1st time of my family to experience CC in this area, tried to get a pass so we can go back all the time. Happy to see our son enjoying the place but one of the lady staff with unicorn hair color ruined it. Ofcourse we know the trampoline policy, kids will be kids. Managing issues should be more patients as they work in the kids place. But accusing parents right away and disrespect. Talking to us unpleasantly is kinda off that makes me talk back. Its sees in the camera anyway... We tried to called our son to get out from it, wife tried to deal my son so he will get out holding the gate to open wide.. as we dont want to jumped inside too. We did not see staff around, By the time i came in to get my son and this lady staff arrived, talking to us as if we unhook the gate and just let our son go in and play in the trampoline. I haven't been here since I was a kid. I was pleasantly surprised how fun it still is! The staff was friendly and polite. It was pretty packed for a Sunday. We will definitely be back! We booked my daughter's 2nd birthday here last minute and it was a huge hit. The staff was so friendly and helpful. l loved that the 2 hour time limit for playing games started when the kids scanned their own card not at a specific hour. It's inevitable the someone always end up late and this way no kids had to miss out on game time. I also loved the flexibility the kids had to eat pizza and play games as they felt like it. Our group was ages 1-7 so it was perfect that everyone could do their own thing. My 2 year olds favorite thing was the trampoline. Since we booked our party on a Monday at noon when it wasn't crowded she was able to spend almost the entire time jumping on it and didn't want to come out. It was definitely worth the added on price. I'm so impressed but how much we got for what we paid. We did the Ultimate Package and it included 2 slices of pizza and unlimited refills in souvenir cups, with dip and dots as dessert for each kid. We had some allergies and there was even a dairy free option. Plus a large pizza for the adults to share, 2 hours of unlimited play time per kid, a personal interactive show with Chuck E Cheese, a chance to go in the ticket grab booth for the birthday girl and gift bags for each child. My friends said they are considering having their children's parties here because it was so well done. Thank you again so much. I came to visit my lil munchkin cousin at Chuck E Cheese. I was secretly super excited because it brought back old memories of.... Not the games, not of the scary robotic rat show BUT THEIR BREAD STICKS!!! I said Hi to him and watched him run around for a bit but then ditched him and made a B-line to order the bread sticks. While in line, I noticed the games being better than what I remembered, they freaking have beers ON TAP (whhhhaaa?!) and a salad bar. We had to wait a while for the bread sticks to come out but when it did, it looked like it was in the oven a taaaaaad too long according to the color. As I took a bite, my first thought was.... it's nothing like what I remembered AND the marinara sauce was super sour like border line rancid! I think this Chuck e Cheese is one of the better locations out there. It's big, clean, and things look fairly new. They also have the standard safely measures in place. I actually really like their pizza. It's not so salty or greasy like some other pizza places. Staff was friendly and helpful. Busy location. The games are fun. The best ones are the ones where you can take pictures. Some machines can be out of order at times. I like that the machines require just one token each. One thing this location does that I haven't seen at other locations is that Chucky walks around and throws tickets up in the air so that the kids can pick it up on the ground. It's fun for the kids because they race to get the tickets. The birthday package is good because the birthday kid gets a balloon guitar and balloon hat. They also get to go in a ticket blaster machine to get as many tickets as possible. Overall, they are generous with the tokens. The prizes are average. Fun place. read more

Waited 50 minutes for a personal pizza. When I went to the food pick up area one of the moms was talking about how they are touching all the food without gloves. Looked sound the corner and sure enough they're doing everything without gloves. not to mention the girl working the register had to have us repeat our two orders back to her 5 times and still didn't get it right. Very impressed actually. Victoria at the front counter, and handling the guests as they walked in was very friendly, helpful and professional. I hadnt been here in years, and there are many changes in regards to the games and packages you can buy for the food and game play. She rocked it. Held her composer and took her time to explain to our family without making us feel rushed so she could help her other customers. I love the changes that they have made. The kids can now buy game cards for 30min unlimited playing time or 45min. It made it so easy and fun! The pizza tasted good and the restaurant was clean. Kudos to Grant who helped us out with our order and worked the prize table. He was so helpful and patient with the kids when it was time for the prize selection. Only reason why I'm rating this 2 stars is due to the lack of cleanliness at this location. Highchairs were FILTHY and they clearly had been used because there were bibs that were placed on each of the high chairs and restacked. Food wise - Pizza was actually REALLY good - Almost better then most delivery joints. Only has 2 beer selections and looks like 1 wine selection. They could improve this a bit and offer more of a selection to increase their sales. Games - Our son had turned one so we took him here for his 1st birthday dinner. 2 of the 3 games we tried had some sort of mechanical issue. 1 of them was in the toddler area and was a train - It didn't move until right before the game was over. We come here all the time and love it! I think I love it even more than my toddler. Everyone here is super nice!! It gets crowded on weekends but it's still fun!! Benji was an all star today and he helped fix a couple games that weren't working for me. There are always coupons on the website and if you get the app you can get even more rewards. I feel good knowing that they match the adults' stamp with the child's stamp to deter kidnapping. This place is great for my three year old and we always have fun. read more

