The receptionist and front office staff are wonderful as well. They work hard to be sure we are getting the most out of my insurance. I have a particularly special prescription in one of my eyes, and this makes my yearly lenses rather pricey, so any help I can get on making sure my insurance pays what it is supposed to pay is great. Making appointments are easy and hassle free as well. Highly recommended! I wouldn't trust my vision to anyone but Dr. Sharon Billingsley, and I haven't for over 2 decades.

Not only did the tech who asked me to sign consent to the procedure refuse to go over the risks of the surgery with me, but no one ever mentioned that the procedure might not work. It did not, because the chalazions returned 2 weeks post-op. Worse, the doctor nicked my eye with a scalpel during the procedure, which caused a HUGE hemorrhage. My entire eye was almost black, filled with blood for weeks. It is 2 months later and I still have a streak of yellow and a red spot in my eye. The practice manager said she would call me back when I called with my concerns, and despite my following up, she never got back to me. Do not go here. They are unethical and unprofessional.

They are IN NETWORK on my insurance. They charged me $45 that day, and today I received a bill for $150 more to be paid. The total charge for a standard eye exam for contact lenses was $483.00!!!!!! FOUR HUNDRED EIGHTY THREE!!! I have a $10 co-pay on an eye exam. And they have billed me $195. Thank goodness my insurance covered some of the charges. I can't imagine if I didn't have coverage! I must return to pick up my contacts and hopefully the new ones are correct. I can't imagine what I will be charged if I need an adjusted prescription! Once I am all set with contacts I will NEVER use this group again. My husband has also been a patient of this group in the past but will find a new provider for his exam this year. Dr. Cunningham did cataract surgery on my left eye. That didn't work for me so I had to have Lasix…read moresurgery. Dr. Cunningham and 2 ladies came in the surgery room, Dr. Cunningham let on of the women do the Lasix surgery ended up getting a very bad infection in it so I had to go to the Dr every 3 days to see if it was getting well. I'm still having issues from the eye surgery it caused several issues that I deal with daily because of Dr. Cunningham negligence.

My aunt was to get cataract surgery and ended up with shingles in her left eye (10 out of 10 do NOT recommend) she's 86 and been going through this for 2 months. I personally love the staff and love Angie. My aunt sadly is never happy, but tries to be so sweet. He explains himself thoroughly. His techs are so professional, caring and down right NICE. He is semi retiring ( hiking the Appalachian trail woohoo), a young fabulous doctor is taking over. Dr Gallaher, I have also worked with him and he will be a fantastic addition!
