Come meet the big cheese himself at Chuck E Cheese! This place has changed a lot since I was a kid. No more animatronics. There are just giant screens and place kids singing popular hits and Chuck E. Cheese characters as puppets. Low key sad about that. But I understand how expensive that must have been to upkeep. The salad bar is super fresh however. And the pizza is decent. It's not gas station pizza and it's not fine dining. It's Chuck E. Cheese baby. lol watching all the kids lose their minds when the chuckster comes out is worth the price alone. That mouse knows how to make an entrance and throw a dance party. Lots of games to play and lots to choose from on the prize wall. We had the best time and our server Seven worked so hard between two very large parties. I was very impressed with her hard work. Everyone was very nice. The food is actually pretty good. The boneless wings and cheesy bread were my favorites. It seems like a hard job to work weekends like that in bright lights and loud noise. Hats off to Seven! All the parents that attended our party said their kids all want their party at Chucky cheese when it's their birthday. Even the teenagers had a nice time! It's a little pricey but well worth it! We typically don't go here for dinner as we are not a fan of the pizza. It reminds me of cardboard almost. This is a necessary evil for parents who try to treat their kids. This was my first time at this location and it was clean even with all the kids. I saw workers cleaning tables and some of the games during work hours. Wow! Definitely not the establishment it use to be. Staff were rude and acted as if we were nothing them by ordering food. We couldn't find a table and the entire "party area" was empty and they kicked us out and said we would just have to wait for a table elsewhere to open up. There were about 6 tables empty with dishes and half eaten food that had not been busses yet. The food prices were crazy. I ordered a medium size wings with bone-in and it was $25.99. When I picked up the wings there were only 10! Only ten wings for $25.99. And they were the smallest wings I have ever seen. The kids had fun playing the games but for $30 to play for an hour it was a bit steep. I was so disappointed in the entire experience. Hadnt been to a Chuck E. Cheese since we moved here and this was close to our house so decided to try it. Got in the door, hadn't ordered yet when daughter needed to use restroom. As we're coming out of the restroom an employee said they were having a birthday and we needed to leave. She was extremely rude. I've never been asked to leave because there was a birthday. I thought that was the point? As we're leaving another employee asked us why, and when I told her what was said... she looked confused and said we could still stay and eat, but after being treated so rudely I wasn't going to spend money in a place that is already overpriced for pizza that tastes like cardboard. Me and my girlfriend decided to pop into Chuck E Cheese for the sake of nostalgia. We weren't sure what to expect, but we ordered a personal pizza to share and two drinks and sat at a table. Our food arrived and the pizza was actually really good. The crust was slightly greasy, but it was definitely better than Dominos or Little Caesar's in my opinion. I was surprisingly impressed with their pizza, but was less impressed with their sweet tea. The sweet tea tasted like something from a vending machine, and was by no means fresh. It wasn't terrible, but it wasn't something I would get again. My biggest complaint by far is the prices. Me and my girlfriend shared a personal pizza because a medium pizza is about $18, and even then the personal pizza was tiny. We avoided playing the arcade games because for 30 minutes of playtime you would need to spend $16. In order to achieve a full experience at this location you would need to spend at least upward of $50. It's not hard to compare prices of CEC to other companies, and CEC is definitely charging much more for much less food. TLDR: The prices are high and the sweet tea isn't fresh. Chuck E Cheese's ...."Where a kid can be a kid" blah blah I have been to this location a lot of times and even enjoyed playing here when i was a kid my self, now i bring my nephew here to enjoy the place but lately this place has been annoying, way to small and to many people in here over all i am surprised the fire Marshall does not come in here and close down the place for allowing so many people in here when it is so crowed you can barely walk around and you find your self lost in this very small location. My daughter loves this place, and I'd like to think that's a sign of good parenting on my part, rather than a reflection of the establishment. She doesn't see the dirty walls, the stained floor, the broken games, or smell the stench of urine permeating the place, because she's been taught to see (and smell, apparently) the good. As an adult though, I leave feeling like a second shower would be a good idea. I don't dare eat there, this looks like a place you'd eat a last meal (the salad bar terrifies me in a way there aren't words for). The prices seem fair though, so maybe give it a shot if you're feeling good about your odds. The games are priced reasonably, it's just hit and miss as to what will be in working order. That's a pain when there are already so few to choose from, but the worst part of our visits are the people who bring their kids but don't give them money to ride or play. They jump on the rides you pay for, and try to take over games from your kids while their parents look at their phones. Not a bad way for a family to spend an evening, especially if you get a coupon out of the paper. Then you get a large pizza, 4 drinks and tokens for $20. There are a variety of carnival and arcade games like skee ball, racing games, ride on toys, etc. My favorites were the ones that took your picture. They had one that took your kid's picture and printed it out on a plastic card and another that did a sketch with the date; a nice keepsake. There is a climbing tunnel that is suspended in the air which is cool. The Chuck E Cheese character comes out about every hour and walks around and waves to the kids. The pizza is not good but kids won't complain. Thankfully for adults they sell beer, and you might need it because there is an annoying loop of kiddie music/videos that repeats about every hour. There was salad bar that I wouldn't be brave enough to try (it looked like it had been sitting for a while). The place is a little dirty, even when it wasn't busy there was trash laying around. I was going to give it 2 stars but I really like the security they have in place. When you arrive they stamp the adults and kids with the same number. When you leave they check to make sure everyone's numbers match. You can rest a little easier knowing it'll be harder for someone to take off with your kid! read more

