I purchased a Groupon for 120 Russian Volume lashes. When I arrived I choose the following, CUTE, C CURL, MEDIUM 11-12mm. I've had my lashes done several times before so I am pretty familiar with what I like but decided to buy the Groupon for 120 this time to try out a bit more. I was instantly turned off as the lash tech kept stopping and had her phone by my ear on the bed and it wouldn't stop vibrating. I literally had to ask her to please stop using her phone and to move it away from me. If I shut the vibration off on my own phone I don't think I would want to hear anyone else phone vibrating on my ear. I was done in an hour, this definitely isn't 120 lashes per eye nor do I see any lashes in the corners like the "cute" style shows. The place is definitely cute, organized and well kept. The reception service was fine as well but the lash tech service did lack a bit and I'm not sure if they are putting less or something cheaper if people buy Groupons but I definitely would have went else where if I knew I wouldn't get what I expected.

Only 4 days after my installation and my right eye is almost bare. They also don't put any in the inner corners.

Purchased a Groupon for Russian volume 120 pieces per eye. My lashes took almost an hour and a half to do but when I was able to see them, while decent, it wasn't what i expected for "120 lashes". I had a very large gap on my right eye and the tech kept brushing them to move some lashes to that spot and cover the gap. She redid it after i kept insisting i wasn't satisfied. Here am i not even a week later (got them done Friday) and had to schedule a lash appointment for this Thursday at another place. My right eye has almost no lashes left. Some lashes weren't applied straight so they look crazyyy. I wanted to like this place as it's close to my job and I'm a busy mom who commutes from far but it's not worth it. Update:::Instead of adapting a condescending tone towards your customers who are providing an honest review, how about you use the feedback provided and talk to your technicians and get to the bottom of the problem? Not completely liking the finished style is one thing but having 80% of your lashes fall not even a week later is a completely different type of dissatisfaction. In case you didn't understand my review, your technician was not too welcoming of me asking her to fix her work while I was there. Do you think that makes someone want to go back and risk wasting their time again? Like I already stated, I'm not. And i did go to another small business (today, not even a week later) where my time and business was valued. Thanks for your reply.

Quick and easy, I found this deal on Groupon $49 for 80pcs. Booking an appointment was super easy and I received text confirmation later that day. Christine also sends out her waiver forms via email which is a plus, no one likes filling out paperwork when arriving and it makes the overall experience expedited. She even called me directly to let me know that a spot opened up earlier and I was more than welcome to come in which I did. The facilities are super cute and clean. I loved the layout on how to pick out your style and length of lashes. They also do a small consult, checking your eyes to make sure you're getting the best length and style for your eye size. She encouraged me to upgrade to the 100pc set since I have almond shape eyes and they looked so sexy, perfect for my trip. After service you are given a care guide and an option to book your refill. I will definitely go back! I waited after my trip to post this review and my lashes are still intact even after going swimming at the beach! Thanks Christine!

I saw Christine Lash Studio's Groupon for $22 after the discount from the original price of $85 (the Groupon is now $39 because it is now off $160) for a set of 80 mink lashes (40 per eye) and decided to try it now. The location is in an apartment like building in Manhattan on the fourth floor. It is a Korean ran studio. The interior of Christine's Lash Studio was aesthetically pleasing and welcoming. I visited on a Thursday afternoon. I made an appointment at 2, but they told me it was actually at 12. I showed them the text message that I sent to make an appointment and they said they would be able to accommodate me. There were about 3 other people there when I entered. When I left there were even more. They gave me a page that showed the lengths and styles to choose from. The Korean lady that did my lashes was kind and patient as I kept blinking. The lady changed the sheet of where my foot was and they put my bag in a box. It was an easy 30-minute procedure and it was comfortable. I sat for about 30 minutes with my headphones on listening to music and time fly. My lashes looked luxurious and nice after. A couple of the lashes feel off within 24 hours, but they still looked nice. My experience was positive, however, my eyes were irritated after 3 or 4 days of having my eyelash extensions in even though I took care of them. I feel like something kept scratching me each time I blinked and wanted them off. None the less, they looked amazing and are pretty affordable. However, the refill prices are almost the same price of a new set. A new set is 59$ and a refill after 3 weeks is $55, so if you were to get refills after at the third week, it'd be better to get a new set. There is a removal fee of previous lashes for $20. Tl;dr - nice eyelashes, really fast and they look cute. A few fell off within 24hrs but they still looked nice. Would recommend for first timers as well as experienced people who have had eyelash extensions.

