I took my Jeffrey Campbell boots here to get the calves stretched. He was able to stretch them overnight and had me try them on to ensure they fit correctly before leaving the store. I was quoted over $300 from another cobbler which was crazy! He stretched the calves for $75 per shoe. This felt a bit pricey to me, but again was MUCH better than other places. I have been very busy that I don't have time to write review nowadays, but Eduard did such a great job that it would be a crime if I don't write this review. My wife asked me to bring her boots over after seeing so many positive reviews and great craftsmanship The boots are really old (20 years old) and the bottom soles are hardened due to age, making it unwearable and slippy. Eduard took the boots and did such a great job in replacing the soles. Not only he made it seamless, the new soles look original (remember they are 20 years old boots). My wife was amazed how nice they came out and you can see it in the photos. She just tried on them, and she kept complimenting how comfortable the cushion of the soles are. She is really happy with the work Eduard did. It only took Eduard two days to finish the job, and he also replaced the heel tips even though we did not tell him to. Thanks again for the great work. If I could less stars I would. First of all beware of this business. Eduardo will try to extort you out of additional money. I paid $330 for two pairs of boots to be fixed and a zipper on a bag. Not only did he not even bother to clean the boots but a one of a kind leather bag from Italy was ruined. If you believe his response to this review, than you deserve the service you get. Everything was discussed upfront. He did not give me a discount as I negotiated the price down from $380 to $330 and he still damaged the bag and did not give a refund on that. Now I have to get the zipper redone. As for "threatening him a review" I never did such thing or asked for anything for free. All I said is that it is normally included in the cost, especially for something over $330 and it would be reflected in the review and than asked to pick up my items. Eduardo is a crook and a liar. What is OUT OF TOUCH is asking to have the shoes completely repaired and cleaned. He can say whatever he wants in his response to his review but it is a lie. He also originally asked $175 for a zipper and he still didn't even do the bag right. If you want to get taken advantage of than go here. If he got his way he would have charged almost $500 just to include the suede cleaning in the original cost. If his business is doing so poorly, maybe you should try to get a loan and not rip customers off after they already gave you their items and repeatedly text them until they pay you. He will only let you pay via venmo, upfront. Venmo isn't for businesses and you can't dispute the charge. You can only report it to your local law enforcement so they can investigate. I wasn't aware of this so I would advise people to fully research where they go before and do not fall for this trap because you will have your money stolen. Also this isn't a false review. Talk about taking advantage of people, he quoted over $380 to start and I had to point out that was high. I have been furloughed for six months and paid a high price for work that you can see was not even done correctly. He is taking advantage of clients to line his pockets and doing so over venmo so you cannot get refunded. Which is fine because the proper parties have been notified of this illegal activity. read more

My favorite cobbler for the last 10 years closed their doors, so I tried this spot for the first time. You might love it here, but I am giving 2 stars for two main reasons. First, I just didn't think they took my request seriously. My shoes only had small scuffs, but they are my wedding shoes (yes, for my literal wedding!). I told them that, but they still made comments like "are your guests going to be lying on the floor? No one can see!" To their credit, they did touch up the shoes for $30 while I waited. It took about 5 minutes. I guess I didn't feel confident that they were taking it seriously or doing the best possible job. Maybe they did. But I didn't have confidence. Second, the conversation immediately turned political and he just wouldn't stop. This isn't about what the man's perspective was, it's that he talked to me so much about it and nothing I did to try to change or stop the conversation worked. I just needed to get my shoes handled and get back to work (I was late to my meeting, obviously). He immediately insulted the person with me who was wearing a mask by saying "Why are you still scared?" He then complained that they were going to fire you if you didn't get a vaccine before complaining that soon they are going to make companies fire you if you don't come back to the office after a period of work from home. Somehow, some way this turned into the Russia/Ukraine conflict where he made it clear that he is a Russian sympathizer and said he listens to the Russian news because our news is such propaganda. From there it was just a hop, skip, and a jump away from his POV on Israel and Palestine. So... as you can see... the guy was going OFF on topics that I simply had no interest in discussing with him.