I wish I could give Ziro star. Last weekend we had a party to celebrate my children's birthday. My children love chuckee and asked us to invite their freinds to chuckee cheese. Although we choose the mega super star package, the top party package, we needed to ask them every service that they was supposed to operate, even ticket blasters. The hosts and hostess were so rude and unorganized. They threw foods, plates and forks on the table. Also, they didn't help us to serve pizza or cake. It was the most stressful party that I have ever had. I never recommend this place to anybody.The costs that you pay for party package is not worth. read more

Finally took my almost 2 and 4 year old boys here. I've put it off for a while but finally gave in and I'm glad we did. I don't have much to compare it to since I haven't been to a ChuckECheese in probably 25 years, but this was a positive experience. We went on a Sunday evening (5-6ish) and it wasn't very crowded at all. The place was clean and my kids had fun and I felt safe with them running around from game to game. I can't give any feedback on the food since we didn't eat here but it looked like I would expect- greasy pizza and a limited salad bar. My kids had a great time (and so did my husband and I). They have a small toddler area with a climbing structure and a few tiny "rides" and lots of other ticket winning games; including a few that even the adults will enjoy (ski-ball, football toss, ball throwing at the clowns, basketball, etc). They stamp your hand when you come in and check it when you leave to make sure you leave with the kids you came with. Other reviewers seemed annoyed by the process, but I was quite impressed. I'll take an added layer of security for a few moments of inconvenience any day. This is a great place to spend an hour or two, tire out the kiddos and that surprisingly won't cost you an arm and a leg. I doubt we'll become regulars, but I'm sure we'll be back. read more

This place is Understaffed, they have one cashier doing the job of three people. Poor thing was running around like a chicken with it's head cut off, trying to accommodate everyone.. A lot of the games had no tickets and no attendant to help. Management needs to step it up and hire more people on the weekends. First time going to a Chuck E. Cheese in south oc. Location was nice w good amount of parking, but the place was smaller than others I've been to. Dont think that was an issue though as it wasn't very crowded, even with it being a Friday night. Place was cleaner than most and the crowd was a lot less rowdy, which are the exact things I hate about Chuck E. Cheese. Was able to stack coupons and kids had a lot of fun. Our kiddos had a great time, the food wasn't horrible (a little greasy but hey... it's CEC pizza), the staff was the usual young type but plenty helpful and friendly. We were visiting the grandparents and made a trip to CEC on a Friday between 3-6pm. Became busier toward the evening but not crazy. We will be returning and also would recommend to other families to give it a shot. We normally frequent Dave & Busters at Irvine Spectrum but were not really in the mood to deal with the crowds so we ended up bringing our boys here. It was a Thursday afternoon and we basically had the entire place to ourselves (I think there was a lady and her granddaughter there but we rarely saw them). We had our daughters 4th birthday party here. All we had to do was show up!, the table was all decorated and set up for us with her name on it. We had our own server who was very accommodating as things and came up and headcount varied. Kids all had a blast with unlimited game play for the two hours we were there. Here's the best part of the story and goes to show how much they care about their customers. The power went out on the entire block in the last 15 minutes of the party, we decided to open up the gifts with our cell phone lights and be on our way. The franchise owner later called me and informed me our party were to be comped the entire bill due to the power going out even though we enjoyed most of our time and food. Let me preface this review, I am a grouchy old fart and got 'volunteered' to take our 4 1/2 year old for a Birthday party...of other assorted 3 - 10 year olds.....along with enough assorted Parents, Grandparents, sisters, brothers....well it looked like a Family union of the Waltons, for each kid. (Real quick - When I was a little kid, my parents dropped you off at your buddies house with a present in your hand and picked you up in about 3 hours full of sugary drinks, cake and Ice Cream. The adult participant was the Mother and maybe the Dad, who over saw the bedlam of a party, unwrapped the gifts and sent all the little 'nose pickers' home three hours later.) .....now these friggin Celebrity Party's involve more adults than kids and guess who behaves badly.....the friggin Parents. Here are the pluses, they are few - 1. They serve beer. 2. When you are done with the party, you and you're assorted Clan, walk away. The staff cleans up..... That's why it's at least $13.00 per kid attending the party. 3. See item 1. If you're between the ages of 3 and 9, well I will assume it's a blast and a half! If you're over 50....well, see item number 1. Suggestion - Go to the Shooting Range or a Sporting Goods Store and get a pack of the GREEN foam ear plugs. The GREEN ones tend to block out more of the high pitched screams emitted by small children and/or little girl's. A root canal performed without Novocain is more tolerable than a visit, for a normal adult, to Chuck E Cheeses. Suggestion - Solicit the aid of an older sibling or relative to take them there. Bribery may be necessary, but whatever the cost...it is worth expense....just to NOT have to go or attend a party there. This is a 'Living Hell!', for an adult. Next time you are performing the requisite biyearly religious attendance at the 'Thumper Mill' of your choice, and the Cult Leader brings up Hell....well stop by CEC and see it in action for yourself, that is if you're over 50. read more

