We have had take out from here once or twice a month since moving to Edmonds. It's not great, but it's consistently decent and it's close. I had never reviewed them on YELP because it's average American style Chinese and not much else to say. We get take out because the decor is so old it's smelly and the staff isn't the friendliest. Today as we waited unusually long for our order to be ready our upper grade school aged child was quietly playing a math game on the iPhone 6 he got when I traded up to an 8 in December. The woman ringing up our order not only commented on what a nice phone our child had (none of her business) but asked if they were our only child (even less her business) and then stated "That's why they're spoiled." WTH? Thanks for the very unsolicited opinion, this is the last time your bland take out is on the menu at our house. Have to say I was pleasantly surprised at this Chinese restaurant. Met my husband for lunch. He had S/S pork, and I had Broccoli Beef. Both were very good, and large portions with nice fresh vegetables. Clean and staff was pleasant. We'll be back! read more

If you think pizza is Italian you might think Chopsticks is a Chinese restaurant. The extremely greasy, fatty, over-cooked, slimy food is covered in sickly sweet sauces and served in one big glop. Service is good. There's a bar in back where chronic drunks hang out and smoke, if that's your thing. read more

Recently visited for the first time and really enjoyed our meal. The service was geat and we enjoyed our food.

After waiting 45 minutes for our food I almost walked out as I was convinced they lost my order, which I am still pretty sure they did. The only good thing was the walnut prawns and that is what they get the 1 star for. Worst watery mu shu pork I have ever had and who waters down the plum sauce?? The curry chicken was terrible too. Next time we will drive the extra distance to T n T on Hwyy 99 or wait for Flying Dragon in Richmond Beach to reopen! Both are wonderful! read more

We usually have lunch here after church on Sundays. They still offer their lunch menu. Good Chinese-American food for a very reasonable price. I like their House Special chow mein very tasty and they don't skimp on ingredients. read more

I ate at this restaurant last week and it was awful. There is not one healthy option on the menu and panda express actually tastes better than the crap we had. We ordered the Mongolian beef, chicken and shrimp chow mien, BBQ pork and some other nasty dishes that were not nearly worth it. We got the lunch menu that was priced really well. I got the lemon chicken, and egg drop soup. The lemon chicken was GREAT. It was really crispy and the glaze was sour just like I like it. I got fried rice with my plate. The portions are a good size for me. The egg drop soup was very thick and has a lot of stuff in it. Which was surprising. But excellent. read more

There food is nasty. Panda Express is a million times better then this place. The food was literally gross. No flavor and the meat and seafood had to be frozen for weeks with freezer burn before they even cook it. Never going back and also making sure my family and friends don't go here either. This place does not deserve any stars yet alone be open. Disappointed for allowing a 3.5 star to persuade me to even trying this place. The salt and pepper squid rings tasted fishy and old, and why did it come with sweet and sour sauce? the fried rice had no flavor, the Mongolian beef tasted mostly like black beans and ketchup, and the prawns with lobster sauce tasted horrible. The prawns were NOT fresh and had a terrible texture and taste. There were clumps of black beans and not to mention something large and black that looked like a large insect...I had to toss out my $65 dinner and settle for pb&j sandwiches on a Friday night. I have been eating at Chopsticks since the sixties. In that time I've had the opportunity of trying everything on the menu and found all items well prepared, and the service second to none. The cocktails, especially the Vodka Martini Special, are excellent, not watered down and more than worth their reasonable price. Restaurant food preparation and presentation being subjective, their are dishes that I don't care for. The Generals Chicken, which is one of my favorite Chinese dishes, is not prepared to my liking, and sometimes the BarBQue Pork is old and dry. I have been going here for over 30 years. The food has been good. Their pot stickers are HUGE. Steamed just right and a most generous amount of filling. Have not been disappointed in any of the menu items selected. They used to do a sweet and sour fish that was outstanding. It was on the special board occasionally when they were located across the street. The noise level is subdued, you can actually hold a conversation across the table. A good restaurant. read more

