He takes time in knowing his patients, you are not rushed neither are you to leave the facility feeling diminished. There's no experimentation is any of his treatments, he is to the point and will call you on what you shouldn't be doing. He gives his best and expects his patients to follow through, otherwise, what's the point in seeking his medical advise and consult if neither patients/parents heeds to his advise. Appointment scheduled over the phone and I receive a text stating that I need to submit a copy of the insurance which I do. Appointment confirmed via text. I arrived at the office and they asked if I was paying out of pocket. I said I provided it via text. They said, "we sent you a text stating that we don't accept that insurance." I'm looking at the text, no text ever sent. I said they did not. They also asked me over the phone what insurance my newborn had, and proceeded to schedule the appointment. If I was out-of-network, wouldn't you have told me then on the phone and not went ahead and scheduled the appointment. Being out-of-network seems rather important. Why would you send something like that over a text message? That seems like something warranting a call (especially considering you shouldn't have booked the appt initially). But front office doesn't do that because they're rude and lazy. As I'm walking out the door and looking at the text messages between the office and myself, the front office girl then back talks and says, "oh we definitely sent a text." Avoid the lazy, incompetent front office they have employed.

Every single time my kids actually get sick and need to see a doctor urgently, there's never any appointments available. We've gone to the urgent care 15+ times the past few years because this location is always overbooked and never willing to see me on short notice. They should really save some spots for kids who get sick to come in and see a doctor. 2. Waiting. When you do make a scheduled appointment for your kids (for an annual checkup, which is scheduled months in advance) you get there on time. You check in, and give them your name. And then you wait. And wait. And wait. I'd estimate that I spend 45-60 minutes waiting around their office when I go. It's really ridiculous. 3. We've had issues with their MyChart system. It's mostly right, but not totally right, so it's hard to trust it.

A person without any ID or tag came in with another person whom she said was "shadowing" her. When I asked her who she was because she was not dressed as a staff person (sloppy gray t-shirt) and had no ID, she said she was an MA. Meanwhile, all if the nurses were saying goodbye for the day (it was now 4:50pm). My toddler became unsettle with these new people and was uncomfortable getting her shots. However, after the visit, I received a bill for a copay. When I contacted the billing department, they told me that if any concerns are brought up during the annual checkup and the doctor documents notes about them, the visit is then considered a regular office visit, which requires a copay. I carefully recalled what happened that day. I simply answered the questions asked by the medical staff and had the doctor perform the routine annual exam. We had some casual conversation during the visit, but I did not request any additional evaluation beyond the standard checkup. I was surprised to be told that this automatically resulted in a copay. We have visited many other pediatricians for annual checkups in the past and have never encountered this situation. The billing department repeatedly insisted that this is their policy and that their practice is different from other pediatric offices. They said the office manager would call me back to explain further, but I have not received any call or follow-up. It does not seem like they are interested in resolving this issue. I hope this clinic takes this matter seriously. Families should be aware that even if their insurance covers annual wellness visits at 100%, if the staff determines that "any concern" was brought up, they may reclassify the visit as a regular office visit and require a copay.