Today is like my 10th time at this place. I haven't been in years. I got a new set today. Disappointed. I wanted lashes for my bday in 2 days. I didn't have a Groupon deal btw. I have 80 pieces "super mink" and I wanted cat eye effect. All the lashes look the same length! it took 90mins. My natural lashes weren't even cleaned off with anything first before lashes were attached. Red flag. Lashes are sparse and spread apart. I will have to STILL wear strip lashes which is what I wanted to avoid. I'll pay more at Ebenezer and get better lashes and faster service!

After a traumatizing experience at another place, I told myself that I was just not going to do lashes anymore. However I took a leap of faith into Christine's lash studio and it was the best decision I've made! I am so happy with the outcome. The lashes feel totally light weight (you know how some lashes are SO heavy, it wears you out everytime you blink and it hurts?) and beautiful! I have EXTREMELY sensitive eyes. When I tell you sensitive I mean REALLY sensitive. However after I got my lashes done here my eyes were not red at all, and everything was done perfectly! They gave me all the tools I needed and everyone in the studio was helpful and extremely kind, they listened to all my concerns and needs. Also, kinda reiterating how I'm sensitive when people work on my lashes but when I got my lashes done here I totally fell asleep, and that's how peaceful this whole experience was. This is the only place I will go to for my lashes!!!! Thank you Christine Lash Studio :)

By far the worst lashes extensions I've ever had. Got it done on May 3rd and by May 6th, lashes were falling off drastically. The adhesive is crappy and it burns. I have never experienced a burning sensation ever elsewhere before. I did also notice other women sitting with mini pocket fans blowing on their faces. I guess due to the burn. I followed the rules, which are to not wash your face for 24 hours. Overall experience, the ladies are pleasant, and Christine is very sweet, smart and nice. Unfortunately, everyone else around her is trying to hustle you different prices, and are very happy if you don't use Groupon. Sure, the prices are cheaper but you get what you pay for, and end up paying more for it in the long run. FYI: Elle performed my lash extension. They'll probably just make up a lie and say that Elle no longer works there LOL. Make sure to do your research. I was curious about this place, however I now know that my normal place is far superior(LashLove). True test: I did my lashes for a Ski trip, and fell multiple times, the lashes stayed on for a bloody month.

