Sweet & Spicy Mushroom Burger. Normally comes with fries, but I opted for a side salad (not shown) instead.

Was a Sunday afternoon for lunch, so keep that in mind. Great food (and you best bring a healthy appetite, because there's plenty of it), classy place, fairly dim with good but not overpowering music. AMAZING service from Allison. Would make a great place for a date night! NOTE: Listed hours for Sunday are a bit off. "noonish to 10-ish PM"

Really tasty burger and tots! The place is inviting and friendly staff. Almost a little overly intrusive if you want a quite dinner, but honestly, it's more of a "here everyone knows your name" feel type of place. I can't remember the burger I got, but my friend got the one with peanut butter. We both really felt like they were huge, and quality. We both agreed that there was too much cumin in the onion jam. We will probably ask for that on the side next time as it was a little over powering. The truffle tots were perfectly crisp! Next time we come we will share because portions are gigantic. Yumm! We'll be back!

    Bacon Cheese Burger on Crack

Managed to get back to Chow a year later. Burgers are still phenomenal. Had the PB&J and the Bacon Cheeseburger on Crack. This place is well worth the stop.

Great burgers, nice staff, reasonably priced drinks from a full bar! We loved the truffle seasoning on the tots!!

    Challenge excepted

My wife and I just ate here on our date night and I thought it was review worthy. The food was delicious. The slow cook there bacon in a brown sugar glaze that turns it into some sort of all American candy. She had a burger with mushrooms in it and loved it. We also got appetizers-the blue cheese fries which had an awesome cheddar cheese sauce and bits of that bacon candy and- deepfried avacodos that were pretty good too. I got the wolverine#5 burger and it was awesome but HUGE! Probably would have taken a lot of it home but the owner apparently has a challenge where he has anyone who can finish it sign his bar with a sharpie soooo. Yeah I apparently had a 4lb dinner tonight, can't pass up a challenge like that. Must stop for anyone who's hungry trust me!!!

Chelsea MAC and Cheese with Shrimp! HOLY CHOW!!!!!!!!!! My God, my mouth had a food orgasm. I'm not one to do Yelp reviews BUT this place and this dish was so effin deserving of my review! I was passing by after a long day of driving and Chows was the only place open. They sat me down 15 minutes before the last call and the waiter still took his time to explain the daily specials and I never felt rushed. I would highly recommend this place to anyone and if you live here then I'm jealous that you have a hidden gem!

I ordered the Country Fried Steak with poached eggs and gravy on the side (because I planned on taking half home and wanted to preserve the breading on the steak). The panko coating on the steak had me intrigued, but it was great! The hashbrowns were pretty tasty, although they could have been crispier. The biscuit was decent, but the flavor of the gravy and the steak brought it all together. The quality reminded me of another sports bar here in Bend that has really good breakfast/brunch foods. I can't really speak to the other dishes but my wife and daughter were very happy with their French Toast and Waffle. I'd def stop back in if I was in the area.

All of the staff are amazing and I've never had a bad experience with customer service. Many staff are high school students. My son worked there and absolutely loved working for Addi. Many customers are regulars and many out of towners that hear word of mouth how great this place is. Prices are fair and you get ALOT of food. Everything tastes great. I have yet to have a dish that didn't taste good. Fresh and made to order. Very flavorful food. The pancake is huge as well as the cinnamon roll. 4 people could eat it and each would have a belly full. The vibe is cute inside and very cozy. I love to sit and look at the decor. Addi herself waited on us and was super personable and sweet. I heard her across the cafe ask after a customer's new baby -- he hadn't been in for a year, she just remembered. A homeless guy came in and she listened to his rambling story attentively, then got him some food and sent him on his way. She's a gem. The food was pretty typical greasy spoon breakfast, which is exactly what I wanted. Solid meal and much appreciated at that hour. I think I heard then say they opened at 4am. Delightful little life saver of a spot.

It may be an old church as it was set up and the windows were all stained glass. I tried the Tonalli Latin cuisine tacos. I got the Barbacoa taco and chicken. The tacos are overfilled almost hard to eat with way too much meat but the flavor was good. I enjoyed the cabbage in the tacos for a nice fresh crunch. The chips and guacamole were good they tasted fresh made. We also got pizza which was very soggy crust and falling apart would not get again. When we asked questions about the menu, the server seemed inconvenienced by even basic inquiries, which set an uncomfortable tone from the start. The $14 smash burgers were the biggest letdown. They were so overcooked and thin that the patties had a Swiss‑cheese‑like appearance, with holes throughout and barely any actual meat -- nearly see‑through. Even my husband, who prefers his burgers well‑done, couldn't enjoy them. Had we not had a 2.5‑hour drive ahead, we would have asked for them to be remade or requested a refund. The fries were fine but nothing special; basic frozen shoestring fries. Surprisingly, the best‑tasting item was our son's small shake, which was $8. For that price, I expected a larger portion. I did notice that the to‑go shakes come in bigger cups, so if anyone orders one, I'd recommend getting it to go to actually receive the amount you're paying for. The ambiance initially seemed nice, but the service overshadowed it. Even after tipping before receiving our food, there was no acknowledgment or appreciation, and the interaction felt curt and disengaged. Based on this visit, I wouldn't be able to recommend the restaurant.

The fish and chips was sad, the pieces they gave were tiny very dense and breaded almost like a chicken strip and they looked like half of a tilapia fillet, definitely not what I expected from the GIANT picture on their reader board. Dairy Queen's chicken fingers are bigger than these pieces of fish. The tartar sauce is prepackaced and super processed and very chemical tasting. The saddest part is what they call their coleslaw, I get it, its a burger joint but dang the coleslaw is literally cabbage and no sauce, no flavor, there seems to be very little QC or manager checking food and taste on some stuff here at this location. The service at the window is always friendly and prompt once you get up there but the wait is usually pretty bad. I know you guys are local and I know you guys can do better. Whoever is managing this location you need to step up the QC on things like the slaw, make your own tartar sauce, and just step it up. I expect so much more from a local place like this, but as it is your just a bit below what I'd expect from a Burger King or McDonalds.
