I went to print some photos from my external hard drive and it was dead. Of course I was flipping out, so did a quick yelp search to see what my options were. Before you read this, DO NOT TAKE YOUR COMPUTER TO THIS GUY. I Repeat. DO NOT TAKE YOUR COMPUTER TO GET SERVICED BY THIS GUY. I'll try to keep it brief. I brought my MacBook Pro in to Chris for service. The hinge was broke and the screen was breaking. It was a Saturday. He said it would be fixed by the following Monday. After 2 months of him dodging my calls, lying to me, leaving the state while telling me he "was working on it", having to call him from different phone numbers because he wouldn't answer if he knew it was me, leaving my computer in someone else's car, he finally returned it to me in a worse condition than it was when I gave it to him for service. Two weeks before I got it back I explained to him that I didn't want it worked on because at that point I just needed it back. However, he kept dodging my calls and promising to deliver with no avail. In the end, my laptop looked like someone put cigarette or marijuana ash all over it. He had nothing to say but a weak apology. This is not how you run a business. We trust you, place our investment into your hands and the least you could do is treat us, your customers with respect. If you can't fix it, tell us and give it back. If Chris knows he can't fix it, he figures since he's not getting any money for it so he can take his time giving you back your property whenever he feels like since you're not priority anymore. I thought since there were so many "five star" reviews in here that I was going to get great service or at least get my computer fixed, but I was wrong. I had the worst experience possible and my computer needs to be propped up against the wall and hooked up to an external monitor to even function. Bottom line, forget the fake "five stars" and go elsewhere. read more

I hate to sound like the last guy, but it's so true... I'm the computer guy in my group of friends. I fix their problems and answer their questions, but when I can't figure something out I call Chris. He is the man for the real stuff. The kind of stuff you need college for. I've never hit him with a problem he couldn't figure out! Just don't try to watch him because he flies around you computer so fast you won't get it. (great when paying by the hour!) I dropped off my computer several months ago. When I checked up on the status of the repair every few weeks, Chris kept saying, "Oh, I expect a shipment (of parts) later today." After my Mac PowerBook hard drive suddenly died, I was pretty rattled when I called Chris after finding him on Yelp and he couldn't have been more reassuring and friendly.
