Lots of local designers, along with some not so local brands. I was thrilled when I saw that they have loads of OshKoshB'Gosh overalls (the real vintage ones!) in stock! They've also got some awesome looking vintage clothes (I'm talkin' 60s florals and prints, people) if you really wanna make your kid look dated, er.. I mean cool. Along with tons of really fun kids clothes- 'Babylegs' and Matthew Porter's 'Red Panda' line of baby tees and onesies, they also sell children's shoes and women's Yoga apparel. For littles 18 months and up on Mondays and Fridays they offer an art class at 10am. The first class is free which is awesome because you can check it out without making a commitment. Then, classes are $12 or if you purchase a 4 pack, you get 10% off. It's drop in style which is great because our schedule can change suddenly with my 2 year old. The toy shop itself is also very cool with a wonderfully large assortment of toys. Art toys. Educational toys. Trucks. Animals. All the things. The prices are a tad higher than amazon, but I'd rather pay the additional $2 than have to add $20 worth of stuff I do t need to get same day shipping on amazon. The staff is very kind and friendly. This is a great shop in west Seattle. There is 2hr street parking and also a few close by public lots for the junction.

We don't live in Seatttle, where the store is, so my husband sent back of the gift and was told that someone would help me with an exchange. I had no response to my Instagram messages or my emails. Now in December, finally someone is responding to us and they are unwilling to help shop remotely, siting the season as the reason. In fact, they're only willing to offer a gift card. They did, however, offer the "full price" on the gift card. I found that an interesting statement. As if that was a favor to me. So since we live far away, it's unlikely that I will remember to use the gift card. We only visit once every year or two. I hope I do have a chance to spend the gift card, worth over $300. But this is just a reminder that while it's nice to shop small businesses, in person, it's not necessarily great for the recipient of the gift. Especially if a change is needed. A better resolution would've been a refund to my husband. Especially for a long distance situation. While he was told that the sales person would be helpful, we have not found that to do so. One of my favorite sayings is that you're either winning or you're learning. I'd say this is definitely a learning experience. Shop wisely.
