Know how much your copay is going in. COMMUNICATE WITH YOUR INSURANCE PROVIDER before stepping foot in here because again, they will schedule your appointment and wait until you arrive to tell you information is missing and you can't be seen. The staff at this practice is excellent. Dr. Willey herself is an outstandiing physician. She is friendly, attentive, candid and compassionate. This gave me the reassurance that I wouldn't have to beg for the test that I wanted if I ended up wanting to take it and was willing to pay for it. I am a senior with a prior heart condition and would not normally be comfortable with a NP or PA-C, however, just the opposite at Progressive Health. I see Jennifer G. and she is brilliant, caring, kind, and thorough. My daughter says the same thing about the NP she sees. The clinic staff are efficient and well trained. I've never waited more than 15 minutes for my appointments and they also have telehealth if requested. I was skeptical when they did and didn't want to pay the fee so switched offices. Big mistake! There is no another office that cares as much! In fact during the time I was at another office I had a mystery illness that the other office couldn't solve (and in fact I am positive they didn't even believe what I was saying). After a year and a half of this illness, I decided to switch back because I knew how good the doctors here were. Dr Amick spent hours with me going over everything that had occurred and spent many hours on his own researching possibilities. After a few tests and just 2 or 3 months he diagnosed me and solved the problem! Dr Amick is a fantastic doctor. He cares and also helps educate you on what's going on, never trying to talk over your head. The office is clean, everyone in the office is super friendly and they never rush you so that you actually get excellent care. It's such a great feeling when you have a doctor like this!

I wanted a concierge service so I could deal with issues quickly as my mother was having mental decline due to vascular dementia. Dr. Maged and the staff have been wonderful over these last 2.5 years. Often my mother would complain of something and - if it was not an urgent issue - I'd leave an email with the MDVIP service. Dr. Maged would follow up with a phone call within 24 hours and either (a) talk things thru with me or (b) schedule an immediate visit for the next day. I have called the office with an urgent need first thing in the morning and the office always found a way to fit us in that day. My mother's mental decline has made for some difficulty with her as a patient - but Dr. Maged and the staff - always took time to listen to her and reassure her. They have been a wonderful support for me in caring for my mother and I would not change a thing. Dr. Maged is retiring and he took careful time and planning to introduce my mom to his replacement Dr. Crowe. We look forward to the same support, service and understanding as a patient at Internal Medicine Associates.