My technician was so knowledgeable and gentle but efficient. I was in and out of a nap when my lashes were being done. They look fabulous! I looked in the mirror and couldn't believe how amazing they looked. Not only that, but I got it for a great deal on Groupon. I ended up buying some lash serum. I was so pleased with how my lashes looked, I tipped 25% of the full price. They were super busy when I came in for a 1pm appt, so I recommended making an appt. Update in response to comment: Apologies to Christine Lash Studio, I left their establishment on such a high note, and my experiences after leaving prompted me to write this review. She is right, the number of lashes was clearly discussed beforehand. I liked what I had before, I came in because they were just getting sparse. And I was recommended the luxury volume. But personally, $24 for 40 pieces/eye vs. $45 for 50 pieces/eye was a no brainer. Why would I pay double for luxury volume for only 10 more lashes? (Gotta read btwn the lines, bc Groupon advertises 80 vs 100 pieces without specifying whether its per eye or total). And I was advised that it would not look good to mix my already individual lashes with 3D lashes, so russian volume was out of the question. My gripe was that even if I had added only 40 lashes/eye, it should have looked more full than what I walked in with. My friends agreed that it looked less full, but this is a subjective statement I suppose. It could've been the length of the lashes, or the curl of the lashes, or the thickness of the lashes they use here. So many variables. I lost 12 lashes in a little over 24 hours. [Picture of fallen lashes attached]. If you also zoom in, not all the fake lashes fell out w my real lashes, so this is not natural. And tis also strange that most of the lashes fell out of my right eye and I look totally sparse and asymmetrical now. The groupon price [screenshot attached] was $24, but I was charged $29, hence my confusion. Lastly, there's no way I can prove my eye infection came from Christine Lash Studio. Bacteria are everywhere, and to be fair, the place did not look dirty and I did smell hand sanitizer at one point while my eyes were closed. This is TMI, but I took a shower the night before + morning of (bc I knew the lashes couldn't touch water for 24 hrs), rarely ever get pink eye, and no contact with another person with conjunctivitis. The only variable was that I got my lashes done, and got an eye infection the same day. I will refrain from scaring you guys w my eye infection photos. Five days later I have finally recovered. And all this trouble was not worth a $24 groupon deal, especially with no apologies from a very defensive establishment. *slap forehead*

Two stars is purely for the good customer service and the atmosphere. It's super duper cute and comfy in here. I've been getting lash extensions for years now and this is by far the worse place I've been to. I was hoping it's a hidden gem because it's literally one block away from my work place. On the day of when I came home to thoroughly check out my new lashes, I found out that my inner and outer corners were not extended with lashes. So it looked like I didn't even have lashes there which I do. I contacted them and they took forever to answer back but they were apologetic. I understand that it was a busy week for them because I'm sure a lot of ladies would want them done for Valentine's Day and lunar new year. Every single day lashes fell out like crazy. And I noticed that it was extremely poor application Some of the lashes were attached to the middle of my natural lash when it's supposed to be close to the lash line. It was in clumps as if she attached more than one lash to my lash. It's supposed to be one extension lash attracted to one real lash but that's not the case. I was going to reschedule to fix the inner and outer corners, but I don't think I will anymore because of the poor application. I do not want to ruin my natural lash because of this. And they charge $1/lash if you want to add more. I got the 80 piece off Groupon. I did not know it was 80 piece total. I honestly thought it was going to turn out more full like 80 pieces on each eye. Like what is 40 piece going to do to my lashes? Yeah I got it off Groupon for cheap but it does not mean you should lower your standards and do a sloppy job especially if you're dealing with someone's eyes. The girl who did it for me kept sighing as if she had a long day and just wanted to get her day over with a poor and fast application.

Wasted money, thankfully only a Groupon. The staff was friendly, but less than two days later, many of the lashes on my left eye had fallen off and the lack of balance was quite obvious. By day four, both my eyes had sporadic, sparse lashes. Honestly, it was embarrassing. Those are results I typically expect after two+ weeks, not four days. All instructions were followed (not my first extensions and I was up all night day one, so I didn't sleep on them). It took only 60 seconds with a makeup remover wipe to rid myself of the last remaining lashes. Whatever adhesive they use here is sadly subpar. And since I was traveling for events and appearances, I had to rush out to find mascara. Unfortunately can't recommend this place.

