Got a Groupon to try and found this place in an eerily deserted mall with most of it's stores closed. Lots of machines to try and some are pretty easy so you'll be able to win something in maybe 5 tries but still not really worth the price even with a Groupon.

Went again a few weeks ago because I had to use my Groupon. the staff is still very rude and condescending. Will not be returning back after this (as a long time customer)

    Winnings from $20 in tokens

Had a five star experience with their Buena Park location, so I stopped by this location at the Westminster mall as I had an hour to kill. Overall, I think it's fun. Won five plushies with my $20 (see pictures for my haul). With yelp check in, ended up getting 24 tokens for $20 (normal rate is 22 tokens for $20 and 2 bonus tokens for check in). They do give an extra three tokens if you write a review. I didn't try take advantage of this offer, but this is why there's the yelp warning for "suspicious reviews". Compared to my experience at the other locations, the difference was that employees felt more helpful elsewhere. Your miles will likely vary with talking to staff and asking for help. If you really want to come home with plushies, then you'll have to choose your machines wisely. There was a batman and pikachu plush that I liked, but I left behind. If you get too emotional and you go for plushies that are packed in deep, then you'll just get frustrated. Two important notes: 1) The quality of the plushies are nice, but they do not appear to be official licensed products. (If you look at the picture of my haul, you'll see the blue hello kitty plush has "helle kitty" written on its foot). I'm fine with this as my main priority was to have fun; however, it's relevant to note. 2) If you cherry pick for easy plushies, you could trade them in for larger plushies that are positioned behind the front counter. There are some impressively large plushies that you could trade for 3-20 smaller ones. This offer is only good for things that are won during your current visit.

Kawaii Klaws is located inside the Westminster Mall. My sister and I came when the mall was closed at 7pm, but Kawaii Klaws stays open till 8:30pm on weeknights. The mall entrance by Luxe buffet stays open for you to go to Kawaii Klaws. They have a TON of machines! All the plushies are super adorable. It seems all the machine is 1 token and 1 token is $1! Pretty good deal. If you check in on yelp, it's 2 free tokens. They have token machines throughout the place, but it only takes exact cash. You can purchase tokens with card at the counter. My sister and I had a ton of fun and we both got plushies! Would definitely come back.

We were in town visiting some friends and I saw this place on my IG feed. We wanted to take the kids to play but I think the adults ended up enjoying it more lol. Anyways this place was pretty kool but walking thru the mall to get to the place was sad. Malls aren't definitely like they were back in the days. Ghost Town. The folks working there were very nice, friendly and attentive. This place was bigger than I expected. We purchased the special on coins (cant remember exactly how much) but we had enough to win a few plushies. The selection of the machines were awesome! There was a machine we all wanted to try and win! We all left with a plushie each.

    So cute

This place is so cool! Each play is a dollar and on my first try I won this cute little acorn frog. I named him Fred. I've never won before like ever in my life! So I stopped while I was ahead. I'll come back and try again next week

Very fun claw machines for kids and families! Got some prizes in no time Easy to exchange coins, a lot of variety, and plushies were very cute.

Came across this place on Groupon. They had a good deal where you can get $20 worth of tokens for only $13. They are located at Westminster mall so parking was easy to find given that this mall doesn't get that much foot traffic. Inside, it was pretty big with lots of machines to choose from. It's one token per play and the claws here are not rigged and can hold a good grip. They have a good variety of cute plushies from Sanrio to anime but they're not authentic, just something to keep in mind. I still had fun though and I won a couple plushies. Definitely a great place to take your kids or have a date night.

Not official plushies but there were a handful of cute stuffed animals in the machines.

Something might be going on in Westminster mall as it seemed that Kawaii Klaws was one of the few places not perspiring to shut down. I definitely recommend going over if looking for a fun activity. At $1 per game, who wouldn't want to try their luck with a crane game? (Don't forget to checkin for 2 extra shillings!) Staff is very polite. The girl at the register was apologetic as they couldn't exchange coins for us because we were a little early. They have token machines but they only accepted cash at the time. The crane seemed pretty fair or at least teased us with its ever so slight strong grasps on the plushies. In total we spent around $20 per plush. Overall, it was a fun experience and I'm glad that something like this exists.

I love Kawaii Klaws. It is perfect to spend time with friends and family. It reminds me of the machines in Japan. This place is definitely winnable. Tip: you can double tap when the claw touches a toy. Check in for your two free coins! You can get a price break when you buy coins in bulk. Get your friends and family together and split the coins. It is good value. This is a large venue with many machines and plushies to choose from.

    First time here yay!

Our first time here. First time hearing about this place was on Instagram. We had to make a stop at the Westminster Mall yesterday to do a return, so before doing that we headed into Kawaii Klaws. First thing we had to do first was get some tokens for the machines. We head over to customer service desk and they were helpful. They had a variety of cute prizes in their claw machines. Overall cute claw arcade.

Nice retail space changed to just have a bunch of claw machines. Wasn't packed at all. They accept card at the front desk and cash at 2 separate self serve kiosks. A lot of people were winning very easily, my daughter wasn't unfortunately, she did win 3 things out of $40 Each game is $1 - 1 token All the different plushies are pretty cute ETA: staff is amazing. They would open the machines and set up stuffies to make it easier for kids And then $60 later they saw how desperate she was for cinnamon roll, and gave it to her! That is amazing and awesome and now my daughter says we need to come back all the time

My family enjoys claw games and this was another good option to visit while in OC. It's in a pretty dead small and difficult to get to because some of the mall esculators don't run and some stairways are taped off. The games are similarly priced as the location in Buena Park, but this one seems larger inside and has interior seating. The service was standard and prize winnings were good quality and quantity.

    His winnings!

Parking is free, and there are plenty of spaces when their isn't other events or services going on at the same location. My first visit was for a family kid's birthday party, and we were all pleasantly surprised. The party itself was organized well and had its own area inside one of the buildings. We had our own area decorated (you can bring your own decorations, too), and the food was fantastic for amusement park food. We had pizza, turkey sandwiches, chicken tenders, soda, and punch. We had about an hour for lunch before being released to enjoy the rest of the park. Many of the staff were kind during the party and throughout the park and made the experience that much nicer. The variety of rides here will please most young kids and adults. There are a couple of roller coasters, a carousel, a train that circles once around the park, and many more rides. I'm surprised how much they fit into the park space. There is also an arcade and a petting zoo. For food in the park, you have the standard burgers, pizza, tenders, pretzels, churros, ICEE, ice cream, and more. The prices aren't too bad either. Plenty of snacks and merch to purchase, too. There are also plenty of places to sit and relax, with shaded areas. Especially needed during a warm SoCal day. It was the first time for many guests in our party, and everyone enjoyed the experience. Many of the kids want to go back and have their birthday parties here next year, too.

We had a lot of first time bowlers (kids and adults alike), and they had lots of questions, requests, etc. Again, the staff handled it like pros. The place is modern and clean, from the floors to the restrooms, and there's seating in the rear with a pool table and a room for birthday parties and such.