It was very clean and their was enough space to move around comfortably. Dayshia was so helpful and attentive . Sign up online to get some awesome coupons! We used a coupon that gave us 120 tokens, 2 lrg pizzas with one topping, and 4 drinks. The pizza was awesome!!! They delivered it hot and fresh to our table with a smile! The 2 pies were more enough for our family of 5. We even have some left overs!!! Our kids had so much fun playing all the games. And so did all the adults! They were all easy to play and gave a generous amount of tickets. The prize selection was different from the usual candy packed choices. It featured a lot more small toys which the kids loved. My younger son was flipping out because he didn't have that many tickets. Dayshia was so sweet and went out of her way to help pacify him! He left smiling from ear to ear! They mark you upon entering with a matching number to your child. When you leave you have to match in order to take the child home with you! I never, ever write online reviews, but I felt like I should for Chuck E Cheese, in particular this location, because if you're anything like me and you've managed to live your entire life, all 34 years (do the math, I'm a child of the 80's so this is an even more amazing fact) without EVER having stepped foot in ANY Chuck E Cheese or Showbiz Pizza (really showing my age there) and you Google Chuck E Cheese reviews in general, the results usually aren't that great. Certainly not anything that makes you want to rush out and go, especially when some reviews refer to it as an establishment that like it's mascot, feeds on the souls of young children. YIKES! But my 4 year old son saw several commercials for it on Disney Junior and has been badgering me to go. And I must admit, I was a little curious as to what all the fuss was about having apparently lived quite a deprived childhood never having attended a Chuck E Cheese birthday party in the 80's. What can I say, my friend's parents apparently preferred McDonald's birthday parties and my birthday is in August and my parents had a pool. This location was nothing like I expected, it was much, much better! We went on a Friday in the early afternoon and left around 4pm as it was really starting to get crowded. It was very clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful! All the games worked and the only issue we had was the ticket muncher thing got stuck, but someone came over right away and fixed it. I don't think anyone comes here expecting healthy or gourmet food so obviously you get what you get in that regard, but the pizza was good, not great, not horrible, but a few notches above "just edible." I didn't even realize they had a salad bar until I went to get our drinks. It was probably on the menu but trying to look over the whole menu, order, pay and keep control of a 4 year old tornado in Spiderman sneakers who is about to run up the skee-ball ramp is a little difficult, so I'm sure I just overlooked it. Whenever we go back, as I'm sure we will, I will definitely get the salad bar though as everything looked like it had just been recently replenished, very fresh. I will definitely bring my son back although I'm fortunate he's just shy of school-age I have a few more months I can bring him back during weekday afternoons and avoid what I can only imagine is the sheer lunacy of this location on a Friday evening or Saturday and Sunday afternoon. And finally, am I the only one who is shocked by the fact that they serve beer??!! It gets worse with every visit. Prices of tickets haven't gone up but it's now harder to get tickets. I spent $20 and got 200 tickets, which is ($2) worth of prizes. We waited 30 minutes to get our food, 2 orders of kids chicken nuggets. Once I got the kids settled down to eat an employee came over and asked us to move to a new table cause she had forgot to reserve that table for a birthday party. I would never ask guests to move at my restaurant especially someone with young kids. Poor planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on my part. I told her we'd be happy to move once we finished our meal. After lunch we played some games and I noticed that the table we sat at was never put to use. So she pissed me off for no good reason. We had a great experience, but I think day and time was a factor for us having a great time. We arrived when Chuck E Cheese opened and left at 1:30 when things started to pick up. Generally, this establishment was clean and staff friendly. 2 machines broke while we were there, but the staff fixed then immediately and returned our lost token. My toddler enjoyed all the machines and the little show. The food is not healthy, so don't expect much in that department. A lot of people are critical of the pizza; however, I think the pizza was decent and hand made. It's pricey for quality, but kids like it. On a side note, they gave us cheese, even though we asked for pepperoni toppings. We didn't send it back--just dealt with it. I noticed that the only other family there (a father and toddler son) when we arrived left without being checked at the door. That's not reassuring. I think the door stamp gives a false sense of security. Hopefully parents keep constant tabs on their kids. Overall, it was a good experience, but I would not venture in on an evening or weekend. So disappointed/disgusted at this location, starting from the staff to the place itself. The staff are rude, very disorganized and you won't see a smile or a polite treatment towards customers. The smell once you walk in is horrible smells filthy. This place needs a deep cleaning, deodorizer and desinfecting treatment ASAP. I have taken my kids and now my grandkids to this location. I have to say, I will not be back until it has been closed for a week or two and given a top to bottom clean. We took our grandkids there yesterday and arrived exactly at 11:00 when they open. The whole place smelt like dirty mop water. The carpets were nasty, floors were sticky. I would not even get straws for the my grandkids, as the straw dispensers looked like they had never been cleaned. The floors around the drinks and where they have their salad bar was disgustingly sticky. I just could not get over the smell throughout of just dirty. Not even sure if they wipe down the games. But, unfortunately, it will be a very long time before I would take them back. It probably should be reported to have inspectors come out and check. read more

