Fun experience, you get to choose all your meals, the sauces are customizable. They had an assortment of drinks to choose from. Including milk teas and fruit slushies. Kaylee was very attentive and made sure we were enjoying our time. The atmosphere was fun and family friendly.

Absolutely loved my experience at Chubby Cattle! I got the standard buffet and spent two hours enjoying all the delicious offerings - including lamb, many different waygu cuts, shrimp, sushi/sashimi, and more! My favorite cut was the Waygu bbq thick cut top sirloin. My boyfriend's favorite was the Waygu thin cut knuckle. The fruit soda dispenser definitely shined - I enjoyed a lemon peach concoction. Pepsi products were also offered. All of the seafood was especially fresh - it didn't even need sauce! I really enjoyed the salmon sashimi and crab legs. However, the dipping butter was not tasty. It was very oily and had a strange flavor to it. I recommend a combination of the bbq sauce and white salt on the table. The atmosphere was great! Large collections of manga, traditional Japanese masks, and cute signs of the different mascots covered the walls. My waitress, Leah, was fantastic! She walked us through the buffet area, made helpful (and delicious) suggestions, and explained the membership (without being pushy). I didn't purchase the membership today ($58 per year for discounted pricing and additional perks), but I'll definitely consider it in the future. We paid $105 (after tax, before tip - during the week) for the AYCE Waygu buffet for 2, which included sushi, beverages (including milk tea), desserts, hot foods, fruit, crab legs, and dim sum. It was a great value. We left full and happy! Tip: Make sure to download the app and follow Chubby Cattle on socials. There's a free chuck tail flap offer when you post and tag the restaurant! Also, be sure to ask your waitress for ice cream and take a refill of your drink to-go! Chubby Cattle is a great spot for celebrating a birthday or just grabbing a great cut of steak for lunch. I highly recommend and will definitely be back to visit my girl, Leah!

Love this location! I'm from California and this location was definitely better than the ones I've visited in my own home state. The meat quality was superb, we did the diamond tier and everything was amazing especially the thick cut A5 wagyu. The wagyus are melt in your mouth delicious and definitely worth the extra splurge. The buffet area has tons of options which I liked a lot because there was so much variety, especially the meat counter, where you can pick a few slices of each meat rather than having a whole order. The best part was our server Leah, she was amazing, very attentive and made sure we had a great time! Thank you Leah, for the wonderful service, definitely will try to come back to ATL to visit this location again.

The food was very delicious, unfortunately I felt like the cold sides were made too far in advance and were very vinegar forward. The meat was all wonderful! PHILIP was an amazing server, and we never had to look for him or ask questions because he was so full of information. We got the gold tier and our bill for 2 after the membership was only $150 without tip. Amazing for actual Wagyu. The ambiance was a great everyday family friendly atmosphere. The review lost a point due to the cleanliness of the women's bathroom. It was really gross. Other than that, I RECOMMEND.

Last year we tried Wagyu House and ended up getting a membership. This year I was excited to try their sister location. Unfortunately, I ended up disappointed. The place is located right where Perimeter Mall is. I haven't been on that side in years, so I had no clue that you have to pay to park. No biggie. I went with two other friends. Initially, the told one of my friends that she could do the $35 special on her on, but once our time started they came back and told her she had to go with what the table is going with. Which I thought was the rule, but didn't know if they were slightly different than Wagyu House. The layout of the restaurant gives off casual vibes and is nice. There weren't a whole lot of ppl there. One of the reasons I chose the weekend is because of the seafood options. However, there were no crab legs or AYCE seafood options. That was my first reason for feeling like I got cheated because in the 90 minutes we were there, it never came out. The other issue was that the food we ordered didn't come out. When it did, all the food was not delivered to the table. We had to ask our second server for the food because the first server said she would check on it, but it never came. At the time one of my friends hit me with some crazy news and therefore I didn't make a big fuss with the manager. The Wagyu that came with our tier was absolutely delicious. Everything else was meh. To me I feel like we were cheated out of experiencing what we came for. Speaking with another friend, who went to the Duluth location the week before, and both of us agreed that Wagyu House was much better. I don't know when I'll give them a second chance, but I do believe in them having one.

First time and the experience was 10/10. I got the Gold tier so I can try the A5 Wagyu. Nite the first 2 section of the gold tier: you can only order 1 order from each section and that's it. Then the rest of the selections within the gold menu is unlimited, on top of everything in silver tier. I was too hungry to take pictures and wish I could have take more pics. Overall the meat quality was top notch. The A5 melts in your mouth. And some other meat, the seasoning was really good with peppery taste. I recommended getting the gold tier. All the sauces were good as well. And the sides. The handroll sushi was great! And the tomyum soup was so delicious! They also have 2 different types of milk tea for unlimited drinks! And the matcha Mille crepe was so good as well! I love the decor of the place with manga covers and Japanese styles. Shoutout to our waiter Ricky for helping my group of 6 people cooking the meat. He was very accommodating and answer all our questions!