I initially learned about this studio on Groupon and decided to give them a try. I initially had some difficulty getting someone on the phone, so I sent a message and got a response within 24 hours. That was nice. I responded to schedule my appointment on the next available date (4 days later). BUT I wanted to get them done sooner, so I called again and got an appointment the same day! I was very happy they could take me. I think they're really busy because they're new and have such great deals. SCHEDULING - 8/10. The studio itself was chic! I was greeted upon entering the studio and given the paperwork to complete and sat on a very chic and comfortable couch. Nicely decorated, attractive young and professional staff, and clean rooms. ONE THING, there is an elevator in the building with a sign that suggested i could use it to get to the actual lash studio -- I rang for the elevator and stood waiting for literally 3 minutes and then had to walk up the 4 flights. AESTHETICS - 10/10. I feel silly but I don't know the name of the woman who did my lashes but she was great. She may have been the owner, but she was the only person there who I saw who may have been over 40 (she definitely wasn't an old woman, just older than the others) and she seemed very experienced. I got Russian 3D lashes (100 pieces) in "sexy" shape and in length 13. I actually meant to ask for 11-12-13 so J could enjoy the length for going out but also be appropriate for work, but I didn't communicate that well (and I only realized that AFTER she had finished my set, but they look great so I'm more than satisfied). She was gentle and hygienic, the only think I should have suggested is that i wanted my lashes to flare OUT (which is what I thought "sexy" was) instead of forward. LASH SERVICE - 9/10 Prior to the service, I was offered the opportunity to upgrade the number of pieces for $10 which was tempting! But I wanted to see what the 100 would look like on me first. Honestly, the 100 are perfect for the shape/size/length of my eyes, but I'm sure they were placed so well because of the amazing technical skill of the woman I had. I was also offered information about facials and other services which was helpful. I was given a brush, care instructions, and a coupon for $5 off! Handy and highly appreciated. Also, the TAX was included in the cost of the service, which was great. I've been surprised by other studios even after using a Groupon. OVERALL EXPERIENCE - 9/10

I had found out about this spot from Groupon . I ended up getting the Russian volume lashes . Calling and making the appointment was a breeze and the phone girl was very friendly and informative . I made an appointment for 4 pm and got there about 10 min early . As I sit here writing this review , it's been about an hour that I have been waiting - completely annoying . Probably will be taking off a star because of that . When I finally did get called , the lady was really sweet and apologized for the wait which was nice . She even offered to put in some extra eyelashes . The technician was great and and I napped while she did the eyelashes . However I paid for Russian volume and I have done it many times at different places . This was not Russian volume it was about 60 individual lashes which I found out when they began to fall out in individual pieces and not volume . They lasted about five days before falling out and I took care of them properly If you want them to last , go elsewhere . read more

Be very careful. Place is a scam, want you to pay more or did not accept your Groupon and asked for more money. The owner is extremely sneaky and want you to pay as much as she wants you to . I would definitely go else where since there are so many great lash places in midtown that does a good job . I consider myself lucky that I didn't end up with her scam . Being an owner Christine should know how to keep a repeat client. I would not recommend this place . Maybe that's why she needs to post her business in Groupon read more

Christine lash, is the best eye lash salon in nyc. They are professional friendly and Genuine. I have tried many of their technician and each one of them was professional nice and accommodating, I get a lot of compliments about my eyelashes being natural and beautiful, Christine is very sweet always smile on her face and always ready to answer any question you might have. I have been addicted to coming to Christine Lash Studio! They have an array of lash options you can choose from so that you can pic the curl of the lash, the volume and the length. If you don't know where to start on your first visit, you can sit down with them for a consultation and they'll guide you. I recommend booking in advance bc it does get busy and if you're being squeezed in there will be a wait but I always leave satisfied. It's recommended to go every to weeks for a fill in but they last even longer. They also do other services that I haven't experienced like facials and microblading read more

Solid experience at Christine's Lash Studio. I used a Groupon for my first visit but I'm retrospect, their early bird special is a pretty good deal as well. The studio was very clean and relaxing. The technicians were also very gentle and detailed in explaining the different lashes to me. On the second day when I noticed some of the lashes were already falling out, i quickly contacted the studio and they were able to do a quick refill the next day. Place is very pretty I must say that. Decorated nicely, different rooms so you're not overcrowded. Very clean as well. But prices even with the groupon is too high for their service. They don't do individual one by one lashes. They mix them up with the cluster of three lashes. So as it may look very full when you're done if a cluster falls out, there are huge gaps. They also work too slow for them to not do individual ones. read more

