Cute boutique. Friendly service. Meager selection. I LOVE my Louboutins so I had high expectations on my first real boutique experience. The only Louboutin stores I'd been to in the past were at South Coast Plaza (in OC) and The Shoppes at The Palazzo (Las Vegas). The mall stores just don't compare to the real thing, or so I thought. Most of my collection was purchased at Dept Stores like Barneys, Neiman Marcus, & Bergdorf. I was disheartened that the boots I wanted were nowhere in sight. I suppose I should have checked their boutique on the UWS but we didn't have time. Also, the styles they did have in-stock were either way out of budget ($5k+ per pair) or the older seasons. I would have rated this location 3 stars but the very helpful sales associate gave me a heads up on their upcoming styles. I cannot wait for the Spring-Summer collection to release! The door remains locked so ring the doorbell. Hope you have better luck than I did!

A small and intimate little boutique which, as far as I'm concerned, seems smack dab in the middle of a residential area. No obvious signage to mark its presence from the rest of the neighborhood, but their telltale heels with the trademark red soles are displayed prettily near the window. Inside is lush decor in pinks and reds, including a huge glass cherry blossom ceiling fixture. Sizes here are different so if you only know your "American" size, ask the staff to convert that for you. Some staff seem intent on leaving you alone while others are very helpful. All have been polite no matter what you come through the door in, an experienced attitude that pays. That is what makes this store approachable and preferred vs. the Neiman Marcus or Saks showroom areas. It also helps that some items here go on sale before the stores follow suit. I noticed it was the most frumpy character in a sort of sweatsuit that walked away with 5 pairs. Speaking of which, thanks for being nice to the little asian girl with the prominent "fried egg" plastic band-aid on her ankle.

Michael helped me and pulled out every shoe they had (which they pretty much had every style) in my size.

This bag means the world to me because it was my very first designer bag, gifted to me over 10 years ago They worked absolute magic! The cleaning and restoration were done with such incredible care and attention to detail. When I got it back, it literally looked brand new You would never know it had gone through anything! Shoutouts to Leather Spa bringing it back to life! On top of that, the turnaround time was so fast which meant so much to me. I'm beyond grateful to have my sentimental piece restored so beautifully. It looks just the same now as it did when I first got it. I highly recommend them to anyone needing expert care for their luxury items! 10/10 experience!

I first brought the boots to the Grand Central location and was turned away because apparently only 55th Street (the least accessible NYC location for me) does calf alterations. My boots were 1-1.5" too wide in the calves as I have very narrow legs, and while I was clear that I didn't want them to be tight, I did want them to look more fitted and neater around my legs. I went to 55th Street and intentionally had the boots fitted over jeans, repeatedly telling the store employee that he was cutting off my circulation and needed to loosen the boots. Rather than listen to me and do what I asked, he told me that they could stretch them if they turned out too small. I very adamantly said no, I will not compromise the integrity of the leather by stretching them nor will I agree to have the boots made too small so that additional work will be required. I finally asked him to provide the final measurement and was told it was 13". The boots were originally 14.5" for reference. The boots were ready in just over a week, which already had me concerned since I hadn't requested a rush job. Upon receiving them, I could immediately see that they were two different sizes. The left boot is 12.5" and the right boot is just barely 12.25". They are nearly impossible to zip, the seams were done VERY poorly and not straight, and most importantly, they do not fit without severe pain. I cannot walk in them. I literally can't even move my right ankle. And that's on my bare legs without jeans. I immediately contacted Leather Spa and received a response from Vincent who said it's very common for boots with this type of repair to require additional treatment and that I should bring them back for stretching. Did I not already have this conversation BEFORE I paid $300+ to ruin $2k+ boots??? Vincent insists they are not ruined even after I sent photos showing that they very much are. Further, they didn't even send them back to me nicely - they threw shreds of cut leather pieces inside one of the boots and just sent them off that way as further evidence of the total rush job. I used to frequent Leather Spa 55th and my patronage fell off years ago after they did something very similar to a pair of $300 boots. I was very clear during my visit this time that that could not happen again with my brand new Louboutin boots that were significantly more expensive. Had the employee just told me on the spot that they were going to cut my boots too small and require stretching thereafter, I would've taken the boots, walked out and gotten them repaired elsewhere. Literally the only reason I returned to Leather Spa is because Christian Louboutin recommends them. Never again.
