Are you looking for a diner that has all of the instant and delicious breakfast classics as well as unique rotating specials?? Well landmark is your place to go! The restaurant itself has a homey vibe and a great view on to the park across the street. The service is quick and warm. The food was great. I went with a group of five and all you could hear from us was forks on plates. Their house salsa was a great topping to the omelette as well. Omelette and side of pancakes looked too good to even think about taking a picture, you'll have to take my word for it!

I'm going to give it 5 stars only because the food was very good. The service was on the slow side , but not super slow. I'll come back and like today just not be in any hurry. Again food great, server was great, and also the hostess!

A nearby restaurant that I tried to stop at first for breakfast didn't work out, so I called in an order for pickup at Landmark Family Restaurant on my way to work. My order consisted of a bacon, egg, and cheese croissant and two pancakes. The croissant is huge. The bacon was nice and crispy and all of the components had moments to shine. I prefer a wrap/burrito since they're easier to eat on the go, but I wouldn't be opposed to getting the croissant again. As a note, the croissant is $9 (as of 5/2/2023) and doesn't come with a side. The pancakes were a decent size, fluffy, and had a hint of sweetness without using syrup. That said, I didn't think the stack of two was necessarily worth $7 without toppings or sides of meat like bacon or sausage, so I'd probably pass on them next time.

The restaurant is clean and well maintained. The service is adequate. The food "Seafood Platter" wa sso overcooked that the clam strips were hard crisps, the fish(I'm assuming cod) was cooked until it was a shriveled up remnant inside a shell of breading. The scallops were somewhat tasty balls of rubber. The monte Cristo was greasy , didn't come with powdered sugar or a side of jelly as most do. The onion rings were over cooked as well.

Soooo happy there is a still a diner around in the neighborhood! I've come here several times for breakfast only with my husband and I love it! Most of the time, I don't want the hip, trendy brunch spots on the weekends and just want a typical diner these days. I love the 'diner' sounds here with forks clinging, plates coming out of the dishwasher, coffee pouring, the random kid crying, (haha, not my favorite) and lots of chatter. I've tried 2 eggs over medium with sausage links and wheat toast. So simple and so good! My husband had the same thing, but added a pancake. I've also tried the gyro omelet with feta cheese and wheat toast. It came with tzatziki sauce and was delicious. I decided to get sliced tomatoes instead of the hash browns. I think it's a good call so you won't get too full and sluggish. I do wish to have faster coffee refills. Once in awhile the refills are a little slow. It's a typical diner, not updated, but it is clean! It will probably be busy for breakfast, but they have additional seating if you don't mind being at the bar. We never had to wait longer then 5-7 minutes or so for 2 people. Give this place a try, you might have a new go to diner!

We decided to come here on a Sunday for brunch. Overall it was a good experience. Parking is on the street. When you walk in, you're supposed to find a seat. The girl who was working the cash register seemed confused by us standing up front. We did not realize we could sit ourselves and it was pretty packed. A boy came over and helped us find some decent seats. Our waiter was really friendly and soft spoken. Service was pretty quick too. It's your typical diner food. There were quite a lot of options, I really wasn't sure what route I wanted to go; breakfast, lunch or dinner. I opted to get a ham and cheese croissant. I have to say that I loved it! It was very simple, but good. It's all I ordered, but I think next time I'll try something else. My ex-wife ordered a croissant as well and also a Rueben. She loved the Rueben but I thought it was mediocre. But I don't love them to begin with, so judging this sandwich wouldn't be fair. So you order and decide. It's very close to us so I can see this being a go-to spot. It's pretty cheap as far as milwaukee brunch spots go.

Walking in here makes me feel like no matter what trends come and go in dining the one thing that will never die is the All American Diner!!! Landmark is just what you're looking for if you want a hearty breakfast and aren't interested in the pretentious frills that come with weekend "brunching" nowadays. The service is quick, the hot coffee is ever flowing , and the omelets are as big as your face...what more does one need on a Saturday morning?? I ordered a veggie omelet(came with four pieces of toast and a generous serving of hash browns) and my boyfriend got biscuits and gravy(seven biscuits SWIMMING in a plate of gravy and sausage...just an FYI) with a side of hash browns. We left satisfied, stuffed, and sluggish only an hour later. We were seated so quickly and our food order came out promptly from the kitchen, it was really impressive considering how busy the place was. I didn't feel in any way rushed, but the place just seems like it is efficiently run. OH and I shouldn't forget the best part...our total for this feast tapped in just over $20 with tip. Fantastic!

Their menu is average dinner fare but they also have a Mexican food night which is very good. The place does need a remodel however.

I hadn't been to their new building yet…read moreand was pleasantly surprised to see some really cool retro pictures, hand stitched artwork, and classic wallpaper. It's a fun space and felt very welcoming. The chilaquiles were fantastic! They make their own hot sauce in house that was a good addition to the dish, along with chorizo. Highly recommend this one. It was also a huge portion and ended up feeding me for two meals. Make sure you get here early to avoid the extremely long lines; we planned to be there right when it opened and by the time we left, there were already people having to wait outside. Worth the wait though!

Huh. I've heard good things about Honeypie and I'm confused now. I tried to get brunch with my…read morefamily at another area spot, but the wait was too long so we opted to try Honeypie. We reviewed the menu while we waiting for seating, which took far longer than we wanted, more than 30 minutes standing in the cramped lobby area with a bunch of other people. Hats off to their host for being friendly and even a little entertaining and I like that you can order coffee at the register area and drink it while you wait. Too bad you can't get a cocktail out there. The menu sounded great and we were ravenous so we were excited to order. By the time we were seated we were limited to about 40 minutes to get to a ticketed event, all in. I told that to our waitress so she could pace the meal accordingly. While I understand that she can't control the kitchen time, I don't think she showed any expediency or attention to my statement. Spoiler alert - we were late. Two of us ordered the biscuits to start with jam. I was happy to try them and they were good. My coffee based martini hit the spot, but it was spilled a little when it hit the table and our server didn't say anything or wipe it off. My mom liked her bloody Mary and it was decent. When our food came I was immediately disappointed by the appearance. My chilaquiles looked like they had sat under a heat lamp for ages - the egg was dried and over firm. My chips were spicy, but 100% soggy and nasty. My black beans were - meh. Not a good dish overall. My mom actually didn't find fault with her Honeypie Benedict. I tried the hollandaise and it was fine. My cousin did not enjoy her Hopple Popple skillet at all. (Potatoes, bacon, caramelized onion, mushroom, bell pepper, cheddar, two scrambled farm eggs) She found it difficult to find any egg, as it was apparently shrunk into tiny bits. The potatoes were like fries and it was overall bland. Not a winner. We certainly won't be back. The dishes don't live up to the interesting descriptions of them and the hype seems to be from an earlier, better time for this restaurant.
