dublin. Menu does vary s bit. Given that Irish food is very meat heavy, this is a good option and cheaper than most South Asian restaurants I saw. Central location makes it s great lunch option.

If you are vegetarian or vegan, this is fantastic food at a great price. The folks behind the counter give very generous servings, so honestly the small plate is more than adequate. It's a no-frills place, cafeteria style, rather than a place for table service. There is no set menu, they cook what is fresh, seasonal and available, and in the evening after 7pm, they stop cooking any more food and what's left is what's available. From the dinner items I had, the rice & yellow dal was fantastic, as was the turmeric potato bake. I didn't like the chickpea + spinach dish wax much, but that cause of a personal taste preference for creamed spinach rather than boiled, as was the case with this dish. They have takeaway containers (foil) which I availed myself of, as couldn't finish everything on my plate. Overall great food at a great price, so recommend! Yelp 119 / 2019

Usually, the dining room comprises an underground hideaway that is quite sleek and intimate. However, due to the lockdown measures, we had to do outdoor seating directly on William Street while we were there. The experience was still beautiful, thanks to the surrounding scenery. The cocktails were grand between the P61 Signature Cocktail and the Hugo -- both prosecco-based cocktails. The former was delicious between the peach puree and prosecco, while the latter was a little more tart with the elderflower cordial. For dinner, we kicked things off with gluten-free bread with a trio of dips that were quite tasty. The Tortellini I ordered was exquisite and scrumptious with how it was prepared between the goat cheese, asparagus, red onion, wilted spinach, cream sauce, and bacon. I applauded this lovely dish with the last bite. I devoured the warm almond flour brownie for dessert, served with chocolate sauce and gelato, which my wife could also enjoy since the dish was gluten-free. Overall, Platform 61 was a great way to conclude our second Irish journey. We will return, especially to enjoy the underground dining area.

Fortunately, it turned out there was ample to choose from, including Sova Vegan Butcher (a quick walk from our hotel, near the Iveagh Gardens). Sova Vegan Butcher is a slightly higher dining experience than most of what you'll find in Dublin. This doesn't mean that you need to get too dressy, but rather that the presentation is a higher game (and dishes are a little higher in cost). We made reservations when we first arrived on recommendation from a couple sources we looked into. Our last day in Dublin, we headed to the restaurant and were seated on the second floor. Their space is about average size for Dublin, and they were busy but with pretty regular turn over in tables. Seeing a caesar salad was available, I of course had to try that as one of our shared dishes. We also got the soya schnitzels, and the split pea soup for a starter. The soup was good, but about your standard flavor profile. However, the caesar salad was excellent. It had a really large portion of avocado, tempeh rounds, and a good rendition on the dressing. The soya schnitzels were quite good as well. They were served with a duchess potato and delicious tartare sauce. While we were quite full from all of this, we decided to treat ourselves to dessert (it being our last night out in Dublin). That night, the dessert was a cheesecake with strawberries and blueberries, served in a cute mason jar. It wasn't the best cheesecake I've had, but I appreciated the presentation that went into it. Would definitely recommend Sova for someone traveling through Dublin, especially if you're getting tired of some of the standard (burger-type) vegan fare you'll often find elsewhere.
