Simply put, this family-owned business is amazing both for their product AND customer service. They've kept us coming back for the last 4 years. Mom's is lucky to have the high ceilings, where a typical 7-8 footer would look lonely. Lol DeAndre and William did a great job of delivering the tree, (my days of moving those kind of trees died 4 years ago!) and Dana (Dan's daughter) is the maestro on the phone handling deliveries and other communication. When I tell you they consistently obtain trees of superior quality for more affordable prices, it's no exaggeration. I'm a fan of any family owned business, and it just so happens that this one is black owned. If our health holds up for another year, will certainly be back! We came late on a Saturday and a lot of trees were sold, but there was still a good amount of inventory. This was the first week in December, so they're busy. We chatted with the owner's son who said his dad has been in business over 40 years! They're get inventory from Canada and Oregon, among other places. Friendly service and reasonable prices. You can pay cash or card, which is great. We got a Doug fir for $55. The re-usable base was $30. They also sell single use bases for $10. They strapped the tree to the roof of our car, laying down cardboard first as to not scratch it. Enjoyed the experience overall. This will be our go-to place. If you want to shop local instead of a big store, check out Dan's.

And when it was delivered I asked if the guy could help me with the placement in the stand too, which he did! Best money well spent! Also, I went ahead down the street to price compare with another tree lot and this place seem less expensive. Also, I feel like the guys here really care about these trees. Each one that has been unraveled was in a stand that had water in it, keeping the tree healthy longer. The other places didn't do that; they had their stumps on the ground or rebars nailed into them for makeshift stands. I think the water stands is definitely ideal, but what do I know? But what I do know is our family has an incredible, gorgeous 8' Christmas tree now and I was able to get it to our home without my husband's help. Win win!

That said, our tree we have is still very pretty and we were given a baby wreath as an apology from the other staff. There are options of all sizes and many colors of flocked trees. I've never seen a tree flocked red and even though it looked a little as if it could have been in a gore flick, it was still really cool. Prices are better than the place on La Cienega, but all tree lots are outrageously priced in my opinion. However, I also don't know what drives up prices... so maybe the prices are going rate.

This place is like the AAA of Christmas trees meets Saks Fifth Ave, with the kindest, most compassionate staff you will ever meet. They have rescued me TWO years in a row and not just with their gorgeous trees, but with their unbelievable customer service. Last year, a tree (don't try to put a tree stand on yourself at home!) fell on me. I called Mr. Jingles in a panic and they immediately came to help and fixed everything like heroes. This year, I bought a tree somewhere else and discovered I was allergic to it -- Mr. Jingles delivered me a drop dead gorgeous hypoallergenic tree by the next morning. Who does that? Seriously. This year has been especially hard for me due to a bad accident that left me temporarily handicapped. Once again, the Mr. Jingles team showed up with so much heart and care. Layla was incredibly warm and made sure I was connected to the right people. Alex spent an entire hour on the phone setting up a replacement for a tree I DIDN'T EVEN BUY FROM THEM -- and had a fresh, hypoallergenic tree delivered to me within 12 hours. He is one of the kindest humans I've ever met. Trey came to remove the old tree, installed the new one perfectly, placed the star, watered it, and even swept up all the needles. This is a family-run business with stunning trees, hypoallergenic options, and genuinely good people behind it. Every year, they prove why they're the top Christmas tree lot in West LA.
