Contacted Anderson Ford about a vehicle on the their website I was interested in. I received an email that they were eager to help me find the vehicle I was interested in. The good news was they were only going to up charge $6,000 more then their advertised price on the company web site not the $10,000 more. Also, they are refusing A-Plans. Test drove a used car with dead battery and they promised they'd check it over. Sent me home with dead battery and burnt out brake lights (2). When I told them about the battery the dealership guy actually said "aw, that sucks." Hard sell on the extended warranty was off-putting also. When I got to DMV, Chuck Anderson had neglected to give me all the paperwork. The employee at DMV even called them and they told me to bring the car back in, thus requiring more missed work. Terrible they don't know what paperwork DMV needs. Everyone is friendly here. Price was OK. This is my first experience going with a local dealership rather than shopping for the best deal. I would not buy a car here again though. read more

Shady, shifty business! Had set up an appointment at 11:00 to discuss purchasing a vehicle after driving the day prior. We arrived at 10:35, another salesman and the used car salesman (whom NEVER wore a mask FYI) were showing the car to another couple and let them test drive it. After waiting over 30 minutes, we were informed the couple had made an offer and were waiting for financing approval! We drove over 30 miles out of our way for a scheduled appointment and they sold the car from under us with zero remorse. Terrible, terrible business. I have bought two vehicles from Chuck Anderson Ford. This last transaction was a horrible experience. I traded for a "quality pre-owned" vehicle that I was assured had been through their service center and was in excellent condition. Four days after signing the final paperwork two service lights came on. After taking the vehicle to the service department I was told that there was a loose wire in the steering wheel and that the catalytic converter needed to be replaced. At this point I has owned the car 2 weeks. When I asked if they could work with me on the cost of the repairs, I was told "that's the risk you take when purchasing a high milage car." During this timeframe I was also getting the runaround about the equity check I was to receive from my trade in. 23 days after purchasing the vehicle I finally received the equity check and front license plate bracket, because the vehicle didn't have one when I purchased it. It was at that time that I was informed that they still needed to perform a Missouri State inspection. 5 weeks after I purchased the vehicle and 2 weeks after Chuck Anderson performed the inspection, I had to have the front brake pads and rotors replaced because they were ruined. The service shop I took the vehicle to told me the car should not have passed an inspection 2 weeks prior. Now I am currently dealing with a leak with the sunroof. If there was ever a perfect example of a "lemon" it would be the vehicle I bought from Chuck Anderson Ford. I will not return to their dealership for even a simple oil change. read more

After a few weeks of emailing back and forth with Jack and a phone call with Chance I finally was able to make it down there to check out their vehicles in person. I fell in love with one and decided to go ahead with the purchase. It did have an air leak sound when driving fast and Jack said he'd have the shop heck it out. I went ahead and bought the vehicle without much hassle. It was close to closing time so Chance flew through the paperwork with me and I felt a bit rushed. After the fact I found that the interest rate was 2.4% more than I was originally told it would be and I've yet to hear from Jack to bring it down to have the windshield checked. It's been a couple weeks. My work schedule is crazy but the first free chance I have during business hours I will be calling them. read more

Had a great experience here at Chuck Anderson Ford. I'm from out of town and decided to get an oil change since I was gonna be on the road for another 10 days, and putting more miles on my truck. My service writer was kind, polite and honest. 3 things I could admire about a business. I typically stay away from dealerships but I would recommend bringing your truck here for service. read more

Recently purchased car from them. The car is great The sales man we had was excellent. But the sales manager nick was horrible. Totally disrespectful to me and my wife. He said there car was the cheapest one in 250 miles and I showed him one 28 miles away for 1 dollar more with 8k less miles. He said ok see ya and walked away. The sales man, myself and wife we all speechless. We went ahold and purchased car because my wife liked the color better. He never came back to thank us or apologize. read more