We went here for a birthday party at 6:30 on a Sunday when we went to the counter we were told we could order through the server that was in charge of the party (Maria I believe) when she was asked about it she was very rude and said no not unless you are paying with the party you must go to the counter. I am not sure why but about 30-45 minutes later Maria showed up at the table with a clip board and just as rude as could be said "What do you want" I told her nothing we would eat somewhere else when he party was over and she started to argue with me saying who told you that you could order at the table. I saw a man that looked to be the manager walking around and talking to Maria but he never came over to ask what the problem was. I remember loving C.E.C. when I was a kid. Didn't get to go too often, it was always a special occasion or possibly a friend's birthday. When I walked into the Altamonte Springs location last Friday with my buddy, his four year old son and his wife I was shocked at how different this kid friendly chain looked compared to my greasy memories. What I recalled as an expansive pizza parlor packed with interactive games and activities had become a small cafeteria teeming with kids and harsh neon lights. Went in with a coupon: One large one topping pizza, 4 drinks and 50 tokens. We also added a salad bar and a small order of wings. That all came to over $50.00! I was shocked. The wings were teeny tiny. They looked like the pathetic wings 7-11 used to sell a few years back. The salad bar was okay as was the pizza but comprehending the price point for this meal compared to both the quality and quantity of goods served was flummoxing. Was the up-charge strictly for the games/entertainment? Hard to say as the video game area was pretty small. They had their decent selection in the ticket-spewing arcade but the area in general was cramped. There was a nice area for kids to have birthday parties in the back of the building, an animatronic C.E.C. was up there singing about Summer and friends and pizza and such. The few kids who were celebrating that night seemed to be pretty so/so about the whole production though. One thing I would like to mention was the employees and their customer service. I was very impressed. Lord knows working at a place like that (especially when you're in your teens/20somethings) can try your patience from clock in to clock out. That said, every worker I encountered was not only patient but also going all in for the kids, making sure they were having a great time. Kudos--job well done. They may not have the old ball crawl I recall fishing for loose change in as a young DTz, but they do have great staff making up for all that may be lacking. Chuck E. Cheese is a far cry from what I remember, but the young boy I went with seemed to have a good time as did the other kids running around. I would like to add that every game in the place only required one token to play. That in itself is is a nice nod to the consumer even though everything else seemed to be prices a bit high. Came here with my four year old today. There were very few families there but it was around 1 in the afternoon on a Friday so kids were not out of school yet. My daughter had fun. I was not really impressed by the arcade games but my daughter liked them and that's all that matters. Pizza was okay, the same quality I find at little Caesars. We did get checked in and out with the stamps at the door. However there were times when the man at the front to stamp families had to step away to run the register. I have been to this Chuck E Cheese many times and every time I want to run out screaming. The worst part about it is the employees. They are extremely rude including the management. They make it very clear that they are disgusted by the sight of you and your children. After an incident today with them I will no longer be returning to this location which is sad because I have been going there since I was a child. The place is filthy, the drink machines never work right and the way they have it set up the games are so close together that everyone is right on top of each other. I am only giving 2 stars because my 3 yr old had a great time. I wanted to get her out of the house as it looked like rain... So decided on Chuck E Cheese Altamonte location. It was just her and I, my teenagers didnt want to attend. I purchased her the kids chicken nuggets, myself the italian sub, and 20 dollars of play. So over 40 dollars for an afternoon outing. The soda machine has a weird funk smell.. Our means came with fries (about 10- 12 fries.. Lol) they didnt seem like they were cooked long enough. I have no idea what happened to the italian sub.. As it use to be really good.. However it was horrible and here I am 3 hrs later and my stomache is killing me! Chuck E came out while we were there.. But probably would have been a better experience if they kept the mouse in the back.. All the kids were interested but he came out and went straight to the door greeter, who had the kids chant Chuck E rocks.. He threw some tickets for the kids to mash pit over and left.. (What??) What happened to the good ol days when he use to come out, let parents take a picture of their child with him, and do like a train around the game room? It was pretty sad. Alot of the games where way to old and over the head for a 3 yr old to play. Many where just the coin drop games.. Even though you are playing with a play card.. The smell hits you as soon as you walk through the doors. I wouldn't eat food from this location if I was paid to. The whole place is sticky and smells of urine and wet. I'm not sure if the AC was broken or if they just keep it off because it was about as humid in there as it was outside. Walking through the bathroom sounded like I had Velcro on my shoes the sticking sound was so loud. Icing on the nasty cake is that they don't even have the tubes, although based on the cleanliness that's probably a good thing. read more

I know taking her to these kid-friendly places are risky ( because of the germs) but this location seems like management doesn't take much pride in cleaning as I was looking around, and they must not sanitize much because she got VERY sick within a few days of going there.
