I got a refill on my gel nails and eyebrow waxed and paid $47.00 .. I asked her why so much because the sign said of different price for a refill for gel. On the sign it said $20 for gel fill. After I pointed that out to her she pointed to a handwritten sign and then told me that was the right price which was hidden behind a plant. This is my second time coming into Chrissy's. I hated my first experience but I decided to give it a second chance today. I came in for a soak off & gel manicure. They talked me into getting the dip powder. I'm currently pregnant & I have bad carpal tunnel in my right hand. As I was getting my nails soak off, they kept moving me from one table to the next. I was on my feet all day at work & I wanted to relax but I'm constantly getting up & sitting down. If I wanted to move around; I would've stayed at work. When the girl starts doing my nails she was so aggressive with the machine that she burn/hurt my nail. My wrist & arm are sore/numb from my carpal tunnel & she kept criticizing how my hand wasn't relaxed while she was doing my nails which made me kept explaining that I have BAD CARPAL TUNNAL. She asked me what nationally I am & I told her that I am Cambodian & she kept calling me Chinese or Filipino. I was getting annoyed & angry. She rushed & left some of my nails coffin & some square. I'm reminded again why I haven't been here in two years. They are overpriced...& they specialize in nail art & NOT nail care. I found Chrissy's Nails on Instagram after searching for a long time to find a place to get ombré acrylics in the Philly area. My acrylic manicure looks great, however I was extremely put off by the price (starts at $60 for ombré acrylic with no design). I was then told that to add small paper flowers it would be an additional $15. The store was loud and Chrissy was not focused while she did my nails, stopping multiple times to have conversations with other patrons or getting up over and over. I was there much longer than anticipated considering I didn't get anything special done. End result looked good, but I will not return when I could get an acrylic manicure downtown for half the cost and less hassle. read more

I went to Chrissy Nails last night to get a refill. I waited for a little bit but it wasn't that bad, I was updated and talked to multiple times while I waited. Tony did my nails and he made them look beautiful! He reshaped and resized them, he really took his time and knew what he had to do to get them looking better then what they were. I will definitely be going back to see Tony and having him do my nails again! read more

I really hate writing bad reviews, but this is from my own personal experience. I went in on an early Saturday afternoon, maybe around 1pm or so. I got a gel manicure. The staff was very pleasant and the environment was very warm and the décor very pretty.. But I wasn't going there for just the looks of the place, the gel manicure was mediocre. The actual manicure part was pleasant and the girl doing my nails was very sweet and gentle....however, the color that I chose was royal blue and it required a few coats to attain the desired shade....that wasn't done. As soon as I reached my car one of the nails already chipped as I saw the clear gloss coat hadn't reached the tip - at all. My cuticles weren't cut as much as I'd hoped and again the color wasn't a royal blue..it turned out to be more of a purple.. read more

The staff is very friendly and they are accommodating. There are lots of services offered. I got a mani/pedi and I had lots of color options to choose from. I felt welcomed and comfortable. The service was fast, the prices are reasonable and the store is clean and set up nicely. I will return here in the future. read more

