At about 4 pm I had to try to circle the block and find parking so Dan took the boys inside to pick what they wanted but Dan kept saying afterward they had almost nothing left to sell. He was annoyed they don't have more stock. We did get 1 lemon bar for me. 3 cupcakes, an apple turnover, and 2 sugar cookies It was all delicious as usual. Best cupcakes I've ever had. We like the lemon and red velvet. They were out of vanilla and others. Maybe it's like the donut shops where toward the end of the day most the items are sold out. That's my assumption. To start fresh tomorrow. I crave those lemon cupcakes and lemon bars.

This is a unique place as it's 3 escape rooms inside of a very good bakery so you can have your cake and eat it to. We were greeted right away upon arrival and got started, we tackled all 3 of their rooms and were not only successful on all 3 but made the leaderboard for one. Here's a quick breakdown of the rooms. Academic Misconduct is very well setup and the rooms flows well. It can be a little difficult with the lighting in the room but we figured it out, they had some unique puzzles too that we really enjoyed. Confectionary Conspiracy is a very unique room, we haven't really done anything like it. There were some great puzzles, very immersive atmosphere and just a very well put together room. Sorro Bay is terrific, it was my favorite of the day the way the room progressed and the combination of puzzles and tricks in that room. It combined a lot of unique elements and added up to a ton of fun. The rooms were fantastic, if you haven't visited I highly recommend you do. Savannah was our GM and she's one of the best we've ever had. The way she presents the rooms is so great and she had us laughing through the day. Savannah is the kind of employee all escape rooms should strive for. Ending note, the macarons were delicious, we had the PB&J and Neapolitan ones and they were so so good.

The only slightly awkward part at first was figuring out when we were supposed to come in because we were told not to enter more than 10 minutes before the session, so it felt a little unclear whether we should wait outside or come in. Not a huge deal, just a slightly awkward first impression. The employee who explained the locks and how things worked was excellent -- super friendly, upbeat, and helpful. Then we were brought into the room by another employee who stayed in character while explaining the story, which really added to the experience. I went in without huge expectations and had never done an escape room before, but it completely surprised me in the best way. The room was smaller than I expected, but the experience itself was incredibly creative and immersive. There were so many unexpected moments and surprises throughout the game that made it genuinely exciting and memorable. We didn't even finish our room, and I already want to come back and try again, plus try some of the other rooms too. Afterward, we got cookies and desserts, and they were fantastic. The cheesecake cookie with frosting, the macaron, and the white chocolate macadamia cookie with sea salted caramel were all really good. My kids loved them too. The only reason I'm mentioning this last part is because the rest of the experience was so good that it stood out: the interaction when we were leaving felt a little abrupt and uncomfortable. It seemed like the employee helping the next group may have been stressed or rushed, but the tone came across a bit curt and made us feel like we needed to leave immediately rather than relax and enjoy the shop afterward. A warmer, more welcoming checkout experience would really elevate the overall experience from great to exceptional. Overall though, we had a really fun time and would absolutely come back.

So buttery, rich, dense, delicious cookie, perfect in the original formula of sweet/buttery/salt/texture. I still resisted, but wife broke down immediately and we walked out with 2 packs, lol. Think of Brown Butter Cookie as the cookie version of See's Candy's, or a drug dealer, lol. Free sample, since they are all confident you will find it to be awesome and be hooked! The first thing that hit as we entered the store was the smell of waffle cones! Wife immediately said we need to get waffle cones. Friendly young folks helped with samples and order. Got a cone to share with salted brown sugar & wife always chooses coffee. Both were delicious, creamy, superb quality, and very easy to digest, lol! Even my kid who usually doesn't eat regular ice cream went for the waffle cone with a cookie flavor and he ate it all by himself and loved it! He did not eat any other ice cream during spring break, and he still wants to have this sheep milk ice cream again. Something about sheep milk is just gentler on the body. Should have bought the kid Negranti again on the way down from Paso, when passing thru SLO. Oh well, if don't come back to Paso, maybe will have to get him if we ever go to Phoenix, AZ since I found a location there of all places! Allow me to explain. It could be cuter -- see Just Baked. It could be nicer -- feels like a donut shop. It could be better prices -- each delicacy is $4 (small) to $9 (larger) each. I've gone inside a handful of times to bring some to a dinner function with friends, and walked away half of the time -- just toooooo pricey.

Lots of space, people sitting and having conversations, and a greeting from the Barista the second I walked through the door. I went with my standard iced oat milk latte with honey and a triple shot and it was perfect. I wish I could have drank it there because the inside of the shop seemed like a place you could hang out for a while. Unfortunately, I had to take it on the road, but that is a shop (if I lived in that area) I would drive out of my way to get to. Well done guys!

Not at all a concise concept, Rings along the back-wall difficult to decipher and those in the case varying significantly, arrival at 8:49am on Sunday oddly found many choices "sold out," though finding an alternative isn't so hard when such abundance is available. Friendly in terms of service, Mother's Day seeing several decorative options offered, $3.95 for a simple glazed Ring with a dollop of Oreo Cream feels expensive considering all three Yeasted options were no better than those yielded by commercial pre-Mix in terms of consistency. Equally unimpressed by the Fritter, even a small chunk of Apple hard to find, SloDoCo's Cruller performs well with a light and custard-y center while Blueberry Cake fares far better than a bone-dry Old-Fashioned cogwheel that may as well have been day-old.
