They represented both buyer and seller in my transaction and I felt they strongly favored the buyer. As a seller you are in a weak bargaining position because of the monthly berthing fee. I had to pay for equipment that was not included in the original offer to sell, and I was told that I should "negotiate" the county taxes coming due directly with the buyer, as they did not address that in the contract. A more honest answer would have been to tell me that I'm on the hook for more than a year of the buyer's tax liability according to state law. I would not sell a boat through Farallone Yacht Sales again.