This review is specifically targeted at the manager and/or franchise owner as if I was running a Chuck E Cheese and had an employee that was so poorly trained and incompetent that she was driving customers away, I'd sure as heck appreciate knowing about it. First, the good stuff: the location was mostly clean. It's been 10 years since I've been inside a Chuck E Cheese and I didn't remember the pizza actually being edible. Most importantly, my daughter had a great time on her 4th birthday. With that being said, my wife mentioned to me if we ever throw another Chuck E Cheese party, we should find another location. The reason: Dealing with our party host. "Delia" while amusing, made for a poor experience. First, she brought us back, and the other employee setting up the tables said, "oh we're not ready for you yet." OK, no big deal. #2. All the tables around our party area were filthy and covered with trash. Instead of making sure they got cleaned up, Delia came to us and asked, "would you like us to clean the dirty tables.?" #3. When it came time to order our pizzas, I made sure to order a combination - like every pizza place on the planet has. She asked, "a combination of what?" and I told her every pizza place has a combo pizza. She claimed Chuck E Cheese makes no "combo" so I found an employee to assure her that yes, there are combo pizzas at Chuck E Cheese #4. It was order soft drinks time. We ordered several pitchers, including Coke. 10 minutes later, we're told they don't have Coke. When I asked what other options, we were told "A lot, but I'm not really sure - I don't drink soda" #5. Pizzas are brought out. We have been assigned two sets of tables. There isn't enough room on table #1. Even though table #2 is empty, Delia attempts to set pizzas #3 and 4 ON TOP OF THE OTHER PIZZAS! We had to suggest to her she put the pizzas on the tables with nothing on them. #6 The bill comes, and because we ordered extra things, instead of the $340 we were originally quoted, the bill is $360 or something like that. I say, "that's fine" and hand Delia my credit card, and she proceeds to walk me through the receipt line by line. I tell Delia, no I don't care, I'm sure the total is fine. Delia starts arguing with me. I want to enjoy my daughter's party, not be forced to do a line-by-line audit of a bill I've told our erstwhile host several times is "ok." I literally had to tell her, "NO. LEAVE." to get her to stop vomiting about the $2.10 paper cup charge and other nonsense. So - bottom line: Chuck E Cheese, and this location = good. Advice to manager, send employee to pizza school or train employee,, you are losing customers. There were 25 people at this party and you can bet anyone with us will choose to book at a different Chuck E Cheese than yours next time there is a a party. read more

4.5 Stars I came in w/ my niece and some friends on a Thursday night, so it wasn't packed at all. We had some coupons for the food, drink, and token combo. The cool thing is that they let you use more than one of the same coupon (which is nice for tokens). AND every game on every machine is 1 token (25 cents) For the food, we had a pepperoni/supreme pizza and a hot wings, cheese sticks, celery, and fries plate. The food was a bit greasy, but above average. I enjoyed the pepperoni pizza. Also, there was a wide variety of games. Mostly games where you can win tickets such as skee ball, basketball, wheel of fortune, coin toss games. The game that we all played was Deal or No Deal, like the TV show, which allows you to win between 2 and 80 tickets. A lot more than other game machines. We got addicted to that for a good hour. The service was very friendly. And Chuck E. came around to greet everyone, which was nice. I'd probably come back. read more

FOOD POISONING!! I hate to have to write this review, but don't want this to happen to others. I went here with my children a couple of weeks ago and we ordered half-cheese/half-veggie pizza. We all got food poisoning the next day, which was really unpleasant during our vacation!! Even our little ones had to deal with the effects of food poisoning - and we didn't even order meat on our pizza. Wow - I am sooooo unimpressed that they managed to mess up plain cheese and veggie pizza. Don't know what happened, but we will never return. I think this is the best ran Chuck e Cheese in the OC. I have been to three birthday parties here with my son and all the games work here. Jesus and his team does a great job keeping the place clean as well as maintaining great customer service. Our family recently hosted a birthday party here and purchased the summer play pass and we had a blast with our 11 year old. Samantha was our hostess and she was great. Last thing, the pizza here is also really good. My expectations were pretty low since I am not a pizza guy but my wife enjoyed it. Their new Hawaiian summer pizza is great. read more

The place is disgusting inside, none of the walls are finished, there were cords everywhere, and overall it did not feel safe for a place that is for children. The food is mediocre at best, and overpriced. The bathrooms weren't clean, and one of the stalls in the women's bathroom didn't even come close to the door shutting. If they are going to do that much work on the building for it to look like that, they really need to just close for a few days to complete the remodel. read more
