I heard raves about Chow Wok in a foodie group on Facebook so I thought I'd try it out for dinner last night. I'm endless searching for great Chinese food. Chow Wok is not it. The "egg rolls" are in fact fried "spring rolls" and had a odd chemical flavor. The lo mein is flavorless and lacks vegetables. The sweet and sour chicken was spongy. And to top it off I got ill from the food and threw it up. Yuck! We will never try it again. read more

I've ordered takeout here a few times and this is my new Chinese place. Chicken taste fresh and doesn't seem to be fried in the same oil as the fish/shrimp. My kids like it too. Food is higher quality then other places that always taste funny. Normally places like this start strong and then cut the quality to save on cost. I even don't mind paying more. Today was our first take-out from Chow Wok. We ordered a family meal with pork egg rolls, wonton soup, General Tso's Chicken, Chicken and Green Beans, Beef and Broccoli, Beef Fried Rice. It was all excellent, fresh, not soggy, flavorful without being salty. The chicken dishes knocked it out of the park but the Wonton Soup was some of the best I've ever had- and I've had a lot of Wonton soup! Definitely give them a try. We will be back! read more

I'm so happy we discovered this take-out/delivery Chinese food place. Everything we ordered was superb. I have no complaints at all. The wings and crab puffs are big and delivered hot. The dishes marked spicy are actually spicy! The Kung Pao Chicken is super tender chicken in a delicious spicy sauce with peanuts packaged separately so they don't get soggy. We were going to try this place and drove a little out of the way to get there. They close at 10. It's 9:25 when we walk in the door the lady looks at us like oh crap. Asks us if it's dine in or carry out. We say dine in and she said theyre already cleaning up and want us to take it to go. I said we live 45 min away which we do we stopped on our way coming back into town. Then proceeded to make us feel so uncomfortable about us being there we just left. After doing some searching on Yelp, I came across this place and my husband and I decided to give it a try. We ordered at 8:53PM and picked up our order at 9:15PM. We ordered 2 orders of the general tso chicken, 1 order of house fried rice (with no shrimp since I'm allergic) and 1 order of chicken Lo Mein. In the words of my husband, we could have just had Panda Express. The chicken was dry with no sauce and the fried rice tasted old. I'm unsure if they have us old food because they were closing or if the food is like this normally. The customer service was great which is why I gave it 2 stars. No more response. His personality is as bland as this fake fried rice! No thanks for trying my new restaurant nothing. I did the orange chicken with fried rice. But the fried rice IS NOT FRIED! It takes like what it is. White rice with soy sauce and egg. Will never ever be back. I knew I should have went to The Chef who really has fried rice! Dont call it fried rice if its white rice with soy sauce. The orange chicken had fried orange peels and the chicken was hard and dry. Lucky for me, my friend Jordan Hill, was eating when I walked in...totally random. He suggested the general tso chicken, and I obliged. Im a sucker for crab puffs, too, so i ordered those also. Holy cow, for the price you pay, you get an astonishingly large portion of food. It was fresh, hot, and delicious. When I'm in the area, this will be my go-to. Some of these reviews are wack if you actually read them. Generally speaking, the spelling and grammar issues on low star reviews should be your first instinct to not take them seriously.
