Staff were very friendly and attentive. Orders were taken quickly & efficiently. Building had lots of parking, but not recommended for RVs. Interior was very nice, old school cafe look. Food had a great taste & plenty of it. Very much an older clientele. Lots of room for a large group, if you call ahead. This is a busy place. Give them a shot.

Christy Mae's is another New Mexico classic that brings back wonderful memories for me. As a child, I remember the little treasure chest where you could pick out a small toy after your meal, and that sense of nostalgia always comes rushing back when I dine here as an adult. I especially enjoy ordering the classic grilled cheese and soup--perfectly named the Cold Day Warmer. Their spiced iced tea is another favorite of mine. The appetizers are solid as well, particularly the chips and queso and the fried combo with mozzarella sticks and zucchini. The cornbread is delicious, and the burgers are consistently good. While prices have gone up over the years and we don't dine here as often as we once did, I still appreciate the classic old-country atmosphere, complete with vintage memorabilia lining the walls. Service is generally consistent, which adds to the overall comfort and familiarity of the experience. Christy Mae's remains a place that feels like home, blending good food with cherished memories.

Hubby and I came on a cold evening. I wanted comfort food, and we got a warm hug in the cozy down home dining room with Cracker Barrel Style vibes, but unique to Christie's. We were served by a young, personable and attentive waiter who confirmed the chicken pot pie was as excellent choice. Everything was fantastic! 5/5 will return

I lived in Albuquerque for ten years before moving to Los Angeles. This week I worked in Albuquerque, so I decided to visit my favorite restaurants, if they were still there. Christy Mae's is still there, still wonderful, and still a favorite. I used to eat at this wonderful place once a week and I wish I could still do that. The service is always great and efficient. There is definitely something on this menu that will satisfy you, because Christy Mae's specializes in comfort foods like chicken pot pie, chicken fried steak, breakfast, and most anything else you would want. I get either the chicken pot pie or the Le Chicken (chicken salad with nuts, celery, and sliced grapes) on a buttery soft croissant. I paired this with the green chile chicken stew and potato salad for a completely delicious and filling meal. Of course I have to have dessert and the peanut butter pie spoke to me. Loudly! The decor is cute and country, a bit like a local Cracker Barrel, but much MUCH better. The prices are quite reasonable so you can take the entire family for a satisfying meal. You simply cannot go wrong at Christy Mae's. Enjoy!

I went here for lunch on September 16, 2025. My first visit. There's a lot of parking available and good signage. Inside there are nice big windows resulting in lots of natural light. The decor is casual. Staff is friendly and accommodating. The menu is an interesting blend of American diner food with Mexican food choices. The special today was tuna melt, and I had it with a side of potato salad. My dining companion had a very lovely sandwich called the harvest. You can see from the photos, that it's stacked high with lots of different vegetables and she described it as delicious. The tuna melt was nicely done and I really enjoyed the potato salad. It had a little bit of celery in it to give us some crunch and interest. Prices are reasonable.

Christy Mae's serves up exactly what you'd expect from an All American diner! My friends and I were craving a cozy meal, and we all came for the chicken pot pie. We stopped by on a Friday evening and received prompt and friendly service. Even though Christy Mae closes relatively early (~8pm), our group appreciated the warm welcome and hospitality from start to finish, despite arriving later than we hoped. By the time we placed our order, Christy Mae's only had one chicken pot pie available, which I was lucky to enjoy as an out-of-state guest. My two friends ordered the Turkey and Green Chile Pot Pie, which our server suggested and spoke highly of! Portions were huge, and our meals were well priced. If I could change anything, I'd recommend more seasoning, but overall, I left very satisfied!

Ordered the Jane's Way chopped steak ( this is 1/3) Delicious! I went and picked it up. It was so warm and so fresh when I got home!!

Delicious as always! Super consistent and great ownership, and management! The staff is all friendly and super amazing. I have never had a bad experience and have been going for 30 years plus.

