The food is delicious [[HIGHLIGHT]]Ambience is mellow - but a vibe[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Service was good! I got gyozas and a miso soup as well. Plus my drink. Best rainy night solo date! Total with tip- $75! (WORTH IT)

The food at Sake Sushi always hits the spot! The service is attentive and [[HIGHLIGHT]]the ambiance is always such vibe![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] This is definitely one of our families favorite restaurants!

Well I meant to take pictures of our beautifully prepared food... but we couldn't wait to eat! Only my second time here but I want to rave about not only the delicious food.... [[HIGHLIGHT]]But the atmosphere and decor inside is so great.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The food is really fresh. I'm very picky about sushi. As everyone should be! The fish is melt in your mouth delicious. Both times we've been there. We were served by the greatest waitress. I do wanna say each person on their staff that we talk to was very friendly and helpful! Our server though was the best! We caught her name this time.... Next time you're in there ask for Rachael! Tell her Alia Rachael sent you... she'll get a real kick out of it. I drive up on the weekends from Los Angeles to visit my boyfriend. Lompoc is a hard place to find quality food. And most of the inside of the restaurants here look like people have temporarily moved in. There's some breakout places that have outstanding food.... But we've had some weird service. It's rarely both in one place. We will be back too have sushi here often. I also come from a background in the restaurant/bar/management industry. It's really refreshing to be served by people who are genuine and you can tell sincerely like being in the food industry. Trying to find pictures from the last time we there so I can edit this post.... But in the meantime, didn't wanna miss the opportunity to Push people to go try this if you haven't. [[HIGHLIGHT]]PS we were in there fairly late on a rainy Saturday night. I imagine they had more business earlier but when we were there, it was getting close to closing time not a lot of people and we still had top-tier service.... And beautifully presented and prepared food.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

The food was good, though the service could use a slight improvement. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambiance combined Japanese and Korean influences, and the K-Pop music was really enjoyable.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Terrible service is an understatement. Kids that don't have a fucking clue working in there on their cell phones. Fucking up the order and then arguing with me! I grew up in LA eating sushi for over 35 years. How these places are in business is beyond me. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I should have know right away that it was a mistake when I saw that the "sushi bar" was being used as a shelf for sake.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] So no sushi bar at this sushi bar.

Popcorn roll, tiger roll, aloha roll and one other. We also had the spicy edamame.

Sake Sushi is a bit short handed with 3 servers considering the number of tables, so service was average. It could use a little updating or a makeover and get rid of all the paper signs trying to promote different menu items. Sushi was good although some of the rolls were a bit big to pick up. I would try it again in the future.

Sake sushi ended up being our lunch gathering spot today since it was open on Sunday. When you walk in you can definitely feel the Japanese vibes. They have Japanese music videos playing and lighted cherry blossom trees hang from the ceiling. The waitress was very nice and attentive. For an appetizer we started off with the garlic edamame. It was okay. There was A LOT of oil and butter at the bottom of the bowl, so it was a little overwhelming. You absolutely cannot go wrong with their beef teriyaki. It is personally one of my favorite dishes here and it very aesthetically pleasing, along with the I love DH roll. The menu is huge, so you should definitely be able to find something you like. All in all, it is not the best spot for edamame, but it's a great spot for everything else. Come check it out.

Approved by Koreans. The best bibimbap. The service was great, and the atmosphere is fun.

I ordered the shrimp pho, cucumber salad, and spicy garlic edamame for takeout. When I got home, my meal was missing the noodles for my pho.

I use to recommend this place but the fish qaulity has gone down hill. I'm not sure if I'll give this place a try.

Is it all you can eat?

Yes, but with their all you can eat you cannot customize anything you order and you're expected to eat everything on the plate before getting a new order. Anything left over that gets wasted you have to pay for. Say you ordered the chicken teriyaki,… Read more

I have no idea how this place has more than 2 stars. I have…read moretwo littles and decided to stop by on our way home rather than go to the other side of town to our usual spot. At first impression I should have known- it was lunch time and empty- you have to self order and navigate their kiosk- no help with two kids and still ask for a tip. There was one younger girl with dark hair in the cluttered kitchen/drink area who didn't even acknowledge us- just went to the back and started rummaging. A second lady showed up and started preparing our sushi order. At that point I noticed the dirty tables and lack of service so decided to change my order "to go." I stood there trying to get their attention and was finally acknowledged. The lady who seemed to be in charge was handing out cash to another younger lady who came in (weird asf too). I finally get my order and bring it home. The nigiri was poorly cut- but edible. My poke bowl had a small amount of tuna that tasted sour and has signs of cooking through citrus, imitation crab, and seaweed salad (extra cost), then I see a whole romaine end, browning and cut up under that making the bulk of the bowl, followed by rice. Nothing like the picture at the kiosk. Then as I try to mix things up for a bite (I am starving at this point) I see a dark black hair. Needless to say I was extremely disappointed and unable to eat my food. I called to let them know and the younger lady who was there said she would let the owner know after sitting down and looking at all the food that was wasted. I decided to call back and ask for a refund. At that point, the younger lady kept repeating what I was saying, as she was relaying the information to what sounded like to be the owner. She told her to tell me that I needed to go back with the food. I let her know that I was unable to do that right now as I had two little kids who needed to nap- that's why I came home. She said she couldn't do a refund- until I went there with the food and my card. I was also told to refrigerate this food- are they going to use it?!? Smh. Ultimately I am out $40, and no lunch. I will never return or recommend to anyone. I'm thinking the reviews are for the teas- which I didn't try.

The Asahi arrived in a frozen mug, which made it even more refreshing. We also ordered the Shell Beach Sunset roll, which had an amazing balance of raw and cooked fish, vegetables, and the added crunch of tempura flakes. All the flavors and textures worked perfectly together. The nine-piece sashimi was beautifully presented and incredibly fresh. For dessert, we had the tempura ice cream and the green tea cheesecake--both were absolutely delicious. Honestly, everything we ordered was fantastic. Our servers, Jasmine and Austin, truly killed it. They were friendly, attentive, and genuinely engaged throughout the meal. The restaurant itself had great lighting and décor, was spotless and well-maintained, even down to the restrooms. Parking was plentiful and free. Overall, we had a wonderful time with family and friends. An amazing experience and definitely worth coming back to.

It was plenty of food and we think it could feed three people easily (or take home leftovers). The mixed tempura was surprisingly good, but we didn't care for the seaweed or house salad. The rolls are always good and we really enjoyed trying most things at once. It's a fun way to try Kanpai! You don't need a reservation in a pair, but consider one if you're a bigger group. Otherwise, you're sat and served quickly. 3.8/5