I came to Christine Lash after the previous studio I was going to closed. My first visit I used the Groupon Voucher & got the Russian Volume set. It was $65 and there is a $6 Groupon tax you pay at the studio which is not mentioned on Groupon . I was paired with Lee. He did an AMAZING job . He took his time which I really appreciated. The results were perfect ! Today I went back for a 3 week fill in. When I called to make the appointment I requested Lee again which they said wasn't a problem. Unfortunately when I came in they paired me with another technician named Gina. When I stated that I requested Lee they informed me that he wasn't in today but to give Gina a try. I needed my lashes done for birthday and couldn't wait so I went ahead with Gina. Now as I stated above I got a three week Russian volume refill. Three weeks is pretty much a new set. Gina finished in 40 mins. Which is very fast considering this was pretty much a new set. I've gotten my lashes done before and a fill in at three weeks has taken about an hour & 15mins. When she finished there was an eyelash that was poking my right eye and it wouldn't stop tearing up . When I told the front desk they took me back to Gina who fixed it. It hurt as she had to remove some of the freshly applied lashes . OUCH. She stated that since my eyes were small the Russian volume lashes are too heavy to apply at the ends of my eye and instead she replaced it with single lashes. As a lash tech I would think that she would have known this from the beginning but nevertheless it was fixed and felt better. I paid and as I was headed out I could feel some of the lashes on the right eye felt stiff. When I looked closely in a mirror downstairs I realized she used too much glue on the same eye :( Good thing is you can't see the glue too much. I guess now they're extra secured haha but this something Gina should be mindful of. I assume she was in a rush because as I was leaving she was headed out as well. Overall I am still pleased with Christine Lash Studio but would certainly go to Lee only. read more

The place is very quiet and I was able to relax while I got my extensions placed. It was a quick and smooth consultation and application. The only issue that I had was that the fumes from the glue slightly burned my eyes for a few seconds, but this went away once I sat with the hand fan for a few minutes afterwards and the glue completely dried. read more

I love how the lashes feel everything was so nice I felt very welcomed. However, I didn't like my lash tech. I feel like the process was very rushed and it doesn't feel like I have 120 lashes on. aside from that the entire time my eyes were burning while the process I have gotten my lashes done a lot of times this was the first time my eyes burned so much. I just think it was the tech who didn't do it properly. I recommend people to go there for sure and I will go back too just not the same lash tech that's all read more

This was my second lash extension experience. I went for the 80 piece mink lash set. I had to pay $20 extra to get my old lashes off and they recommended size 14 which was way too natural because of the size of my eyes. Right after i was done my corner lashes fell off. Thankfully their customer service was alright because they accommodated me right away with another technician. But about a week after I went back because it felt like they were falling off too easy for the amount I paid. When I went back they filled it in and added size 14 lashes as well of course with extra charge. That looked very natural and gorgeous. I made my 1st review not to long ago on here and now I'm back because I'm very unhappy. Today is the 4th day with these lashes on and already they are fall off and looking crazy. I feel like I waisted my money & my time (35min). The lashes are falling off, they are spaced out & they are very very thin (not full) it looks incomplete and now I just feel like taking them off due to them falling off anyway......smh! I've been here quite a few times already. I'm a person who's had their eyelashes done religiously for the past 4 years. I've gone to multiple places around the city in search for the "best" place. I wouldn't say this is the "best" place however, I will say that they are decent in price and their individual lashes have last me the longest. I have sometimes gone almost a month before getting them re-filled and at that point you need to pay full a full new set, which is fine. I prefer that then having to go every 2 or 3 weeks for a refill. The reason why I'm giving this place 4 instead of 5 stars is because I think their lash Techs are kind of rude. This was my first time getting eyelash extensions so I was a little nervous but the ladies at Christine Lash Studio were so nice and patiently explained the different varieties of looks that I could get. I wound up doing the Luxury Volume Lash in "Cute" with a mix of 11-12 length. My technician, Jessie, was wonderful! She took her time putting on the lashes and didn't rush the session. I kept falling asleep, I was so relaxed! I had purchased a Groupon for 50 lashes per eye but Jessie put on much more so that it would look better - very professional and considerate of her. I loved the end result and will definitely return! I deducted one star because a bunch of lashes fell off within the first two days - probably from sleeping on them. I had purchased a Groupon for the voluminous lashes with a cat eye shape. The technician did the best he could to put the lashes throughout my natural eye shape but the lashes were either too long or just not mink because it wasn't showing up On my face. HOWEVER, my technician did do the BEST he could because he spent extra time with me to look through my lashes to try to find the right positions to put them. My set ended up taking a lot longer than a friend of mine who had gone in with me. I know that Groupons usually last half the time regular customers get but if you're just nice to the technicians you'll have a good experience in most places!!! read more