Had a rebate thru the upside app. So I decided to give it a try. They have a pretty good size menu. I got the chicken fried steak with corn on the cob and mashed. It was delicious and came out pretty fast. The service was excellent and the place was clean

He walked away as I approached the counter. I was confused as I wasn't aware I had to order on the tablet on the counter. When I began using the tablet I was in search of the new mushroom burger they sent me an email yesterday about. Of course you know it's what I wanted to try. Sadly it wasn't on the menu on the tablet. When I called the employee for help I basically got the vibe he didn't want to be there and he was hesitant to approach. When he did come to the counter I asked about the burger even showed him the email to get told it's not out yet and it was coming soon. I found myself wondering why I even got the email if this was true. Needless to say the food came out really fast. I thought well that's good at least. The presentation was better than the experience. The cheese on the queso fries was pretty skimpy. There were way more fries than cheese which was disappointing. The burger I wasn't a fan of either. It needed more cheese and the stackers sauce tasted strange like it a chipotle sauce it wasn't the same as I recalled. I'm sad to say this is the second location I've had a bad experience with. It's really disappointing because I really loved this place. I guess I'll have to stick to the central food hall because so far that's the only location that hasn't disappointed me like this yet.

I was immediately impressed by the staff. you couldn't ask for better care and warmth. we participated in any activities that were offered and made new and lasting friendships along the way. thru those years there were difficult times. I guess the most difficult was the pandemic when we were limited to movement within the building but you would be amazed attn lengths the staff went to to keep us happy. delicious meals were delivered to our door ( we ordered from our menu's ). Games were played at each door if you wanted to participate and there were fun prizes. The weekly wine socials were brought to your door. Meanwhile, all the necessary health precautions were taken. The apartments were thoroughly cleaned weekly. When necessary, immunization clinics were brought to each resident and if you wanted to participate, they made it easy. Eventually that passed and life got back to normal but it's hard not to recognize the professional handling of that difficult time. The building was renovated and mad lovely for us. If anything needed to be updated, it was life moved along smoothly and I must admit, to my surprise. There were many staff changes but amazingly, the staff remained warm and caring. Deep down, I can forget that they are dealing with many different personalities and sometimes elderly people can be a tad grumpy. The loving staff simply overlooks the bad days. Food is always an issue but the menu is large with choices for everyone. If that isn't enough, there's a really great Bistro you don't want to mis. The activities are numerous and year round. Entertainment is provided on a regular basis and outings take place twice a week. All you have to do is signup. I can't close this without mentioning that my husband passed away in 2022. it was a difficult time made easier by the Fairwinds staff and especially the management. Being100% deaf and disabled, my family wanted me to move to assisted living despite my reluctance. Doralei warmly helped me make that decision to move and very graciously helped me find a comfortable apartment. The move was smooth and the golden treatment given by the health and Wellness staff has been perfect so I have to admit that it was the proper move. When I need appointments, the transportation service is wonderful and I can't forget to mention the wonderful drivers. Do you see how fortunate I furl that all those years ago, we made the decision to move here it was the perfect one. You can't go wrong.

Extremely disappointing experience at Sixty Six Acres…read more We walked in and were seated immediately on the patio. I had read so many positive reviews and was genuinely excited to try this restaurant. Unfortunately, we walked out without ever being served. While we sat there, multiple staff members walked past our table without acknowledging us. No greeting. No water. No "someone will be right with you." Nothing. Then another couple arrived after us and was seated in the same small patio area. They were promptly greeted, given water, and attended to by a waiter who seemed more than happy to serve them. Meanwhile, we were still sitting there trying to figure out whether anyone planned to acknowledge our table. What made the experience even more uncomfortable was looking around and realizing there were no other Black or Brown patrons in the establishment at the time. I cannot definitively say race played a role in how we were treated, but given the stark difference in service between our table and the couple seated after us, I would be dishonest if I said the thought didn't cross my mind. We eventually got up and left. Good food reviews mean very little if certain guests can sit at a table while staff repeatedly walk past them as though they aren't there. Whether this was discrimination, poor training, or simply terrible service, the experience was unacceptable and left us feeling completely unwelcome. We came prepared to spend our money and enjoy dinner. Instead, Sixty Six Acres made it very easy for us to take our business elsewhere.
