It is now a Korean Bakery shop \cafe and still makes very good products, but if you remember the "old PPB" it is not the same at all. Located on the main business district, there is street parking. I stopped in one evening to grab some items to go. The person working the counter was nice enough. They now have cafe\brunch items so it's not just a bakery anymore. Very little Italian pastries anymore; more generic cakes, donuts, cookies, etc are the norm now. Of course Korean specialties too. Their rice donuts were amazing. For many years, local bakeries in the area made a Bavarian creme filled pecan danish ring with streusel sugar drizzled on top. PPB still does and it is Amazing! Worth the trip just to buy this item!

I ended up getting kinako mochi donut holes and some kind of green mochi bun and a croissant. Everything was really good. My son devoured the croissant and I ate the mochi items because they had a nice chew to them. When I ordered the milk, the person brought over a tiny cup of milk and the cashier was kind enough to bring us a larger one with a lid and straw. Service was fantastic and all the baked goods were really tasty. I saw some people eating breakfast and would come back to try that another time.

The store is a no frills strictly bagel shop. No unnecessary items on the menu. It tends to get pretty busy so there can be a bit of a wait but the service is still pretty efficient given the circumstances. Parking can be tough tho on Bergen Blvd so just keep that in mind.
