I am a teacher so I bought a new macbook pro to replace it while wfh. My brother gave me a list of places to call and this place got great reviews. I called and spoke to Dave. He told me to bring it in, which I did on the same day I called on Tuesday. I wrote down my contact number and what would I like to do with it. A day later he text messaged me the price on fixing it, transferring the data to external storage, price I would get if they bought it from me, the price I would get for selling it to somebody else. I decided to pay $275 to fix my macbook air. He offered a 90 day warranty and he wanted a cash payment. It was ready to be picked up 2 days after. I was impressed by their quick service. I hope my laptop lasts because I always need a back up device as a teacher. I will give a follow up review a couple of months later!

A reputable and trustworthy repair shop. It's a shop that leans to catering for Korean customers,…read morebut I spoke English with the owner Mr. Lee just fine. Now I have limited experience with computer shops so take my review with a grain of salt. I came here to replace my power supply and got it done for a reasonable price of $50 in total. I did however bring my own replacement power supply which cost about $120 though, so keep that in mind. The job was done in an hour and Mr. Lee called me to let me know it was done. He dusted out my rig for me as well which was quite nice of him! A quick job done excellently with a decent price! A rant about how I ended up at PC Valley below, which you can skip to the TL;DR if you're not interested. A side story before I came here is that I was looking for some other shops and was considering Neighbor PC Repair. In another world I'd have gone to them since a number of factors on paper pointed me to them. They quoted a lower price of $35 for the same job. They're closer to me. Finally they also have several more reviews than PC Valley which makes them seem more legit and trustworthy. That said, I ultimately went with PC Valley because Mr. Lee was polite and reasonable to communicate with over the phone, and because the bad reviews of Neighbor PC Repair have substance, while the negative reviews of PC Valley seem to be unreasonable and random. I'll explain; when I called Neighbor PC Repair and asked if I could get my power supply replaced, the man on the phone was skeptical and questioned my competence in even believing that my power supply was faulty. When I called PC Valley Mr. Lee was polite and did nit interrogate me. The bad reviews for PC Valley are things like 'suck shop', while the one bad review I saw for Neighbor PC Repair was several paragraphs detailing a potential scam. Sometimes misunderstandings happen, but things add up after a while. Finally the deal breaker was that PC Valley has a wide short staircase so you don't have to worry about slipping or accidentally hitting any machinery you bring up the stairs. Plenty of room to maneuver. Neighbor PC Repair has a long and narrow staircase going downwards which if you're unlucky, you could scuff or scrape large machinery like desktops as you go up and down it. TL;DR -PC Valley's owner is polite, reasonable. Their shop is located well, and essentially have no real bad reviews. -Neighbor PC Repair, their competitor in my case, has a potentially rude owner. Their shop is located poorly. They have a bad review that has substance. These factors made me choose PC Valley. No regrets! P.S. We may have the same sir name, but we're not related. Not a fake review!