Really good buying experience and finance guy was heck of a guy from my brothers home town. I'm not easy to sell vehicles to- I'm a very difficult customer when buying vehicles and they handled it well. Only vehicle I have ever bought that didn't come with full tank, again I think a biproduct of my 'shrewd' negotiation tactics. No hard feelings fellas- I'll be back. Sales Consultant mentioned a higher Trade In Price then what was listed on ( Vehicle Trade - In for Application For Title And License ) for new vehicle purchased from this dealership. Spoke to general manager of issue and told me he bid the trade - in price himself then Trade - In Price related to me from sales consultant. General Manager stated you signed the contract and had a lot of laughter of issue and could care less. Asked for the sales person to confront him on trade - in price and told he was out of town. Finance Manager made it sound that Gap Insurance and Tire Insurance was Complements from Loan Company given to me for Protection on there Loan. Never once mentioned there was a extra costs or what it would cost on Gap & Tire Insurance which was added to loan contract. Horrible experience with this dealership that appears to only get that sale and not a customer. read more

Traded a vehicle that dose not have an accident free report and this vehicle is listed on Chuck Anderson Ford Online Web Site in comments & reviews as ** ACCIDENT FREE AUTOCHECK** . The trade in price was lowered towards my Trade In for not accident free and now they are going to intentionally deceive a future customer with Preowned Inventory Advertisement Sales. Same VIN Number, Same Miles listed as it was traded. I brought to Sales Consultant attention that vehicle had been in a crash. There is no way they were unaware that vehicle was in a crash. Beware of this False Advertising Dealership with Used Vehicle Inventory. read more

Terrible experience with one of their salesman. He did not tell me about the car having interior issues- I found out when I called to inquire about upcoming sales, a different salesman told me about it. When I decided to go test drive the car (after looking for a few months, emailing back and forth, and calling a few times to discuss the vehicle pricing and warranty prices) I gave him a call to see if it was still available. (This was both because the dealership was an hour and a half drive away, as well as because the last call we had I was thinking about purchasing another vehicle elsewhere and wanted to make sure he knew I was still interested enough to make the trip.) He went out on the lot and checked, calling me back to say it was still there. When we got there, the driver side door of the vehicle had metal deformation damage and the underlying metal was showing. When I asked why I hadn't been told, he started blaming it on me for speaking with different salesman, and then said that the damage had happened recently (since it had been on the lot.) He then proceeded to say it was still the best price and you cant expect a used vehicle to be perfect. (I didn't, I simply expected some honesty on a possible thousands of dollar purchase.) Had he been honest with me on the phone and willing to adjust the price a bit (because the damage was new and happened on their lot) I would have still bought the vehicle. read more

Went to look at 3 2016 Ford Taurus's on the lot. I looked on both Cars.com and their website. The prices on 2 of the cars were around 20,335 and the 3rd one was 23,500. Went to the dealership to look at them, 1st they had to jump start the car that I wanted to drive. Once I decided on the car, we went inside to work out the deal After coming back, the price of the car went up $6000.00. I showed him the website and cars.com pricing and the salesman told me that there is no way they are going to sell those cars for that price. I showed him the same car at Shawnee Mission Ford with the same pricing on it and the excuse I got was that the person working on the website, placed the wrong prices on most of the cars. (if this was true, then why didn't you go fix the problems. This car I was looking at was the same price for 30 days). I then called back later and spoke with a sales person, who stated that the prices where correct on the internet. So this is a great bait and switch, if I ever seen one. So if you find a car with a good price, don't believe it. Can't buy it for that. read more

I purchased a new F-150 4-wheel drive from them. I told the sales person what my needs were. I needed a truck that I can drive to work on days when the weather is bad (snow). He recommended the F-150 4-wheel drive model because I needed a truck but did not know if I really needed 4-wheel drive. Just this month Feb 2014 we had a 10" snow so I drove the truck to work. The engine lost power (derate condition) and the wrench light came on the dash. All this while the truck was in 4-wheel drive. I had the service center their check it out and was told there was no problem and that the transmission probably overheated because snow became packed around it. The snow was 10" deep on the grass but on the highway it was packed down to 2 or 3 inches. So now I have a vehicle that you cannot drive in the snow which is the purpose of buying it. Beware of the sales people their because they will sell you a vehicle that does not meet your'e needs. read more
