This review is merely for the pizza and the service. I didn't participate in playing the games. I came for my friend's daughter birthday party and the last time I came to a Chuck E Cheese was when I was a kid myself. When looking at the menu, there wasn't much that I could order. I was stuck between the salad bar and the small basket of fries. Of course, I was hungry and should have eaten before I came, but I didn't. Luckily, the chick at the counter was nice. She explained everything. I ordered a personal size veggie pizza without cheese. When the food was ready, I was surprised that they didn't mess up my order. They exactly added pineapples and took off the black olives. The pizza was decent to taste, but definitely wasn't nasty, but not overly seasoned or spiced. It was good. I gobbled it right up. The personal option has about 5 slices, but small slices. I paired it with the sweetest drink that I hadn't had in long time: fruit punch. It was so sweet as if I was drinking liquid sugar. The restaurant was clean for what I saw. The staff was accommodating. I'm glad they got rid of the Chuck E Cheese that I grew up with he was very creepy looking. Seeing the new and slim Chuck E Cheese, I took a double take and appreciated this new rat better. read more

We had a great time at this Chuck E. Cheese location. There are so many fun car, boat and themed rides for young kids. You can easily spend a couple of hours here and time just flies by. My little one enjoyed all the rides and wanted to do them again and again and again. The cheesy bread was quite greasy and pizza was decent. Service here is without a doubt horrible lol. We went and it seems like the employees need more training and assistance from managers. I waited 30 minutes to place an order becausd TWO DIFF GROUPS OF PEOPLE could not place their orders bc they wanted to use a coupon or had issues w their reservation! And managers were nowhere to be found or would come out just to stamp ppl. Over all our experience after ordering was fine but only bc theres no more interaction w employees lol. We came here for a school fundraiser and I was pleasantly surprised on the quality of food and entertainment. The pizza was good! We ordered a pepperoni stuffed crust and a supreme stuffed crust. Both were delicious and fresh! My husband also got a salad at the salad bar and it was huge and had all the options . The facility was clean and all the games were in working condition that I noticed. My kid had a blast and loved every minute of our visit. The worst part was leaving because she didn't want to. Not sure if they've redone the inside or what but it looks different since the last time we were here, for the better though. It feels more spacious and cleaner. The pizza for the birthday party we attended was hot and tasty. The tables are long and crammed together to squeeze in as many parties as possible but if you're just coming for a family day out is more spaced out. All games use cards that are swiped that also collect all your points for games. I like that there is a parent check before leaving to scan the code on your hands and your kids hands to make sure they're matching so no one can take off with a kid that's not theirs. read more

Pizza is decent but expensive. No napkins on tables anymore. They have a new jumping cage that they are charging $12 extra per kid which is ridiculous. There was a sign that said closed but several kids jumped in it with shoes on without paying. Easy to spend $100 for a family of 4. read more

