I stumbled on this place last week and thought how have I not been to this early morning breakfast place or seen it before so I stopped by. The place doesn't look like much from the outside and it's dive/dumpy on the inside. Service was great with plenty of coffee top offs while I was having my breakfast. The menu has all the breakfast regulars with a couple items not on most breakfast menus like the country Benny on an English muffin ??, if you have biscuits and gravy on the menu use a dam biscuit so it's all country. I like that they give you a carafe of ice water so you never have to wait for a refill and a real glass is used. The Chubby's skillet was the winner with ham, sausage, bacon, onion, green peppers, hash browns, tomatoes with cheddar cheese topped sausage gravy that comes with eggs and toast. To my surprise my skillet was topped with three eggs and huge, my left overs were just over a pound after I ate until I was full making a couple toast sandwich's and eating some of the skillet. My favorite sourdough toast was my choice and it's hit or miss with the quality and this was not the very best but it was really good with that perfect dense texture. My eggs were cooked perfect sunny side up. The skillet was really good and hot to my table with melty cheese. The hash browns had a golden crust with that soft/pillowy potatoes potatoes inside that I just liked and mix that with the meats, cheese and sausage gravy and you have one good skillet. I can't complain about anything and I had a great American breakfast from this place so I'm really glad that I stopped by. A good meat and potatoes breakfast is so comfort food in my opinion and why breakfast is my favorite meal so I would definitely come back for breakfast.

    This is not rye bread!

Ordered a patty melt, came burnt, not on rye bread either like menu says. Husband ordered a BLT club, no turkey on it and burnt toast hidden upside down. No offer to replace or not have to pay for a non-eatable food. Reading some other views on the site make me wonder if they were in the right restaurant or maybe written by a relative or the owner. We will never go back there again.

This is our local Big Bend restaurant. The food is great and the staff is always friendly. Extra crispy bacon is delicious. Chicken fajitas are kick a$$. But remember - its a local spot so dont expect glitz and glam and hipster trends - just really good food and company.

It is one of the vintage-looking buildings, painted blue with green striped awnings. It has great curb appeal and feels very welcoming. There are outside café tables and plenty of seating inside for different size groups. Not only are they a coffee house, but they serve a wide-ranging menu of foods, and there are grocery items you can purchase, including dairy, eggs, and meats. They also carry many other items that make great gifts. I got a very friendly greeting from the cashier. I ordered a London Fog Tea Latte (little lavender, little vanilla, and extra foam) in a mug. The blueberry scones looked amazing, so I got one of those as well. They make all their bakery on-site. Everything was excellent, with lots of microbubbles in the latte. Plenty of blueberries in the scone, and it had the right texture (dry and a little crumbly). I forgot to bring my book along, but they have a very eclectic selection, so I was able to peruse some titles I had not seen before. Overall, another great experience. One of my favorite places in Walworth County.

It was late Monday afternoon, and there were only a couple of other people inside. I got a friendly greeting from the barista and help with my order. I went with my usual London Fog Tea Latte in a mug (little lavender, little vanilla, extra foam). I also wanted some bakery, but the only options were cookies and brownies, so I chose the Molasses Cookie. Along with that, I ordered a Peach Mango Refresher. The beverages and cookie were good. The refresher was made with half coconut milk, which added some richness. The London Fog was decent, and the cookie was chewy and flavorful. It made for a very relaxing time, sitting on a sofa and reading a book. On the way out, we browsed the small wine and grocery room off to the right. Lots of interesting spices, wines, vinegars, and gift ideas. This is definitely a place I'll stop in again.

I didn't even try the bakery items, I was so full, but, it all looked delicious! All of the food was really good. A little on the more pricey side, but worth it. There was so much on the plate. My only issue with the food was the toast was too lightly toasted and the coffee was a little bitter. But the brisket and other food was amazing! They do not have a kids menu but they will 1/2 orders of pancakes or a French toast order. The tables are small and the plates are huge. I would suggest trying to get a table on the wall if there are more than 3 people. It's small and tight but so worth the food.

My mom knows the owner, Meg, and she is such a wonderful presence!! The storefront itself is so cute, I love that it's in a little house and there's plenty of space inside for sitting, groups, and events! When we came on Saturday there was actually a baby shower happening in the main room and I thought the space was perfect for this. I ordered a glow smoothie, matcha latte, and a carrot muffin. The muffin was delicious - tasted very healthy but also sweet and was the perfect morning treat after a workout. The smoothie was also great and pretty filling. The matcha was amazing. I've had matcha at a few different places in Delafield and have not been super thrilled about them. This one was great and I would 100% recommend it - not too sweet and didn't just taste like oat milk. Meg told us that in order to serve this tea, the matcha company basically had to interview her and instruct her on the best ceremonial practices. I thought that the care the servers put into the matcha was really special. Overall, such a great space to stop by if you're in the area or are in need of a gathering place!! Inside is large, with plenty of tables and seating for different size groups. There are design and decoration elements that are religious in nature, but I don't find them overpowering. The place was mostly empty when I arrived. There were a few cars using the drive thru. Got a nice greeting from the cashier. Placed my order for a London Fog Tea Latte (little lavender, little vanilla, extra foam), and got it in a mug. I would have ordered a scone, but all they had in the case were muffins. Since I couldn't get a scone, I found the most decadent muffin, which was a Caramel Apple Pecan. It took a few minutes to make the London Fog (which is a good sign that they are giving it a good steep). They also left the bag in the mug, which I prefer. The beverage was excellent, the right temperature, good flavor, and the texture was right. The muffin was also very good. It was a very good experience and would make me come back again. The French toast had a nice caramelized exterior and was cooked perfectly. I couldn't pass up some bakery to take home and got a blueberry muffin and a peanut butter/chocolate chip scone. This scone was fantastic; not too sweet with a great balance of chocolate and peanut butter. What really makes this a five star place is their service.
