My kids had a great time. They added a "fun zone" which has a trampoline and tunnels to climb up and through. $15 per child and they can spend all day inside of it. The one thing, there is a height limit, my 9 year old was not pleased, since she is pretty tall for her age. Service was pleasant, place was clean. I got a $30 dining voucher for $20 off of Groupon and a play package and pizza for $55. Pizza was decent, really liked the sweet chilli meatballs, the Brookie was meh. Great deal! My daughter loves this Chuck E Cheese location. It is inside the Atlantic Terminal Mall on the 3rd floor. I have taken her here numerous time and she loves the place with a passion. She wants her birthday parties and her graduation party here... which are both coming up this year in June and December. I lost count the number of times I have taken her here. The games and rides are currently all 1 pt to play, which is very nice. Although the food is not the best, it is pricey, but we always end up buying their pizza, cheesy bread sticks, and popcorn. Also had purchased their chicken wings, chicken finger/tenders and gotten their reusable soda cup. We always bring back the cup to get unlimited free drinks (which is a great perk). My daughter love hugging and dancing with their mascot Chuck E Cheese. He comes out every 20-30 mins or so, or maybe longer, I wasn't counting. But in the time span that we stay there, Chuck E cheese came out like 3-4x. I love that parents get to enter for free and you just spend money on what you want you child to play. They also have a soft play space, that is additional purchase, but that soft play space is kind of small. Smaller than the one at Land-of-Fun. I recommend the soft play at Land-of-Fun if that is what you are looking for. Otherwise, this is a great spot for ticketed games, birthday parties, seeing Mascot Chuck E cheese and the kiddie rides. The place loses one star for lack of cleanliness, some time overly crowded and over price food options. Otherwise, it would get 5 stars. I bring my family here on occasion, because my toddler loves the excitement of the occasion, as did I when I was younger - pizza, games, music, lights, prizes, characters...! And to be fair, this one is kept generally clean and accessible for kids. Considering the building and area, it is very safe and we love how they make us take a photo with our kid when entering, to ensure we leave with the same. There aren't a lot of variety in the games, and for sure they are focused on the ticket system, where one can trade them in for prizes. Very few video games that are purely for entertainment. Chuck E. comes out on a regular basis and does a dance routine with the kids - could use some energy but it's good for what it is. The kids enjoy that interaction. The pizza isn't bad to be honest. The salad bar is lacking but could be worse. Of course, prices are crazy but welcome to NYC. The employees have the power to make or break the entire experience. I've been there in the past where a joyful and interactive staff member actually enjoyed their job... and it made the whole experience so much more enjoyable! On our latest visit, most of the employees were approachable at least, even when a game broke down and we had to get help. However, I couldn't find a single one with a smile on his/her face unfortunately. There was one in particular, Savana, that singlehandedly made our visit bad. Not sure if she runs the place or not, but she certainly acted like it, yelling at kids and adults in different areas - the salad bar, the trampoline park, the birthday area, the prize area - never had a good thing to say to anyone and, in fact, was extremely rude to most. Ehh, not the best of places! I ventured here today, for the first, and more than likely, my last time. A few weeks back I brought my daughter to Target and she wanted to go here, but it was too crowded, so I owed it to her, but after a few minutes, I regretted my decision. You walk in, you and your group will get a stamp on your wrist (it's weird because I couldn't even see the stamp, but whatever). You can then proceed to the line with the food packages (pizza or salad bar) or you can engage in free play and purchase tokens or a refillable card. It's a bunch of games here, most of the games are only 1.8 points, which is relatively inexpensive (+1). The staff is pretty young, but they were responsive and helpful (+1). This is a cost effective place to take your kids for their birthday or merely for a leisure day out. It's a similar premise to Dave & Busters-- games provide you tickets, which you can later turn in for a prize (+1) Now, here comes the negative; what's the worst part is, it's mostly not due to the business itself, but it just destroys the fun-- the people here at this location, are the pits. I couldn't count the amount of kids I saw running wildly without a parent in site, kids misbehaving right in front of parents, who were too busy engaged in conversation to parent their minor child. Kids who play a game fifteen times in a row despite a long line of kids waiting for a game. I had a little girl steal my daughters game, that she was playing, but my daughter said it was ok, but I didn't feel it was acceptable. We celebrated our son's 6th birthday here this weekend and the experience was great. Our party slot was for 