Love this place. My sweet grandson likes to get special toys. Putting 4 stars instead of 5 because he slipped and fell very hard in the boys bathroom. I'm not sure if it was water or someone had a little accident in there but i assured him everything will be okay and he hugged me for a very long time. Grandma loves hugs! First time bringing my three yo granddaughter. Staff are clueless. They stay in one corner and have conversations between themselves. No smiles and zero customer service skills. My granddaughter wanted one lollipop before leaving and had to search for someone to help me. I was told that they did not have the lollipop! I asked for the manager. She told me that they could not open any of the display cases to get a lollipop out! I thought I was on a different planet. Now I know why so many locations in California have closed. It's really upsetting that we drove a ways out to come to the DJ Munch glow in the dark party and there was no signage or notifications that the hours had been changed. In which case, the front desk lady rudely snapped that "yea we close at 9." We wanted to come tomorrow evening in which again, your employee rudely snapped as if we were annoying her with our questions to get info. We just walked out of this location after demanding a full refund. This was our first visit. After dropping nearly $80 on just 2 pizzas, 5 drinks and game credits (WTH), we walked towards the main stage and noticed tables that were reserved for birthday parties. We looked for any additional reserved signage and found a table that had no signage and was open. We sat for approx 20 - 30 minutes until our pizzas were brought to our table. After we had begun eating we were approached by an employee who felt he needed to dish quite a bit of attitude as he asked us if we were apart of a birthday party. We stayed that we were not and had just found an open table. He then told us we would need to relocate because the area we were in was reserved for birthday parties. Due to his condescending tone, we asked to please be shown where the reserved signage was. He informed us that there was no signage, but this entire area is only for birthday parties. At that point, my husband asked him again where the signage is showing people that this area was ONLY for birthday parties. At that point, he cut my husband's sentence off and waved his hands at us and said, "You know what, I'll go make a sign!" and walked away. At that point I approached another employ and asked her for the manager. I informed the manager what had just taken place and asked if there would be a birthday party coming soon where we were sitting. She stated there was no birthday party until later. I asked if we could please sit and finish eating. Her reply was that we needed to move. I asked her to please show me signage that stated the entire area in front of the stage was off limits. Her reply was that they use to put signs up but got in trouble for doing that so they stopped. I again asked if we could please finish our meal versus moving 3 toddlers, food and drinks. She again said we had to move. At that point I informed her she would be giving us a full refund and we left. Had we been approached in a more professional manner, we would have moved. The best customer service oriented response to us would have been to explain that the area was reserved nicely and possibly even offer to help us move out food and drinks. I would also highly suggest that they hang signs stating that the entire area around the stage is reserved. If it isn't however, they should try to enforce something that isn't in their policy just so they can keep tables clean for birthday parties later in the day. We visited Gattitown immediately after. Not only did we spend only $40 for a buffet that includes salad and drinks, we also received the same amount of games. read more

My friends and I love this place. For us it's a childhood staple and came a lot when we were younger. Chuck E cheese has good food like the Dr.pepper, great games and fun prizes that where always over priced but added more motivation to win games. I guess I will pop this places Yelp Cherry. lol I recently had my sons birthday party here. I really love how new it is, everygame is nice and shiny, nothing broken. No play area with balls to make that very distinctive smell we all grew up with, you know what Im talking about. lol This location is way better than the old ben white location, much more spacious, it felt like twice as big. The staff was really friendly, managers, party host, everyone. Its a chucky cheese, you know the drill when you come here, this one is the same as most others, but the staff and cleanliness make this one tip the scales a little more in favor of me returning. The only thing I could see being a problem here is parking, the lot is kinda designed weird and doesnt seem like it would hold the amount of people I could see being inside. I am only giving it a star because it's making me. I took my sister here for her birthday. We got two 30 minute play cards. No one said there was only one pause on the cards. When I found out I asked the lady, Esther, to please pause it for me so we could eat and that I didn't know there was only one pause. She took the card and said yes. 30 minutes later after dinner I tried using it and it was empty. I asked her why it was empty because she said she would pause it and she said sorry I couldn't pause it because you had already paused it once.... so i lost 20 minutes of play time. She didn't offer anything for her mistake. She also forgot our beer and never gave us ranch. Most of the games were closed, there is no salad or vegetables at all and the soda didn't work. I love this place. It works for ALL ages, and you can always get coupons online. My children are 2 and almost 4 and we visit Chucky cheese at least twice a month. They both love earning tickets and getting prizes. I love the fact that they stamp you when you enter and no one can leave with your child. Not being in a Chuck E Cheese for a very long time, it was a go to spot while here in Austin visiting my daughter and grandchildren. The service we were given at the front counter was very sub par, the explanation given to us on the menu was not clear or made accurate to us and the assistance given when asking for more utensils made us feel as if we were being intrusive. This was AFTER I spent just under $80.00 on my American Express (which the charge will be disputed) Did I mention that for the countdown until Chuck E Cheese was suppose to come onto the floor and "rain tickets for all the good little boys and girls" never happened. The mouse was MIA! To top it off my 10 year old daughter was hurt pretty bad on one of the rides and absolutely NO fault of her own, with her injury that put her to the ground I had to ask for a manager TWICE to explain this overall experience we received. I took my nephew here a while ago. I was watching him and it was a rainy day. We decided to go here for some fun inside. When we arrived the staff was very nice and helpful. We started off by playing some arcade games. We got the arcade pass which was very overpriced and the majority of games were out of order. He really wanted a certain toy but the games were so rigged he barely got any tickets. It said it was for kids but really it was just a scam he didn't enjoy the games. Then we had pizza which was very bad quality. Our table was dirty and no one came to clean it up. We were just sitting to eat when a bunch of creepy animals come over and start having a noisy concert. It was very disorderly to have a dance party right when we were trying to eat, they should have a different section for that but no right in the middle of the tables these animals performed. Finally we went to play in the playground. Staff was very rude not allowing me in the playground with my nephew even though he was stuck in the slide. Over all terrible day and my nephew went home crying after a staff member dressed as a mouse clapped as he was un stuck from the slide. read more