Chubby Cattle coming to ATL was a huge win for the food scene. AYCE lovers, this place absolutely delivers. The service, management, and Chubby Cattle team is consistently great, and the food quality never misses. There are so many delicious options. You order most items straight from the tablet, plus there's a buffet area for extra goodies. The selection is impressive- Wagyu, a wide variety of proteins like pork belly, beef, steak, and more, plus some dim sum favorites, sushi, nigiri, curry (special shoutout to the rice machine, because yes, it deserves its own moment), dumplings, fried bites, a solid drink selection, and even desserts including some soft serve ice cream and bubble tea (without the boba) to finish strong. This location is in front of Perimeter Mall. The ambiance is another highlight. This Chubby Cattle location is spacious, perfect for larger groups, and has a fun, lively vibe. Walking in genuinely feels like you've been transported to another country- great energy, great atmosphere, great time. Pro tip: There's a set time limit for AYCE, so order strategically and keep an eye on when you can submit additional rounds on the tablet. Plan wisely and you'll leave very happy (and very full). Also, there's some paid parking right out front but you can park for free at the mall near Cheesecake Factory. Overall, Chubby Cattle is a must-visit if you love AYCE done right.

We came for lunch right at opening and opted for the Diamond tier. There's a 90-minute dining limit, so pacing matters. Mixing richer, fatty cuts with leaner ones is the way to go in my opinion. Standouts for me were the shank and the Australian wagyu, both excellent in flavor and texture and offered that rich-lean balance. Service was attentive and efficient, especially since we were one of the first tables of the day. I imagine things could feel more rushed when the restaurant is busy, but our experience was smooth and well managed. Located in the former Breakers restaurant space. Would return.

The service staff here were pretty kind, when first entering, they were extremely attentive, and we were seated quickly on a weekday. I did join the membership program, however, I am questioning its value due to the fact that a lot of the benefits are in California where I'm assuming they may be based. Go into this with the expectation that it is different from Korean barbecue, because it is Japanese. However, it is just as delicious. I was a bit upset about the lack of a chicken option, you're going to have to choose between kaarage or a New Orleans style chicken cartilage to grill no boneless / marinated breast or thighs. Go in with the expectation that your eyes may be bigger than your stomach cause you will be charged for access food. However, the quality of the meat was great all of the steak options we had were enjoyable, along with the pork belly! We did get silver cheer, which had a member pricing of $45.99, which I think is typically about $55 without. It's a very well decorated establishment, it reminds me of a street that you'd see with the awnings, it's a fun environment to be in. It's also nice that drinks are included with your meal. I think I'll visit again just for the fact that I'm a member, or one of the sister locations opposed to the one in Atlanta.

I love ayce bbq and went to try out this new restaurant that opened in perimeter! They have everything you can think of - sushi, all kinds of wagyu, dumplings, vegetables, slushies and more. I enjoyed everything we tasted! I am normally hesitant of buffet sushi but these were being made fresh and were very good! Some of my favorite meats were the miso brisket, short rib, and wagyu ribeye! They also had a miso soup and rice machine. The rice machine is so smart because it is way more hygienic than having to self serve/scoop out a container. For drinks I got a lychee slushee which was delicious. We also ordered from the bar the matcha peachtree which was my favorite - very unique taste of peach and matcha! The soju-rita and lychee martiniz were also good choices. I would definitely recommend this spot. Pro tip- to save $ try coming in the week day or for lunch :)

Amazing food, beautiful restaurant. Ricky was very attentive, and quick. Definitely would come back. I might like the food more than Wagyu house. The buffet is bigger here

I love chubby cattle group. So when I saw this newly open place, I had to check it out. There is no tiers at this location. It's one price all you can eat. I like that you can grab your own meat as well so you don't have to wait for the servers to bring it to you. I love the decor at this location. It's a little different than the others as well. They also have manga lined up all around the whole restaurant. Do not open the manga books, please they are displays only. I noticed some of them were open. I like the idea a lot since sometimes when the kitchen is backed up, you have to wait for them to bring it to you at the other locations. I also love that this location has more variety when it comes to the side, dishes and buffet option. They actually have more desserts here and they also have a lot of different appetizers as well and the buffet. The only thing I didn't like about this location was you have to have a chubby group membership in order to get the more premium cut meats. I go maybe once a month and to a chubby group location. Maybe I should get a membership but usually at the other locations you can get Gold or Diamond tier and you can get Wagyu Otoro. It's one of my favorites and its melts in your mouth good. At this location, they only had regular Wagyu cuts, which wasn't bad, but I really like getting the diamond tier. Ever since my trip from Wagyu house I've just been blown away by the A5 Wagyu. I just can't eat normal Wagyu anymore. I probably would come here again for conveniency, since they grab your own option was nice. On days where I don't feel like walking definitely the other location.

