My first visit to this establishment occurred on 08/29/2025. I had fasting blood work done to check my cholesterol and headed over. Anybody else out there like me? After your fasting bloodwork is drawn you splurge? Ha ha. Great parking available, parking lot pretty full indicating the popularity. To me this is diner style; good menu, lots of daily specials. Comfortable decor with good natural light. Friendly and cheerful staff. I had steak and eggs, with hash browns and sourdough toast and a large orange juice. The steak was cooked exactly to my requested medium rare, was tender and tasty. Eggs were scrambled spot on, and the hash browns were just right. Prices are excellent. Fabulous Crystal is the Saturday opener. She treated us like "regulars" on our second monthly visit, and it's obvious that she takes care of dozens of folks. Yum! I had heard great things about this place but hadn't had a chance to try it yet. They do have a very cute patio but it was way way too hot out to really check it out. Maybe next time! I had the veggie sandwich and the fries and the sandwich was great and the fries really hit the spot. It's funny because the parking lot was packed but inside wasn't terrible, plenty of street parking though, so not too bad as far as finding a spot in general. I also had a coffee and our server was great about making sure we had our refills and things as we needed them. This was a great place to have lunch with friends. The menu is huge, they serve breakfast and lunch all day - as they told me, if it's on the menu doesn't matter what time it is, you can have it. I will have to go back to try more things. Lots of sandwiches, more traditional breakfast like omelettes and such and then of course NM breakfasts. Well folks, at the end of my meal came a piece of plastic from my enchiladas. I got up and went to the kitchen counter to show the cooks. After speaking to them the host noticed what I was doing, and I showed her and the customers she was talking to. She called my waitress, and she apologized and said she would tell the cooks. I said I already had. My meal was free but I gave her a $20 tip, and wished her a Happy Mother's Day. My last visit there they served me left over sausage from the AM. I was there after 2 PM. Milly's breakfast and lunch is has a variety of breakfast offerings. My review is only of the Benedicts, nothing else. I want to let you know that I have a "top ten" list for Benedicts. #1 being the best and #10 not as good. I found Millys did make my top ten. They have a 4 and 5 star review in all categories . My rating is based on 3 weights : 70% = taste 20% = presentation 10% = price #1 - taste: They use Canadian bacon . I asked for soft poached eggs and was presented with soft to medium. The Hollandaise sauce was made from scratch in house, had a very pleasing, distinctive flavor and taste. The reason I review Eggs Benedict is because of the difference in the flavor of the Hollandaise sauce. It comes with breakfast potatoes and a fruit cup but I opt for their shredded hash browns. #2 -presentation : The presentation was good. #3-price: $12.29 is on the low side for Bennys with hash browns. Coffee for $3.29 a cup. It is hard to insert a new Benny into my top ten but because of the flavor this one was came in at #8. To see why I did this I suggest you try it for yourself. read more

Best of all the Milly's! Freshly made when ordered, super delicious. The Greek salad with gyro meat is phenomenal. And I love the homemade dressing! We tried the chili cheese fries, and they were- amazing. Fresh from the frier and then smothered in yummy green chili (we picked green, red or Xmas was also an option). The ladies serving were busy! Millys is a cute and easy breakfast and lunch spot, I'm giving 4 stars because I think they do what they set out to well. Caveat is I'm a vegetarian and ordered a breakfast entree Christmas style. The green chile ended up having meat in it! I haven't seen meat in chile dishes I've had prior, so that was a bummer. Once I noticed the meat I stopped eating, so didn't eat much. The bites I had were pretty plain in taste/nothing special. But service was friendly and the restaurant was comfortable. If I ate meat I'd go back, but I likely won't as a vegetarian. read more

I ordered a burger with bacon, Swiss and avocado without a bun. The burger was really good, I would definitely order it again. This is an adequate breakfast restaurant. We went to the candelabra location since it's has more parking room compared to the one in Jefferson that barely has any parking space. We orders burritos to go and I would say I was disappointed in the quality of the burrito. Nonetheless the green Chile salsa that accompanied the burrito was above average than any breakfast joint that I have encountered in this town. I will be returning to savor more dishes with this green Chile sauce. Prices are average. Customer service can definitely do some brushing up. In my ongoing quest to find good lunch spots near my workplace, my husband and I visited Milly's on Candelaria. It's a busy spot, but we were able to find a table right away. I ordered gyros without onions and a Greek salad, and my husband had the Milly Philly with a side of potato salad. Mine was delicious - a nice soft pita filled with delicious gyro meat and tomato slices, topped with tasty tzatziki. The salad had crisp lettuce, tomato, feta, Kalamata olives, and pepperoncini. I appreciated that the dressing was served on the side so I could add what I wanted. Dh's sandwich was very good; I didn't try the potato salad, but I enjoyed my sandwich bite. Our server was friendly and efficient and helped us get in and out of the restaurant promptly. If you're in the area and looking for a good lunch place, Milly's is an excellent choice. read more