I came here a couple days ago and got the full set of cashmere super mink 80 piece set. But upon inspection, nothing about the lash feels like cashmere or mink. False advertisement. Yes, the lashes doesn't feel heavy on the eye but it feels plasticy and rough. I was under the impression that the lash quality would be better. The way that the lashes were applied was also a missed. The lash technician had my head tilting to the side and because of that, the application looks slanted (pic for reference). Please! Do not try microblading eyebrows here! I tried to get my done and i was the bigger mistake ever and lost my time and my money! I went back for a second visit and I was they didn't have the color to fix it. I was scheduled for another appointment. I requested a refund for some of the money paid. ($300) and i was told they were unable to do that. I have been going here for over a year. Their prices are not insane like most lash places in midtown. Their techs are for the most part amazing. I have had lashes last 6 weeks from this place and very rarely have a less than perfect experience. But I will say that every once in a while I'll get a subpar set of lashes, maybe twice in 12 months. But I keep going back because they listen to me and make it right, also I highly recommend their lash serum! I love this lash studio! I have done the full tour of New York lash spots through Groupon deals. I found Christine and haven't gone anywhere else. After a simple consultation and looking at some photo examples, I chose the 80 piece, sexy look. The lashes are so soft, (super mink) and natural feeling and looking. They lasted for over 3 weeks which is much longer and way better quality than other places I've tried. I have had lashes done elsewhere that felt plasticky and hard, they hurt my eyelids when I touched them or rested on my side or on a pillow. The lashes from Christine feel like I'm wearing nothing on my eyes. I have very few, short lashes and this is a great alternative to wearing makeup everyday. They honor the Groupon price every time I come and the studio is a relaxing, air conditioned, cute space to chill out in the city. I had gotten extensions in the past which looked great, but extensions are uncomfortable, I can't sleep on my face without stressing, and they're a lot of maintenance. A lash lift isn't as life changing as extensions, but it certainly makes a difference if you have some decent natural lashes to start (the real flex would be using latisse for a couple months, and then getting a lash lift). I saw Annie and made an appointment a couple days in advance online. It's around $150 for a lift and tint which honestly feels like a lot. However, it takes the technician more than an hour to complete, and I could tell Annie was doing very thorough and careful job. The end result was great. I chose the L curve which is the most lift. All my lashes are evenly lifted and uniform. When I actually have mascara on I'm sure the results will be much more dramatic. It will last for 5-7 weeks - I definitely plan on adding this into my routine every couple of months.

What can I say... I am in love with my new lashes from Christine's Lash Studio! The moment I walked into the studio, I was blown away by the decor and overall atmosphere! The studio is so clean and the waiting area was so cute and cozy! I absolutely love the staff here, they are very welcoming and explained every step of the process. I have gotten my lashes done before at other locations, but this studio is definitely top notch in customer service and overall experience! I really felt at home and it was relaxing! As for the lashes, I asked for something more on the conservative side and I got just that with an added flare which I love! Best lash salon ever! Had such a great experience. Very clean and nice salon. All the girls that work here are sweethearts also which gives a soothing feel to the salon.
