We got a Rose Lemon Tea and Jujube Black Tea, both with regular boba. We asked for 25% sugar and no sugar, respectively, but both were very sweet. I am pretty sure the rose and jujube they use is like a syrup so they have no control over the sweetness level. Also the boba was chewier than most other places I've been to, so not the best. The prices are great though! Spent $11.94 on the two medium drinks, which is definitely less expensive than in NYC. Their jumbo size is well priced at $7.50 and huge. This is a good spot to fill your bubble tea craving but not the "this is the best spot" imo. I do appreciate that I got in at 7:55pm, and they were still serving a bunch of customers and weren't rude about a lot of customers coming right before they closed at 8pm. Recently came across this cute little bubble tea and coffee shop and i am so glad i did! I live around the real so i was happy to support a local business around my neighborhood. When i went i ordered the passion fruit and kewi boba bubble tea and i loved it. It was still around the holidays so they had the place decorated super cute. The person that assisted me was nice. When i am in the mood for some bubble tea i will definitely be come here. There's meter parking around but just take note that this is located in a busy street. I am sure there won't be a problem with finding meter parking. read more

This place is a gem! It has the cutest little storefront-- anyone could miss but thankfully as I was stopped at a red light I saw the signs about a Candy Cane bubble tea. I was immediately sold. I had to go in. How can someone who loves bubble tea like me-- say no to a holiday bubble tea flavor? It's a small cafe inside, they have nice desserts and wide variety range of bubble tea. I wish I had the woman's name who made the bubble tea for me. It was perfect and looked just like the picture. The consistency of the tea and the boba was neither too chewy nor stale. It was not busy as it was probably due to the snow storm outside. Yet she delicately made it in a quick way where I was not waiting too long. The service was excellent and she was very helpful! I was pleasantly surprised by the taste, size and price of their tea! The one thing I regret however, is not asking for less sugar as the tea was very very sweet. Boba Loca is one of the best places to get bubble tea in Hudson County, hand's down. It has only gotten better as the years have gone by, too! Everyone working here is extremely polite, and there is a variety of boba flavors - there is something here for everyone, from the experienced boba drinker to a newbie. Boba Loca has their top 20 flavor orders/and suggestions - this is an excellent place to start. They will be happy to accommodate you for any flavor combos, of course! My favorite is the almond bubble tea with pudding and tapioca - holy moly, what a delicious treat! I usually get it with no sugar because the boba/pudding/almond combination is sweet enough. Also, Boba Loca offers seasonal and new flavors, too. For example, in the Springtime, they sold a peaflower flavor, and for Christmas, they usually do something similar to a white chocolate mocha. My one constructive criticism of Boba Loca would be the consistency - the workers are super accommodating, but the drink varies depending on who is making it. At times, there is very little pudding or too much boba, etc. This is a small, issue, however! I love this place and will be returning over and over again! read more

I got it full sweet, and it was delightful, not overly sweet. One of the best passion tea's I've had. I also got the mixed Macarons. Very standard, can compare the milk teas similar to vivi bubble tea which is great! I always get the almond milk tea. One thing is the strawberry tea I didn't like, maybe it was just me, but the strawberry flavor tasted like they used strawberry jam. Which to me is a no no. But maybe other people like it. I absolutely love coming here for bubble tea and I'm so happy they're conveniently located on Bergenline. I've gone during the early and late hours of the day and have no issue getting in and out. Their customer service is kind, quick, and courteous! I always get the Mango Jasmine Green Tea with tapioca and every now and then I'll also add lychee or mango jelly. What I like the most is that I feel like I'm not getting gypped because I get a lot of tea and tapioca and I don't even need to ask for less ice. It's perfect as is! Whenever I go to places like KungFu Tea or Vivi, their medium sizes are still quite small and they're pretty stingy when it comes to tapioca. I highly recommend this cute cafe, especially since it's not your basic chain bubble tea place. I've gone here many times and have not been disappointed! read more
