    Cinnamon Roll

Cute bakery in Paso Robles! All of the baked goods looked delicious and there was a mix of breakfast danishes and desserts available in addition to hot foods. We tried the cinnamon roll which was very filling with a hefty topping of cream cheese frosting- it was fantastic! Also tried the mocha and dirty chai which had a milder flavor profile compared to others we've tried (not as chocolatey/spiced). All employees were very polite and accommodating.

Located off Niblick, in the shopping center across the street from Walmart, is Cider Creek Bakery. Plenty of parking. Plenty of seating. Always welcoming! We went at the end of the day and thank God, they still had a good selection. We got the Caramel Apple Pie. This pie is awesome. Beautiful, fresh, cooked down apples, seasoned perfectly. A layer of soft, sticky, gooey caramel, blanketed above the apple filling. Sweet and toasty. Finished with a crumble/dusting layer on top. Different textures add to the bite! Always wonderfully done! *Consistency is what separates perfection*

Good grub!! I have been making the rounds of the local bakeries lately, and since we were headed up north to Mission San Antonio, we decided to take a picnic lunch. We needed a place with lunch as well as baked goods and this place filled the bill. My husband got the T.A.P. sandwich with turkey, ham and pepper jack cheese on a bun, while I ordered the BBQ chicken salad. His sandwich was fine, but the bread to meat ratio leaned toward the bready. My salad was just sad. I was glad I got a half salad since it was just a bed of Romaine lettuce with a bit of diced onion, tomato, and bacon, some shredded cheddar and a very small portion of the BBQ chicken, which was the best part of the salad. The dressing was ok. In sharp contrast, the baked goods were off the rails good. The raspberry pillow was like a mini pie, while the apple "flip" which was what is called a "hand pie" in the South, was what every McDonald's Apple Pie dreamed of someday growing up to be. The S'mores cupcake was rich sweet and gooey, everything you want in a decadent desert. If we stop in again, it will be to scoop up some baked treats for another travel adventure.

Today was so disappointing!!! Maybe I'm just having a bad day because there's no way this poor excuse of a salad brought me to tears. I dropped $25 here and I didn't even take a bite of my salad. The lettuce was so old I didn't want to risk the stomach ache! I was so hungry too!!! I'm sad!!! The overly sweet berry pie didn't help. I just took the crust off the top. Crust was yummy! UGH!!!!!! No thank you!

I was happy that their sign was nice and big, it took me a while to locate the building.

I had been thrifting around Paso Robles and the gals at the Church Thrift store up above Niblick told me about this Bakery. A bit difficult to find based on the lady's directions, but once I put the address into my navigation on my phone I finally found it. There were quite a few folks ordering, some bicyclists and a family or two along with some singletons like me. The shop is very inviting, with lots of jams on the walls and baked goods in their cases. Not everything was labeled so I had to ask about a couple of them. It took me a while to read through their menu, which was arranged oddly. I finally decided on one of their special sandwiches that sounded interesting. It was basically a bacon, cheese, and apple sandwich with some sort of fancy sauce. I asked for mayo to be added and also some turkey for more protein. It came on sourdough bread and I got some chips as well. I also ordered a soda, which only came in a smallish cup. Since she prepared it before my food was ready I asked if I could get a refill before I left. My order was to-go. It took a long time to come out, probably about 20 minutes. I approached the counter just before they brought it out and had to stand there several minutes while the young folks behind the counter ate snacks, looked at their phone, and chatted with one another. I was standing there for about 5 minutes before finally she came over and I asked for a top-off to my soda. In my mind I had an idea of what it should taste like, but when I finally ate the sandwich I was really disappointed. I don't recall that the menu indicated this was going to be a hot sandwich!! Basically it was a grilled cheese sandwich with bacon, apple slices, and the turkey I added. The outside was nicely grilled with butter. But the inside was not what I had imagined. The bread was dry, even though I asked for mayo in addition to the fancy sauce. The flavor of the cheese didn't go with the apples. I ate it but was not impressed. I don't know if I would come here again, perhaps if I am in this area I might try some of their baked goods or a different sandwich.

After 7 months traveling in the Pacific Northwest, I was desperate for a good breakfast burrito. This was one of the first places to come up in my search. The BB was good but it had an uneven distribution of eggs/potatoes/sausage. Nevertheless, it hit the spot. They even had tapatio packets. I also picked up some baked goodies and they were all delicious!

Previously operating her own daycare, test batches of Bread developed after an internet search often finding their way home with pupils and their parents, July 2025 finally saw Kopper open up shop at 1306 Pine Street where her goods now frequently sell-out daily. Working exclusively with a Sourdough starter named Dough-Rita, even Black Sheep's Cookies subject to traditional fermentation, guests now will find both sweet and savory treats alongside full loaves with clever names like "The Basic B" and "Mob Boss." Originally sold at the Paso Robles Farmers Market, opening of a storefront delayed as she relied on friends and family for everything from paint to plumbing, May 2026 now sees Paula regularly trying new things ranging from hefty Cinnamon Rolls to an absolutely stellar Sourdough Blondie that starts sweet and sticky before dissipating with an almost boozy sort of linger. Leaning into the "Black Sheep" name with some clever signage, a Sourdough "Cinny Roll" weighty beneath tangy Icing, those looking for something breakfast-y will note Scones and "Breaky Bombs," or their sweet brethren called "Lachee" filled with Fruit and Cream Cheese riffing on Czech Kolaches.

The food was outstanding, the prices were very reasonable, and the service couldn't have been friendlier. We ordered three breakfast burritos--one with each type of meat--and every single one was delicious. It's hard to pick a favorite because they were all packed with flavor. The salsa was fresh, spicy, and had just the right amount of kick. We also picked up a Mexican pastry, which was the perfect way to finish breakfast. The staff was incredibly welcoming and friendly...even if they were Dodgers fans! As a loyal San Diego Padres fan, I had to give them a little grief, but they took it in stride and made us feel right at home. It's refreshing to find a place that serves high-quality food without charging outrageous prices. If you're in Paso Robles and looking for a great breakfast, this bakery should absolutely be on your list. I'll definitely be stopping by again the next time I'm in town.

I ordered the chorizo breakfast burrito with added potatoes. To put it simply: it was amazing. Every single ingredient in this burrito works in absolute harmony. To be fair, we did order a latte, so that is partly expected. The breakfast sandwich was good but a little underseasoned and could have used a bit more flavor overall.
