Service was good. Food was typical greasy spoon. The issues I had was that it was dirty dirty dirty. There was food all over the floor. The walls had grease stains all up and down them. This was not a crowded night when we ate here. The lady behind the counter was friendly and nice. She made sure our drinks were filled and on hand if we needed anything. The food portions were very generous and the taste was good. The steak was cooked the way I wanted, as was the hamburger my husband ordered. Prices are not too bad. This place, in my opinion, is the best breakfast place in all of Lemoore. The food is fast, the place is clean, and the lady who normally works there after 12, (older Asian lady) is so sweet and kind. While we eat, she always comes to check on us to make sure everything is okay, and even talks with us from time to time, which is very enjoyable. Everytime I eat there, my mood always raises and I become very happy. I absolutely love their food, espeacially their, "love me tender" meal, the chicken fried stake with eggs and hash browns. I'm going to give this place four stars. The reason why is not because their food is particularly great, but because their service is always great. Its prompt, courteous, they don't bug you too much or ignore you. Its always clean. These things are so important! Ok, that said, the food maybe gets a C+ or B-. It is mostly just boxed frozen food thrown in a deep fryer or on the grill. Open a can, microwave contents. WATCH OUT, THEY USE MIRACLE WHIP ON THE SANDWICHES/BURGERS! That shit is a nasty little surprise. I happen to hate miracle whip, its a miracle it hasn't killed someone with its funky taste, and that is why I capitalized that because I know there are other people who feel the same way out there. That shit is foul. So, the food is ok. Would be awesome drunk food. But you feel good when you go in there, they've got the whole 50's theme with the red sparkly vinyl seats and oldies on the radio. It's not braggable, but it's not bad. It's an awesome after-church joint, and it's one that we frequent. It's cozy and the food is pretty good. I usually get the burger with no special sauce (which has miracle whip and something else in it). My brother insists they have the best biscuits and gravy he's ever had. On our way out of Harris Ranch, heading to Yosemite, we stopped for breakfast. The air conditioning helped beat the yucky heat. I have seen Chubbys all over the Central Valley but I had never been to one. Randomly happen to stop in here and the food was surprisingly good. I would not recommend the chicken strips but the breakfast and chilli cheese fries are worth the trip alone read more

This is probably my favorite place to enjoy a nice quiet meal with my boyfriend. This restaurant is never super busy so you don't have to deal with ruckus of a lot of other people. It has an old diner vibe to it which I highly enjoy. The waitress is the sweetest little women who can move quickly and serve you quickly. The food is great and has a nice price to match with it. The food is good, nothing incredible but let's be honest, if you're eating breakfast out you either can't cook or don't want to which means you wouldn't have made anything better at home! Usually this place is great. Came the day after Christmas. I understand being a waitress working alone, so the slowness of the service is to be forgiven. What's not ok is the nerve of the waitress. My mother ordered a coffee and again understandable that things happen. The creamer obviously old, due to it being a mucus like, globby goo. When we informed the waitress, we were told it was not old and that's how the creamer will be every other one. She continued to try and make it seem it was not their issue. In over 40 years of my moms coffee drinking, never have the creamers been like paint. We asked for another coffee and a little bit of milk instead. Annoyed the waitress brought the coffee and no milk! At this point I was ready to leave, however my parents were hungry. We finished our meal and left disgusted. A once favorite place of my parents. We will now never return. Hanford Chubby's from now on. All could've been avoided had the waitress utilized common sense and people skills. Good luck! read more