10am and our hosts Lou and Gabrielle greeted us as soon as we entered. Lou promptly gave me the wristbands for our guests and gave me a quick overview of how the party would proceed. The environment felt safe and not overcrowded. The Store is Cool and the some workers chill but Today(12/28) I was sitting at the table side closest to what they called the gameroom and I overheard a conversation between one of cast members and what I'm assuming is there boss and I was baffled by how the cast member was being spoken to. I visited this location twice, and instantly noticed the changes made due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Upon arrival, instead of stamping the parent/guardian & child to ensure safety, they had us take a photo with our phones that would be checked when it was time to leave. I thought it was clever to incentivize patrons to download the app with 500 free tickets, because our phone's memory is valuable space. I had a bit of a learning curve, trying to figure out how much time of unlimited play that I wanted to purchase based on my son's age and level of attention. So I opted for the safe route and bought an hour at $25 without meals. I felt that it was a bit challenging to navigate the floorplan because there were no age recommendations to help me quickly hone in on the games that were within my child's abilities. Because of the countdown clock on the game card, my son and I were constantly on the move to maximize on our purchase. I thought it would have been helpful to put a limit on the gamecard to ensure that children are not monopolizing specific games. Perhaps you would be placed on a 10-minute timeout on that specific game after two consecutive rounds of play. Additionally, some games like the ones with the coins were a joke. We were unable to earn any tickets from them, because the coins were stuck or went out of bounds. Smh! You can forget about customer service, because there was only one person on the floor and way too many machines to call for assistance. I can only stop the clock on my gamecard and it would have been a waste of time. Despite the hindrances, my son did enjoy the submarine, racecar with Chuck, train, flying plane, raced down the slopes, and trying to guide the ducks in the water. Place is located on the top floor at Atlantic Terminal mall. Once inside it's a hectic scene with running kids yelling and screaming around; adult supervision is nowhere to be found. Stood in line to purchase the Power play card and the stay-in meal combo. Agreed with other Yelpers review; many arcade machines were old, dirty, and broken down. Alerted staffers several times that machines deducted power play minutes without functioning correctly to play the game. Food took a long while to arrive, thought they forgot my table number or just forgot the order completely. My chicken Wings sampler platter did taste pretty good hence my three star review. Chuck E. Cheese mascot did come out a few times to play with the kids and gave out free tickets (that was nice). Speaking of tickets, the redeemable Ticket Muncher machines broke, all of them had error written on it. Had to wait in line with other irate mommies as floor staffs clear out the machines. Bathrooms were kept pretty clean, even with all the kids splashing water everywhere. Overall, an okay experience. We came here for a child's birthday party and while the kids had a great time, I couldn't help noticing as an adult how many things were not working. A great of the machines were not working. You would swipe your card and the points would be deducted. After pressing the button available, nothing would happen and then a single raffle ticket would come out. It was almost as if they knew the machine was broken but let it go on to take people's points and give one raffle ticket as a concession. It also gets very crowded so there is a wait for nearly every game and it is hard to move around because there are people everywhere. I've never been one to take my child to Chuck E Cheese, but on Saturday I found myself at Target in Atlantic Avenue Terminal, picking up an order around lunch time. The only way to avoid missing lunch was to go see the third most famous mouse in America, Mr. Cheese himself--Mickey and Minnie take the first two places, right? We actually liked it. The games especially. The timed game passes rock. You pay, you swipe, your kid has a ball. They had a mini basketball court that my future NBA baller only realized existed when I made him use the bathroom.#momlife. But he had fun running around in the very spacious area, going from one cool video driving game to a fair-type shooting game to a rocking boat game that was out of order. We found a few of them displaying that majorly disappointing blinking error message. I felt a little off balance being there because I couldn't see where he was at all times. The fear! There are so many games and structures, and kids and parents and workers selling cotton candy and balloons (had to buy one for $2) and stuff that adds to the hectic experience of Chuck E Cheese. But there was tight security at the front entrance that made me feel a bit more relaxed, once we were leaving of course. The food was OK--especially the bbq chicken wings in the family sampler. My son's pizza looked a little over done but he ate half of it and I "encouraged" him to eat a few of fries on my plate. We'll probably be back a few times or maybe every Saturday. read more