This location of Chuck E Cheese is our favorite of the three in the Austin area based on cleanliness, size, and proximity. I believe it's also the newest. If we treat the kids to a visit, we usually go when it opens on a weekend day since it gets more crowded as the day goes on. Our last trip there was on a Sunday night and it was an absolute madhouse. So mornings are definitely the way to go. It's what you'd expect from a CEC and is better suited for our kids, who are 6 and under, than places like Dave and Busters or Main Event. It's also a better value because every game is priced at a single token which is roughly 20 cents (you can always find token deals with and without food on their website). This also makes it easier for kids to budget their way down to the end of their game card balance. From a dining perspective, the pizzas are alright but definitely not the draw, at least not with our kids. The other downside are the ticket prizes which are all pretty worthless. But that's not something specific to this location. read more

3 1/2 stars. Pretty clean for a CEC, and they do take the in and out traffic seriously for security. For a day that is 100% young kid focused, this isn't a bad idea. Get 150 tokens for 30 bucks and turn em loose (with close supervision). Gets insanely crowded with birthdays on weekends and they do have the mascot out performing which is exciting for little ones. Or terrifying if you're my child. Not a bad afternoon. We didn't try the food cause... Eew. But for what it is, they get a solid a ok from me. read more

I just took my family to lunch today so we can celebrate birthday grandson who's turning 5. We ordered payed $50 for two one topping and 30 minutes pass for one child to have fun, but the girl failed to let us know to pause a card or you loose your minutes. Go figure who think you would have to pause the dam card to eat or go to the restroom! We told the person at the counter which lied through her teeth said she had informed us!! She would not refund the 30 minutes instead she wanted me to pay another $10.00. Do you really think I should have to spend another 10 dollars for your poor lack of information??I think not. I already wrote a review a while ago, but I am writing another one to remind or inform everyone that if you put a deposit down for a birthday party, you are NOT getting it back, even if you cancel over a month ahead of time. You can't actually get a hold of anyone at this specific location, so you just have to talk to a national call center worker, and they aren't well-informed or friendly. I thought for some reason that since obviously they don't have to rely on people's reservations (they're open whether or not there are any birthday parties, and they host multiple parties at a time) that they would be more lenient with giving back your deposit. Since, you know, they haven't DONE anything. But no. So be sure that you are definitely going to have your party here before you book, and don't bother booking ahead of time since it doesn't seem like reservations ever fill up anyways. The language that tells you that the deposit is non-refundable is somewhat obfuscated on the website (you have to scroll down past the button to go to the next screen). I really wish someone would open up an independent business to rival this place. Back in the day we had Celebration Station, Kiddie Acres, Pandamonium...now we just have this corporate B.S. :-( read more

Only thing I want to mention is Chuck e doesn't always make an appearance on the week days even know there's a count down for the appearance at the top of the hour. Also a warning the staff will try to upgrade your order so you spend more money without you knowing. For instance the girl asked if stuff crust was ok NOT would you like stuff crust for $2.00 more.
