We're always on the hunt for a new breakfast spot or a good breakfast burrito when in Paso. I'd come across this bakery and was thrilled with all the rave reviews and many mentions of breakfast burritos. We had some early wine tastings booked and weren't super hungry yet, so I ended up picking a Chorizo breakfast burrito for two of us to share. It was definitely a good sized burrito and one would have been more than enough, but I think next time we would each opt for our own if we were even a little bit more hungry. The burrito was good and a very reasonable price. Loved the flavorful chorizo. They had a good self serve bakery section of pan dulce.

    Amazing prices!

When the people who work there are as nice as the food is tasty, it is a winning combination! Paso Robles Bakery was a pit stop for breakfast, snacks and coffee, and we are glad we chose a local shop than a chain! The man who worked there was so friendly and helped me pick out some Mexican pastries. The prices were amazingly reasonable, especially considering how they are all baked fresh. We picked out Mexican baked goods as well as a couple breakfast burritos. The burritos were GIGANTIC and came with some fresh salsa. They were delicious, hot, and truly "hit the spot"! (Ooh that rhymed!) Supporting local businesses is the way to go!

Finding reasonably priced food in Paso is nearly impossible so you'll be happy to know that this place exists! The place itself is in the far north part of town. It's clean and bright inside with delicious lookin pan dulce on display and the menu shown above. The gentleman at the front was pleasant enough but the burrito I got was the star here. Filled fat with the perfect ingredients, carnitas, avocado, sour cream, rice and beans all wrapped up perfectly. It probably weighed two pounds!

Super great bakery in Paso Robles -- no frills, no nonsense, zero ambience but the pan dulce and breakfast burritos? SO good. The price is very reasonable . The breakfast burrito will fill you up for the entire day. It has creamy beans, eggs, bacon with the most amazing flour tortilla you've ever eaten. If you're planning on a big day at the wineries and need to fill your stomach with something to absorb all the wine to follow, definitely check this place out. I recommend take out as there is only one small table here.

Was passing through Paso Robles and found this spot on a whim. The guy who helped us was super nice and helped us choose some cookies. Also the burritos were amazing. We got a chorizo breakfast burrito and a carne asada super burrito. The super burrito was huge and came with bomb salsas!

Possibly the best carnitas torta I've ever eaten. My boyfriend and I stopped by on Monday for a quick bite before a wine tasting. They have fresh pan dulce and other bites here. The gentleman at the front was very friendly, he let us sample the carnitas and OMG melt in your mouth good. My boyfriend got a machaca breakfast burrito and I got the carnitas torta. From the pan dulce to the fresh bolio on the torta 10/10. I wish we lived closer since this was hands down the best food we've eaten. Couldn't recommend more!

I had not heard of this bakery until I went to a wine event that sourced cookies from here for one of their wine pairings. The cookie was called canela shortbread....I loved it so much I asked about the source. I recently went in the bakery to inquire about ordering two batches, each for Thanksgiving and Christmas. The front staff was very accommodating and the price (for both orders, plus a bag of about 8-9 cookies to take home) was INCREDIBLY reasonable. These cookies just melt in your mouth...great with a cup of coffee or tea (or wine, apparently). Since I don't have time to do my usual holiday cookie baking this year, these are going out with some homemade Bailey's Irish Cream to some lucky friends. Their pan Dulce selection looks great. Based on reviews, it sounds like their pan dulce and breakfast/lunch selections are as delicious as these cookies. Worth the drive from South Atascadero to North Paso any day!

Pan Dulce, and breakfast burritos are a big hit here but this time we tried the pan Dulce. My kiddos enjoyed the fresh made pan Dulce. Breakfast burritos are made fresh upon ordering from what we saw as we looked around. Prices for pan Dulce are reasonable as we purchased two for under $7. They have seating inside as well and hot coffee. Staff was friendly and inside was clean, and organized.

Great quality food and received good service! Appreciated their piping hot homemade tortillas and meats. Enjoyed their tacos, breakfast burrito and menudo. Will definitely be back again, come check them out. Perfect pickup for our drive back home to the Bay Area since it's close to the freeway.

Never disappoints. Sprinkle cookies, Mexican pastries, carnitas by the pound. Wish I'd been hungry, but skipped the burrito this time.

My boss told me of this places a year ago and tonight was the night to check it out. The Sprinter is too big for the parking lot so I parked around the corner on Ysable St. by the coffee place. I walked in and saw the five flat screens showing pre season nfl football. Okay I'm here...A great counter Ashley greeted me and three very large flat screen menus hung above. The Ashley handed me a menu, thank you. I see a brick fired oven just behind the counter. Now I could go into detail about the counter but that would spoil it for you. Beer and wines are featured, good ones too. They pretty much have it all here, really. I ordered a small garden salad tossed with blue cheese, no housemade dressings here. An individual 9" pie, a favorite "the Rustic Carnivore". The next size up was 11". I grabbed a Tropical Iced tea and found a hi-top placed front and center with the screen. I went to the restroom, washed up and my salad was being delivered. My pizza showed up as I was nearly done with the salad oh yea. The Pie was cut in fourths, so it was a folded slice to eat, that works. Very Good, good coverage on toppings, sauce was flavorful and it was oven hot WoW I was impressed, as I was enjoying, the rest of the crowd showed up for pizza. Nice timing foodguy. Check it out, Thanks martin foodguy

But if you're planning a visit, build in serious buffer time. We stopped in on Memorial Day and, with several parties ahead of us in line, didn't place our order until nearly 20 minutes after arriving. By the 45-minute mark, our food still hadn't come out for two paninis and a soup. What made it especially frustrating was watching parties who arrived after us get their cheese orders and drinks served before anyone had even started assembling our sandwiches. It was clear the shop was understaffed for the holiday weekend, with one person managing the counter and another in the back prepping. We ended up asking to take the sandwiches cold just to get out the door, only to have both stuffed into one small bag, sloppily wrapped. The soup, unfortunately, came out lukewarm regardless. None of this felt malicious. The shop has an unhurried, artisanal quality that's part of its appeal, but that can't fully account for the gap between the experience and a nearly hour-long wait for a simple lunch order while others moved ahead of us. Come for the cheese, come for the atmosphere. Just don't come hungry with anywhere to be.