It looked to be on par with an Applebee's or your standard chain restaurant We spent like 1.5 hours there and my 3 year old was Ready to go. One thing I would complain about or critique is the amount of shooting games. But hey, I'm the parent and we didn't play any games where something was shot or murdered or hurt. I thought is was fairly clean for this venue and the only tears I saw where from the kiddie's that were told it was time to leave. All the machines and games seemed to be working, service was good as expected, food was delivered within a reasonable time frame and seating wasn't too difficult to find. I went here on a Saturday with some friends celebrating their son's 1st birthday, which is a little too young of an age for this place, I'd say it's best for kids around 4 and up. They offer a variety of pizza and chicken on their menu, once ordering you receive a number card for your table and your food is bought to you by a server. There's a drink station where you can get free refills, as well as a paid salad bar. You can also purchase a birthday cake here, same day. The games were pretty decent, there were plenty to choose from like basketball and pink panther. I can't believe I never wrote my review on this place. I once celebrated my cousin's party here and thought it was conveniently located since he attends school in Park Slope. A fight ensued and thankfully it didn't involve my family but the 2 adjoining tables and their families. So, what prompted the fight? Wait for it..... One family was taking too long and taking too many photos with Chuck E...yes, you read that correctly. The fight got so out of control that an undercover cop stopped the fight and was reaching for either a gun or something because they wouldnt stop fighting. Apparently they have undercover cops at all times which is a sign that problems happen frequently. I felt terrible for the families because both parties were escorted out and couldn't continue celebrating the birthdays. When I first came here with my kids before they were 5 I found it over-whelming. The kids would run in different directions. The sounds, crowds, and screens were too much and I couldn't wait to get out of there. As they got older I've learned to appreciate Chuck E Cheese for what it is, a glorious time suck that lets you turn off your brain while your kids are in arcade/video game thrall. The kids absolutely love this place. Birthday parties are so so easy. It's formulaic, simple and inexpensive (compared to other party places). Upon entry, kids and adults receive matching stamps which are checked when exiting. This gives me peace of mind as I know the kids can't escape even when out of sight. I've thrown two birthday parties here over the years and both went off without a hitch. The hosts are always on top of things and respond quickly when I need extra bracelets for unexpected guests, extra plates, drinks, big bag to throw all the gifts into etc. Guests come to the party, receive their game play cards, run off to play with their friends, come back for pizza and meeting with the mouse, cake, additional playtime and it's done! My one recommendation is to tell your kids to save their tickets for a "big ticket item" so you can just keep adding to your ticket collection instead of standing in the very long line to exchange your winnings for some plastic garbage. Just celebrated my son's birthday party and I must say that I was very impressed. Everything was wonderful. We had a great host, her name was Talia. She was very attentive and always there when we needed her. The pizza was great (plain and pepperoni) also the wings platter of BBQ and buffalo. We got the Super Star package which was $23.99. We also had chocolate and vanilla ice cream and the vanilla cake with icing sprinkles was delicious. Every one had a great time especially the birthday star who got to go in the ticket blaster. Being childless but having a kid (little cousin) thrust on me on my day off of all days was a jarring experience. I had to formulate a plan of action that would rightfully crown me the best cousin in all the land. I haven't been to a CHuck E Cheese in years and never to this location so I felt like a noob as I walked in with child in tow. I was greeted by a nice young lady who asked me if I was there for a party and then asked if we were just there for the gaming or did we plan to eat as well. I was unsure so she stamped us in and informed me that all the tables were reserved. More on that later. My little cousin walks me over to the machine that you use to put money on a plastic card so that the kids can use as currency. It was pretty affordable, $20 can get you a good amount of play time so that was a pleasant surprise. Unfortunately to me the place looks pretty barren,there aren't that many machines or games in my opinion so it got pretty dull quickly watching my cousin look around for the next game to play and going back to the same game or having to wait her turn. The place quickly started to get packed. So the tables that are all reserved? Apparently you cant sit in their precious booths unless you are eating one of their famed pizzas. I did NOT like that, I had to stay on my feet the whole time trying