So my sister and I weren't too keen on the traditional Thanksgiving meal this year so we dined on shabu shabu at Chubby Cattle at the Perimeter Mall today. I don't know what restaurant this used to be but they've transformed it into a hip Korean bbq spot. Inside is really nice, clean with urban vibes. Service was good. Whenever we got ready to put meat on the grill, our server was right there to assist. Our grill was changed halfway through the service to make sure we got great tasting meat each time. It was some of the best Japanese BBQ I've eaten, with tender cuts of wagyu beef that melted in my mouth. The AYCE bar with other pieces of beef and seafood plus Korean sides, soups, dumplings, drinks and desserts was plentiful. It was a delicious meal where I got to try some interesting dishes and spend some quality time with my sister for fun times and good laughs.

It took about 5 minutes for a server to greet us. At this point I was able to ask for a physical menu. Nothing was explained about the menu or the drinks, this would have added to the overall experience. As for food, we ordered the Red Samurai Roll. This was my favorite out of everything we ordered. Very refreshing but thought the tomato was unnecessary. The spicy tuna and fresh tuna complemented each other nicely and the ponzu sauce added the right amount of sweetness that was not too powerful. Very flavorful. We ordered two other rolls, the hashtags roll and the shinobi roll. Both were more on the savory side compared to the Red Samurai roll. Personally not my favorite as the sauce on the hashtags rolls was too powerful, covering up the taste of the actual sushi and the Shinobi roll tasted strange with the seared filet mignon on top. I personally did not think this complimented each other well but this could be up to personal preference! After 3 rolls between 2 people, we still didn't really feel full so ordered the Kampachi Serrano, which was lacking a lot of flavor and the frozen ponzu sauce did not add anything to the dish. The picture online looks better than the actual dish. Lastly, we ordered the Salmon toro nigiri, salmon belly. The ambiance was very nice, low lighting, good date night spot. Twice they delivered the wrong dish to our table. I would try other sushi places in Atlanta before coming back here. For the prices, the service was not up to standard with explanations and speed. Also no refills on Diet Coke and the only options for parking are a $6 valet or self parking which is also $6. They do not validate. The Red Samurai roll was really good though and definitely the standout for me of this meal.

Law of supply and demand. But given the elevation in quality of life this establishment has provided me with across the years, I feel I owe them some good marketing through a review. If there was a sushi coefficient of freshness, quality, quantity, and cost, this place wins everyday. C= (Fr*Q*q*c) Fr: 9 Q: 8 q: 10 c: 10 C(Yokohama)= 7200 Don't get me wrong - the competition is fierce for delicious sushi (Fudo, MF sushi, Nobu, all the Omakase scenarios popping up in town). What this means is the cost (c) is way too high, giving it a low 1-5 in the equation. Also, quantity (q) is low, about 4-6. So, the resulting coefficient is very low overall. From my understanding, the fish here only comes from Japan, so it's good stuff - and they really load up the rolls (a lot of the time), and they have this deal on weekend for special rolls (25% off I think). So you do get the quality, quantity, and decent price (about $12-15 per specialty roll). The regular rolls are good too, and loaded with fish. E.g. spicy salmon/tuna. So, if you're looking to go crazy on some good sushi without restraint and without breaking the bank completely, this is your spot. family owned I believe, very nice and efficient service. The Samurai Roll was substantial and I appreciate the generosity of the roll. It was topped with salmon, and usually when rolls are topped with fish, it's usually a pretty thin slice of fish, but these slices of salmon were quite thick in my opinion. The pieces of sushi themselves are also fairly thick - it was a big bite for me to eat each piece in one. I made a reservation in advance and the staff already had my table ready even though I was a little early. The table was already dressed with menus, chopsticks, and some small plates/sauce dishes. I think the biggest detractor for the sushi here is the rice. It doesn't have a very fragrant flavor the way it does at other great sushi restaurants, and the grains themselves were a bit cold instead of being closer to body temperature. Between the quality of the fish, the execution in the kitchen, and the hospitality, this is easily a 5-star spot. Already planning my next visit.

I want to be fair here. It was my daughter's birthday and the restaurant was her choice so our…read morefamily of four showed up for our 8:15 reservation. Mom bought cupcakes for the celebration and we were informed by first, the hostess and then the manager that there was a $35 "Cake Cutting Fee". I would not have minded something of a fee but $35 was exorbitant so I took the cupcakes back to my car. This first impression left me with a bad taste. Dinner went well enough. I'm not a sushi person but I did have the Chicken Teriyaki. It was ok but nothing extraordinary. I've had better for less. The rest of my family (who love sushi) basically had the same impression about the sushi. our waiter was pleasant and tried really hard after I told him that our evening had started off badly with the manager. My personal highlight was the post dinner coffee which was brewed table side and of very good quality. One other policy that felt really pretentious in my opinion is that the restaurant has a policy of not allowing customers to take home food that might be left over from your meal. The menu states "Keep In Mind When Ordering"! If I've never been to your restaurant, I may not be aware of your portion sizes or any other number of factors that might not allow me to finish my meal including emergencies! Bottom Line, Average Food, Beautiful Building, Pretentious Policies. We won't return!!!
