I had the sweet and sour chicken with fried rice and the hot and sour soup. I've had better. The chicken was heavily breaded. The rice was good but didn't have any egg in it. It did have small chunks of pork in it. The hot and sour soup was good but missing the long Chinese mushrooms that I love. The restaurant is very tiny inside a shopping plaza. We asked to eat there. Gave a good tip. She said she'd bring it out but forgot to mark it eat in. We had to get up and get the drinks and the food ourselves and open everything like take out. Wouldn't tip again. We were never asked how it was or even checked on. If you're looking for an actual sit down restaurant, don't go here. There were lots of people waiting on takeout while we were there, so it must be a local favorite. The price wasn't bad. $25.00 for two people. But not for me.

I recently dined at Chopsticks, and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. From the moment I walked in, the service was lackluster and unwelcoming. The hostess seemed disinterested and took a while to seat us, even though the restaurant wasn't busy. The menu looked promising, but the actual food was a major disappointment. The appetizers were cold and tasted as if they had been sitting out for a while. When the main courses arrived, they were bland and lacked the authentic flavors I was expecting. The vegetables were overcooked, and the meat was dry and chewy. To make matters worse, our server was inattentive and rude. We had to ask multiple times for water refills, and she seemed annoyed every time we requested anything. The overall atmosphere of the restaurant was dull and uninviting, with outdated decor and uncomfortable seating. I had high hopes for Chopsticks, but it failed to meet even the most basic expectations. I will not be returning and cannot recommend this place to anyone looking for quality food and good service. As someone with specific dietary requirements for personal health reasons, I felt compelled to share my encounter to caution others. Upon receiving my order, I discovered chicken instead of the anticipated beef on my receipt. When I addressed the discrepancy, the staff insisted it was beef, despite its atypical appearance. Although offered a recook with a different presentation, I hesitated due to concerns about the meat's identity. Despite being informed of a 30-minute wait, the actual duration extended to approximately 45 minutes, which, while understandable given the restaurant's business, added to the overall disappointment. Moreover, the encounter was marred by the team's apparent lack of attentiveness and demeanor, which left much to be desired. Regrettably, my meal cost $26, resulting in both monetary loss and inedible food.