We just moved to the area and have been in search of our new go to Chinese restaurant. Upon doing a search on yelp I found this place had decent reviews so we decided to give it a try. I am a big fan of Chinese-American food and have tried many different places but this place by far takes the cake for the worst one. From the soggy potstickers, pancakes which were actually just flour tortillas at a Mexican restaurant, strange tasting fried rice, sweet and sour chicken masquerading as honey sesame chicken, to the burnt stale fortune cookies it was all bad. There were limited dinner combo options so in order to order an actual dinner for two people we had to order two entrees at around $10/person 4 extra "pancakes" at $.25 a piece, a potsticker app, and special fried rice at $7.50. We spent almost $40 on a meal that we ended up throwing out. We both now feel sick and have to find something else to eat. It is also important to point out that neither of us have very high standards and aren't particularly picky. If it's hot we will usually eat it but we couldn't even make it more than a few bites. I feel they are over priced and would be even if it were free....I feel ill. read more

My family and I use to eat there often until one evening we ordered our dinner to go. Ate our dinner and within hours later we experienced the worst food poisoning you could imagine. Favorite chinese restaurant! Every dish we have tried was excellent; mandarin style. Very good one ton soup. Egg rolls were slightly greasy. Service is excellent, fast and friendly. Food comes hot & quick. Lunch for 2 comes to around $14 plus tip. My favorite is the chicken chow mein, yum! Best fried rice around. Don't expect a fancy place; simple is good. Good food. Good price. Good service. Can't ask for much more. We Like the dinner #1 and #2. Sweet & Sour Pork and Almond fried Chicken. We can get in and out for about $30 tax/tip included. Parking can be crowded, but at night we've been able to park at the bank next door (it's closed when we park there), I'm not sure if we should, but never been a problem. So the numbered dinners get us barbecued pork & egg roll; Wanton soup; main course with fried rice and chow mien; and the fortune cookie. Oh, and the people who work here are very nice and efficient and there's a full bar in the back. read more

We have had several decent experiences here but unfortunately the last time we ate here the food tasted odd and both my wife and i were sick for almost an entire evening.Not throwing up sick but very sour and upset stomachs. After trying a number of Chinese food places, I found Chopsticks to be good at cooking everything I like. And I like American-Chinese. The portion of MuShu Pork that I get as take out is enough for 1 for dinner for 4 nights and it's only $9.03 after tax. I like the Almond Chicken here too. It's tough to find a restaurant that makes it as good as the one back in Idaho that I grew up on, but this one is a close second... The food is ok, nothing special. I took out some pork chow mein. It was fine. But nothing I would return to buy again. The service was quick, efficient, friendly. And there was hardly anyone in the restaurant for lunch. The manager suggested a lunch, which may be a better deal as there is more variety. I think I'll try their lunch special next time. read more

Still looking for that elusive great Chinese place... we tried this on recommendations of friends and were not overly impressed. The food is adequate, but a little too sweet and lacking in the heat. We did enjoy our soup. I expect Kung Pao and General Tso's chicken to be full of flavor, but our plates just were not. If we were going for something mild like almond chicken or chow mien I think they would be okay. We might come back for items like those. read more

hmm..cannot figure out the poor reviews. i am asian. i do eat authentic chinese restaurants..hongkong. taiwanese..etc. i am married to someone born in hong kong. i have been eating here since the 90s and terry and ling are great people who serve..great chinese american food. i must be very fortunate in that everytime i come..the food is great from almond chicken to sweet and sour..moo shoo..this is is good solid chinese american..they do not pretend to be anything but that. my hubby loves the chowmein made the way his grandfather made for him. comfort food at its best. we know the people at t and t and they are great but they do not serve chinese american in this style and many people do love chinese american food..terry and ling have plenty of business..we visit on sundays and their lot is full..the food is solid and is good chinese american. hats off to ling and terry...their service equals the experience and quality of food. teri l. read more