I was so excited to try this place. Sadly I left underwhelmed. When you walk in its confusing. There's no sign that says seat yourself but since there's no hostess that's what I did. I drew the short straw on waitresses. She took an order from a 4 top next to me then came and took my order for the SW skillet. I was alone. The 4 top food came out really fast so I figured mine would be out quickly. 20 minutes later I finally got the waitresses' attention to ask where my food was. She brought it soon after and blamed the kitchen. I got the home fries and the potatoes weren't seasoned at all. There were pieces of green pepper as well which was not listed on the menu. I would've had the hash browns instead. The eggs were cooked perfectly over easy and the sausage was really good. There was no taste or heat to the green chile. But over all there was no wow factor. The manager Alden (?) came over and asked how everything was. I gave honest feedback. Waitress inattentive. Food took forever to get and tasteless. Green peppers in home fries (apparently that's how home fries come) and also when I checked in on Yelp there was a free cookie offer and she didn't bring me that. They were out of cookies so he sub'd a brownie and he compd me a piece of pecan pie. Very kind of him. He did not offer to comp my meal nor did I expect it. He listened to my feedback and responded well. I still over tipped the waitress even though our total interaction time was less than 3 minutes. I saw other waitresses engaging with their tables so that's a good sign. Total with tip was under $18. Not a huge loss. Will I go back? Doubtful. There are too many other places I can get tastier food and consistent customer service. read more

When you come in, you see a variety of people here, some sitting having meetings, some with laptops working, and others just enjoying the food. Service at this location is quick at early morning hours. Located in an industrial area, the restaurant is easy to access off University and Candelaria. Facility is clean, fairly new, and well kept. Although I've been to both locations, this one has more space between the tables and is presents a spacious seating area. They push tables together for large groups. The reason to go is the food, however I've visited this location several times and always experience a warm environment and friendly staff. read more

They do have daily specials on a board when you walk in. I had the chef salad, it was ok. No croutons but crackers is what you get. Ham was deli ham just cut up. They all share the tips so that is good Seems like a nice place to sit and have a meal I was annoyed when paying out that they ignored me for a good 5 minutes before taking the ticket. Always polite and accommodating. I love their Eggs Benedict here but today my eggs were fried and not poached as they should be. I let my server know and the new nice manager, Cali came over and apologized saying the egg prep was a mistake so next time they'd be on the house and cooked right!!! This place really favors the regular and you can see the where the wait staffs priorities are and where they spend their time. I was very disappointed in the way I was treated here, no refills, didn't get checked on, another server brought put my food and my additional request for toast, and the original server still didn't come to check on me afterwards. But the food was excellent I had the chicken fried steak very tasty and our hostess was very professional and attentive to our table and all her other one. OMG... Color me happy. After 8 long months in Albuquerque without eating out once for breakfast, I have finally found a place that serves good old fashioned American breakfast at a good price. Allelujah. Up to now whenever I've researched breakfast restaurants either they feature mostly southwestern cuisine which I call lunch not breakfast if you're having burritos enchiladas and tacos. Alternatively, the other restaurants I have found that I've looked at have featured what I call foofy food. I don't want gourmet I don't want crazy I just want plain old fashioned American. That is what I got at Milley's and at a good price with a smile. Well actually the server was wearing a mask but I heard her smile even though I didn't see it. So I had eggs and meat which consisted of two poached eggs wonderfully crisp hash brown potatoes three sausage links and rye bread with a dab of butter. I am in heaven. The only feedback I have is to ask them to please open a location that's further on the east side closer to Juan Tabo or the Tramway. I will be back often and thanks so much read more

Great place for breakfast. Newer and clean. Large menu with many options. We got the breakfast tacos with sausage and bacon and fruit. The sausage was our favorite, a little spicy with good flavor. The corn tortilla was fried to a crunchy texture, very good. The tacos were filled with egg and meat, topped with lettuce, tomato and avocado. Salsa was on the side with a nice little kick. Worst service I've ever received. I ordered a chef salad and chicken sandwich. They brought out a Greek salad and BLT. I politely pointed out my order was wrong. The server brought out a Greek salad again. Then brought me a chicken sandwich that only had half a chicken breast on it. The manager came over to apologize and said lunch was on him. Then we proceeded to wait 20 minutes and our food never came out and the manager asked us to leave. And said we are done here. Never got my food. Managers name was Cree.
