This place is an amazing little gem to come and get some froyo!…read more The shop is relatively small, so covid-19 precautions are heavily implemented here. 3-4 people (typically a small group or family) are allowed in at once and if there is a line, they must wait outside for their turn in. Once you are inside, you are required to put on hand sanitizer before touching anything and that station is located right next to the cups, so it's impossible to miss it. There are a few different sized cups, 12oz/16oz/24oz, but I typically go for the smallest one since i feel it's the perfect size to fill me up. There is a nice variety of flavors. These flavors range from French Vanilla, Classic Chocolate, Sweet Coconut, Cake Batter, Original Tart, Dulce de Leche, Strawberry, Mango, Pistachio Gelato & Pomegranate Raspberry. However, I really wanted to try the dulce de leche to see how it tasted so that's the one I went with! Next up is the toppings station! There's so many different options to choose from where you can mix and match to really give your froyo some added personalization and extra flavor. Since i've got a sweet tooth, I added mini M&M's, brownie chunks, granola and 2 pirouette cookies to mine. However, as I mentioned there's a ton of different options that could satisfy anyone. Just keep in mind, when you pay, the cost depends on the weight of the cup and it's contents. Mine was around $7. The froyo was delicious! I had no complaints whatsoever. The shop was clean, the staff was friendly and overall, i'd definitely come back here again!

Rows and rows of vibrant, beautifully swirled gelato in every flavor imaginable Ordered the dubai chocolate flavor and also the tiramisu and cookies and cream. All of them were bomb. The gelato is incredibly smooth, creamy, and packed with real flavor. None of that icy or artificial taste you sometimes get with the supermarket brands. Staff lets you have free samples to taste so you can know which one to order. I love that you can watch them scoop it with care. It really feels like a little work of art in a cup or cone. They also have a great selection of gelato bars and popsicles if you're in the mood for something handheld. The staff is always friendly and patient, especially when you're standing there overwhelmed by all the delicious options. There is also a see through glass where you can see how the gelato is prepared in the back. Whether you're shopping, hitting the water park, or just need a sweet pick-me-up, Lucciano's delivers every time. Fresh, high-quality ingredients and generous portions. If you're in the mall and have a sweet tooth, do yourself a favor and stop here. You won't be disappointed!

The store was basically empty on the Sunday before the major black that happened on Monday. The two men near the register were chit chatting with each other and they hesitated to even come to assist us. As we browsed the Gelato options from left to right for a brief moment we then noticed a family of about five people came in. We immediately noticed the difference in response time to this family's arrival. One of the employees immediately went over towards our left as they entered and said, "Guys, when you are ready to order come over by the cash register." This is why it is important for business owners to train the people they hire about appropriate customer service because although the employees are not owners, they are representatives of the business. So business owners have to be careful about who they hire. Hmmmmm, how convenient for these new guests and inconvenient for us that we were not acknowledged until the employees felt compelled to share this ordering practice with a new group of patrons after we were already waiting. That behavior was enough for us to know it was time to walk out. I refuse to spend my money where I can see overt disrespect.

Fantastic gelato near Times Square broadway district. Perfect for after a show!…read more We sampled a lot of the flavors and they were all very good but the three best for us were strawberry, chocolate, and pistachio. They taste like they use real flavoring and not artificial flavors. Some of the white chocolate flavors are a bit overly sweet for me but that's how real white chocolate is to me as well so all the flavors are pretty spot on.

This review is for the Anita Gelato located in the Theater District (there is more than one)…read more There are many flavors to pick from. The way the containers are sold is what they call a regular, medium and large. We did see cones as well, but we were offered prices for the contaibners, so we went with that. You can have one or two flavors in the regular, up to three flavors in the medium and up to four flavors in the large container. Or, you can have just one flavor - up to you. Note to keep in mind: Gelato melts fairly quickly, so if you select flavors like chocolate, mango, and strawberry mascarpone and ricotta in the same container, you are going to have a gastro-nightmare in your mouth! Therefore, I recommend you select flavors that have similar ingredients or are complimentary in some way. As an example, we got the dark chocolate, the hazelnut mousse and chocolate crunch, and the stracciatella. Our favorite was the dark chocolate (plain). The hazelnut mousse was too grainy and sweet for our liking. The stracciatella was nice, but lacked depth of flavor to the gelato overall. Staff will let you try samples on a small spoon if you are undecided. The line can be long (out onto the side walk) to get in, and there are very few tables. So, when you make your order unless you are there on a "down time" be prepared to walk and eat your gelato (another reason to keep in mind the flavors in case of drips on your clothes)! The scoop is served standing up in the container. After the adjacent theaters let out, the line is long. We got a regular size container and with the tax and tip it was just a little over $11. The regular size container is suited to one person. The medium can potentially serve two people if you share "nicely" with each other! They also sell yogurt and coffee drinks. We were in town just for a few days, so we only tried three flavors, but if we were back in the area again, we would try some of the fruit-flavors they sell. Enjoy!
