As we made our way through the buffet, I could feel the staff's collective telepathic chant: "Please... just leave." They weren't rude--just aggressively done with the day. If hustle were food temperature, everything would've been sizzling. But hey, I'll give credit where it's due: it was cheap, and the ice cream was cold and surprisingly good. In fact, the ice cream single-handedly earned the second star. Without it, this would've been a one-star review and a tragic sushi eulogy. If you're looking for a late-night buffet adventure, Ichiban delivers an experience that will make you question your life choices--but at least you'll save money doing it. It was good and the spice was open-your-sinuses hot (which I like) but I realized I should have gotten the fried rice dish instead. Lesson learned for me.