I've been coming to Chrissy's for a little over a year now. My daughter brought me here and treated me to a mani and full set and I've been hooked since! I truly enjoy coming here because I feel special when I walk in...they have remembered my name and always ask me how my daughter is from day one! Randy is always there to suggest a color for me, while Chrissy or Wendy chat about their life with me, as well as them asking about mine. Chrissy and Wendy do an amazing job on my nails - Randy hasn't done them yet - tho he makes sure my wine glass is always full ;-) and their daughters have always given me the best spa pedi. I'm completely and totally relaxed by the end of my experience here. Friendly staff who had nice conversation about a variety of different topics like kids, travel and current events!! They served wine, water, grapes, cheese and flat pretzels and kept the plates full. Clean establishment with a modern design. Played techno music the whole time. I got the fire walker pedicure for 40$. It's their most expensive one and comes with a leg and foot massage Wendy was my technician and I definitely recommend her! My friend got her pedi done by Jason. Sat in the chair to get my quick refill.....I had Crissy, just after I sat down she picked up her cell phone and made a call she then talked on the phone the whole time as did my nails. She was slow and her actions were completely rude! No prices posted.... $17.00 for a refill without any design and that same evening one chipped. I will not return, not even to have my chip fixed. Drove two hours away and the experience went well until my nail broke two weeks later. I paid over 100 dollars for these nails. The reason I went to this person was because this youtuber on instagram went there as well, but she experienced the same problem as me. This is what happens when you don't listen to your gut feeling. I was going to give them another chance to see if it was just a mistake, but Chrissy saw my message on Instagram and never responded. Nail techs need to do better!!!! My appointment was at 4:30 I got there on time and waited OUTSIDE in 97 degree weather until 5 anyway... pedicure was nice she took her time but false advertised $45 for "much more services" like foot cream and a couple minute message was surely not worth 20 more dollars not to mention the extra 10 for gel that they made seem was included in this $45 pedicure. My full set didn't get done until 8:30 and even after that there were lumps everywhere so Chrissy spent another 20 minutes re-doing my set nicely but didn't have time to do what I came for.. then they had the nerve after being there hours after closing, to charge me extra for every little thing that I was not aware of during my services. After all this time I was patient and understanding I couldn't believe they had so many extra charges that weren't mentioned along the way.My eyebrows were half done and my chin (she stated was not allowed to wax bc of my mask) but did anyway all in a hurry and they charged me $20 for half eyebrow and quick chin wax. While In there the cops were called on an unhappy customer and they rewarded her money back. But people like me who try to work with their horrible service, can't even get a break? My eyelashes I was told were $35 but because she didn't put the length I wanted and had to add a few more, it became $45... I am never one to write bad reviews but this honestly needed one. I have been getting my nails done at Chrissy's for a little over a year. They are one of my favorite places to go and definitely good quality, not like some of these corner nail salons or the ones in local malls. I usually always leave there pleased and loving my nails! They specialize in 3D nail art which is originally why i first started going to them, not a lot of salons in the Northeast do. The Salon itself is beautiful and everything is up to date/ high tech. The staff is very pleasant especially Lisa, which is the owner. Everytime i go in the Salon there is a good group of people, but the wait is never long. They also offer pedicures and waxing services. The pedicure spa is very relaxing, usually the same guy does pedicures and he really knows what he is doing. read more

I like this place a lot, it's not big just 4 chairs for pedicure and 6 for manicure, but it's cozy, so relaxing nobody speaks loud everybody is friendly. They take their time doing the nails, nobody rushes in which I like, I enjoy the pedicures a lot and they really massage the feet nicely. The only thing is there is not a big choice of polishes, but can always bring your own with you, to me it's not really a problem. I recommend this place. read more

I was coming here before the fire, after they remodeled and finally open I was so excited to come back, however the last two times I've been here it just seems like the newer people working there, don't care. One of the reasons I pay so much money and enjoy coming here is for the different nail designs nail art they offer. Last time I went I asked the Woman to fix a cracked nail by taking it off and replacing it along with a my refill because in my experience when you put acrylic over topic crack now it's the first one to break. Instead she flat out told me no and continued putting the acrylic over the crack! She had an awful attitude the whole time from beginning to end! Feeling frustrated and rushed I allowed her to finish when it came to my nail art which I am very big on, considering I work with my hands I like my nails to be beautiful, she then notified me that she does not do any nail designs. If I'm going to pay $95 for a Pedicure, Full set, and a nail design on each nail I expect to walk out with something I feel very confident with! I went in on Wednesday to get my nails done, my nail broke Thursday morning putting on holiday sweater for Thanksgiving. Broke in the very exact spot that it was cracked before! If you only want your nails to last a week then come here. I had gel start peeling off after a few days and thought it was just because of my job that this happened so I switched to the dip powder and that started to crack at about a week. Dip powder is supposed to last 2 weeks at the minimum. They absolutely destroyed my natural nails. Also, if Randy does them he will only use the one brand that they have which was chisel but they offered two the last time i was there, kiara sky and chisel. I had enough of them so I tried somewhere else and I get about 3 weeks without the dip powder cracking. Imagine that? The place I go to now also has way more color choices and what they can do with the dip powder. read more

She was rude (chrissy the owner) I'll admit im meticulous person however when I asked before I sat in anyones chair whose the best at stiletto nails. And her husband (randy) said they all are just tell them you dont want it wide. Which I did but when it became a problem because you're changing my nail shape that I came in with (real stiletto not almond with a point ) as theres a difference. Then the owner (chrissy) started doing my nails if it wasnt bad enough that she spoke bad about me in vietnamese with the original nail tech. She felt it was ok to tell me "you're very picky my staff cannot deal with you you're lucky my client canceled" I responded dont worry I wont be back. If you & your staff learned nail shapes we wouldn't be at this junction. This is the reason I stopped coming here years ago I thought it changed how wrong was I. You're silly to think you can charge the prices you do and mess up my nails. read more
