Romy managed to fix both pairs so they look and function like new. I'm thrilled to have my two favorite boots back. It was absolutely worth the money: he repaired both of my shoes, which retail for several hundred dollars, at just a fraction of what it would have cost me to replace them new. I checked their Instagram account and saw that they did good work. When I came back to pick up my boots, there was a lady with 7 pairs of old shoes to do all kinds of repairs. She was only charged $55... I was standing behind her, so I heard the price she was given. You do the math! I think Alfonso makes up prices as he goes. I confronted him, but he didn't like it. He also changed the color of my boots from lite brown to chocolate brown. I asked him to polish my boots NOT to change the color. Needless to say, I gave this repair shop the benefit of the doubt, and I let it slide. I went back to get a leather bag repaired, and the price he quoted me was $300.00! I couldn't believe it. I walked right out. I will never return. One thing I must say to the manager is this: If you cannot take the heat, get out of the kitchen. That is a business, and you should be fair with all your clients. I wonder if the Greek guy that owns this place is aware of what is going on there. I had recommended this place to my friends and family, but I immediately let everyone know that this is not a place you want to go to. Take your business elsewhere. Period.