not to lose my cousin in the throng of folks.This was a turn off to me so I spent my money at Buffalo Wild Wings which cost me more but a point had to be made! If you are going to Chuck E Cheese's without a child you have much larger problems than your e-persona on Yelp so we can just leave it at that. This was not my first trip to Chuck E Cheese's. I have been to a variety of outposts over the years with my kids, all begrudgingly so because I find them all to be dirty on top of dirty. However, there are a million little hands eating food and playing games all day, I can't blame them for it getting dirty, but I can blame for it staying dirty. This Chuck location was pretty clean early on a Saturday morning as I dropped my daughter for a birthday party. I surveyed the machinery and shockingly, almost every game appeared to be working. Again, if you have never been to a Cheese's in another location, usually half of the games are operable at best. If your kids don't enjoy themselves at Chuck E Cheese's, it is probably your fault. It is like a kid not liking bubbles or balloons, it's basically impossible. The lure of spending $20 after $20 to win tickets that turn into a stuffed animal for 1,000 tickets is crystal meth for kids, they just can't get enough. The most important thing about all Chuck E Cheese's and this one as well is that when you enter with your child, you and your child both get the same hand stamp number. You can not leave the place unless your hand and your child's hand matches. So although it is occasionally dirty and unkempt, loud and universally disgusted for its food, it is a classic destination for kids for a couple of hours and it is comparatively safe. NEVER AGAIN IN LIFE! Extremely crowded and not enough things for children 4 and under to do. Parents let their children run around unsupervised and then want to scream and disciple the child loudly because they couldn't find them. This made no sense whatsoever. On top of unsupervised children and loud parents my son and myself were literally followed around the game section by a group of three little boys. First they asked me for my tokens. Of course I told them no. So instead of them asking their parents for money they followed us and waited for us to play a game then jumped in and tried to play with us. I didn't mind at first but drew the line at the basketball game (there was only two basketball and four kids trying to share which meant my son got bumped out of his own game). The place isn't that clean, the food is overly expensive, the wait for the food is ridiculously long and the prizes are horrible. We stayed for about one hour and left. Next time I'd rather take my son to the ball pit at McDonald's playhouse before I come back to Chuck E Cheese. Overall: Never again! read more

Hide yo wife! Hide yo kids! This place is for the rats and I don't mean the big scary mascot. I have nephews and lots of little cousins around so I've had a go a few times at this establishment, though admittedly, it's been in the burbs. I went with my cousin and her son to celebrate his belated birthday and we thought it would be perfect since we also needed to go to my favorite place in the world (Target) after a few hours of unlimited, sensory overload fun. Pro: You automatically get a table when you purchase food Con: The food took over a half hour to arrive Pro: The salad bar was half decent and apparently people like to use cheddar goldfish as croutons. Con: Fries were really cold when they came out Pro: They use some sort of system to stamp a number on your hand so you can't steal people's kids Con: There were no children worthy of kidnapping. There were a good group of little tyrants running around and I even heard a few drop the F bomb like it was nobodies business Pro: Bathroom is kid friendly. They have small toilets for the little people Con: Not that helpful to have these little toilets when there are doors missing Pro: Good number of trash receptacles Con: So why was there a mound of chicken wing bones and pizza crust on the floor? Pro: Going with a 2 year old means that you don't have to purchase a lot of tokens and when they run out you can still take him to games and he thinks he's playing. When I'm in Brooklyn and I have a hankering to get my Skee-Ball skills on, I head on over to Chuck E. Cheese. This place has pretty much every kind of game you can think of: pinball machines, skee ball, NASCAR racing games, basketball shooting games, a video version of "Deal or No Deal" and of course Whac-A-Mole. You know: Whac-A-Mole, where you have to use a mallet to hit the head of moles that come out of the various holes. The perfect game to play when you're pissed off at the little kid who cut you off at the Simpsons video game and you need to take your aggression out. I only give it three stars because, on the day I went, there was no mallet for Whac-A-Mole so I had to use my hand, which was hurting afterwards. Also, the air conditioner wasn't working by the video game section so we were literally steaming. The main thing you have to put up with are the little witches....i mean children who are running around the joint. Sure, it's a little funny when they're watching me hit stage 20 of Galaxian but it's even funnier when I'm pushing them out of the way so I can redeem my tickets for a prize. read more
