The Fire Burns Deep.................................... Their spicy pork salad ( ordered mild) is really tasty but borderline hot . Takes a couple of beers to get through. Egg rolls are great. Lots of interesting things on the menu. The nice thing about the restaurant is that they did not overspend on the decor . Don't expect fancy. Decor is simple, clean. Service very good. read more

Their Asian fusion foods are awesome! Love their bowls and haven't found a bad item on the menu yet. All the locals know the spot, and the staff don't mind if the whole office shows up. Service is quick, they get the orders right, and the portions are hearty. Don't have delivery, but the short drive is always worth it! read more

Glad we finally tried this place! Everything was fresh and flavorful. We got fresh oysters, seaweed salad (delicious!), spicy beef ramen for my husband and the baked lobster bowl for me. Really friendly service and a nice atmosphere...cute decor and cool music. We'll be back! read more

So far it hasn't disappointed. Has great vegetarian options: veggie fried rice, veggie fried noodles, spicy ramen (no meat), etc. Their sweet potato fries are DOPE. I don't think I can praise this establishment enough. read more

It was awful. The service was rude...no emotion or attempt of a smile. The tree inside is COVERED with dust. Overall yuck.

I love this place. The salads are excellent and the teriyaki bowls are HUGE. Everything is fresh and service is spot on.

Soup was good, house salad was really good with beets and fresh greens and a delicious dressing. Chicken teriyaki was moist and delicious with Korean bbq sauce included ouble the rice I needed. Wish this was a franchise, I'd be a regular. read more

Ever since we discovered this place we got stuck to it! We eat here at least once a month. It's a little pricey but the portion and taste is definitely worth it. The food are always fresh and the service is superb. I love love their aoli dip and calamari! But everything else is really delish! A must try if you are around the area. Really friendly, tasty, and huge portions. I recommend the beef fried rice and pork egg rolls. Don't order the rice mildly spicy though unless you are prepared! It was tasty but spicy!! I prefer it just regular. The portions are so big my husband and I share. read more

I and my husband were really enjoyed this restaurant. We've ordered stirred spicy seafood and spicy seafood udong soup(called jjam bong). Taste was just awesome and lots of seafood. And I was so surprised because their seafood quality was good as well. We are from Seattle. There is also many korean restaurant as well. We've been in so many resturants but chou ya was the best. We remember this small town Lompoc is so beautiful town just because chow ya!! :) I would like to visit there again!! read more

Definitely a. place to try if you like Asian food. Our favorite was the dynamite. Word of caution, their spicy ahi tuna is very spicy.

I've been to this Restaurant and I went there and it was really good. I love the noodles and the staff were nice. they play good music it warm welcoming coming to this Asian restaurant I would recommend coming here for lunch or dinner. read more

Well I tried one of there bowls. The crispy fried tofu. Half the bowl was rice. Way to much rice for me. The tofu was hard and difficult to chew. It also came will stemmed broccoli, cabbage, zucchini and carrots. It wasn't worth the $13. For some reason it felt like the heat was one in there also. Overall not a good experience for my first visit. Wait staff was nice and friendly. Unfortunately I don't think I'll return. read more

Always excited to try a new place to eat! Great atmosphere, lacked some good air flow and was kinda stuffy, very clean, service was okay.. never got asked for a refill and kinda sat around till they noticed we were ready to go. I got the Spicy Pork bowl, it was alright, except like another yelper said, the chili paste was way too much, felt like I was eating peanut butter cuz it just coated my tongue. Wife got the spicy ramen, which came out extremely steaming hot, not spicy hot mind you, she said the flavor was great, but she had to let it sit a good 10 minutes before it was cool enough to eat. Extreme hot + 10 minutes = soggy ramen noodles. Overall, we really wanted to like this place, but the 55 bucks I spent was not worth it. Maybe in the future, Chow Ya. read more

I went to Chow Ya for lunch today for the third time, with the same friend each time. We've had their bowls each time, and have not been disappointed even once. Today my friend had the lobster bake bowl, and I had the beef bowl. Both orders were served with miso soup, which we both enjoyed. My only complaint about the soup is I wish they put more tofu in it - I really like tofu! Both of our bowls were very good, as always: lots of meat, plenty of fresh vegetables and a ton of sticky rice. Today is the first time I've left without a to-go box. Their portions, at least for the bowls, are huge, and the prices are very reasonable. I do think though that $2.95 is a bit steep for a glass of iced tea, even with refills. The service has always been very prompt, friendly and courteous. I will definitely eat there again, maybe even for dinner!! read more

The food here is so good. We had the crunch sweet chili shrimp and the spicy calamari bowls. By far the best food I've had here in Lompoc. The spicy calamari was nice and hot and yummy, and the shrimp's batter was perfectly crunchy with awesome sweet chili sauce. The bowls came with miso soup which was excellent. The price was great, if you complain about it, you are a cheapskate. Our cost for two people was the same as our last order at panda express but the quality was way better. The portions were huge, we came home with enough for another meal. The staff were really friendly and service was quick. This restaurant is Santa Barbara quality. read more

SO good! All the food is so good & fresh! A little pricey for the whole family to go. My favorite is the vegetable rice bowl with brown rice, add grilled chicken, with veggie sauce (amazing sauce). My husband loves the spicy pork rice bowl. The jalapeño appetizer is really good too. My 3 girls will share the combo yakisoba & it's enough for them all.
