I took my kid here two weeks ago, and I will say I was surprised how sweet and nice the Staff are and my son who has never been here ever before really enjoyed himself. The games really fun for him the little rides he enjoyed and the highlight of his day was when Chuck E came out to dance with him and the other kids I loved it so much that I plan to book his birthday party and any future other parties here because I find it so affordable so fun for young kids and it's so age-appropriate for the kids to play here. I also had the pepperoni pizza and I was actually surprised how delicious it actually was like I was expecting it to taste awful but I really liked it so I think this location was very chill. We used to love this Chuck E. Cheese (we've had at least two birthday parties for my kids here), but it's gone downhill. We went on a Wednesday night during Spring Break. I presented an expired Groupon and asked that they honor it as cash (not for the purchased deal, which was no longer available) and the manager wouldn't do it, despite that being Groupon's policy (from Groupon's virtual assistant, "The paid value ($54.99) never expires. You can still use it directly with the merchant by presenting your voucher via the mobile app or as a printout upon arrival"). Many of the games at the location were non-operable, and they removed some of our old favorites and replaced them with pay-to-play games (e.g., a huge claw machine game that only took cash). They also changed the case of items that could be redeemed with tickets so that some can now only be purchased with cash. We ordered three pizzas, including one personal gluten free pizza. The pizza was small (the size of one of their serving plates) and was about $17 for cheese and sausage. This place was previously expensive, but worth it -- now it's just ridiculous. It was extremely noisy and we saw a dad take a picture of himself at the Chuck E. Cheese picture station flipping off the camera... I mean, not the best for a place that caters to kids. Chuck E. Cheese is well Chuck E. Cheese. Keep your expectations in check :D It's like a little arcade in there. A decent amount of games. Some are a little pg-13 rated (there was one where you put out the fires but it's a school burning down and the monsters show their butt crack). The adventure kids zone was small but my kid enjoy the set of three trampolines. It's an extra cost to use this spot and they provide the grippy socks. The food is disappointing. Eat first and bring your snacks. My toddler took a bit and didn't want more pizza (that's a first). The salad bar is the saddest most sparse bar I've seen. And the one soda machine was super watered down. However the one on the right was fine so make sure to check both. The price isn't bad over all and it's worth a visit (again without the food). No more stage and the Chuck E. Cheese mouse came up but he was moving at a snail's pace. I felt bad for the guy. The one thing I couldn't handle was the constant loud music blasting. It was making me and the kid go crazy. And lastly saw a mom vaping in the corner of the dining area. So grossly inappropriate. read more

It was like a mini movie theater! Watch the video. They remodeled and took out all the animatronics, the Chuck E. Cheese, they also took out the ticket, win blower thing for birthdays. I believe it's a sign of the Times. Additionally, My daughter misses some of the vintage fun arcade stuff such as the horse that trots. And all the build build a bear mechanism, and items are gone. The only reason it didn't get five stars is because, they still have a solid bar however they didn't have an all you can eat pizza bar. Ultimately signed up for the Silver Membership because I read that you can go to any location with that pass. It's been really fun exploring other locations that are convenient to my location. The Laguna Hills location is one of the worse locations; there is always a wait to get it, a long line at the counter to reload the card, tons of nonworking machines and pretty dirty floors and restrooms. But this location is closest to me, unfortunately, so I'm here the most. I will say that most staff here is pretty nice, especially to the kids. That makes up for a lot, but if I can choose I would go to the Foothill Ranch location instead. read more

The good: Their summer deal is fantastic. Our kids have enough play points to spend a couple of hours each day playing. The games work and they have tons of fun. The bad: This place is seriously understaffed for what they are trying to do. Their employees have to make the Chuck E Cheese character come out regularly, check stamps for everyone at the entrance/exit, run cashier, cook food, handle the ticket redemption, monitor the trampoline area, clean the bathroom, etc. And it's usually two people that I see doing it all. This means you could be waiting at the door a while or have to use a dirty bathroom. To be honest, I've seen people get tired of waiting at the door and either just walk in or walk out so it totally defeats the purpose of the stamps. read more

Both Laguna Niguel and foothill ranch are worth it! They each have different games for the kids to play. Laguna Niguel location has better prizes though. They have a thorough menu of food to choose to eat from pizza to chicken wings or salad bar. They have lots of fun snacks for kids like dip in dots, cotton candy, popcorn, nachos, pretzels. We have the monthly pass and it is so worth it. They also have a trampoline in there but it's an extra price. Once you join their online club you get coupons all the time for things like the trampoline or food discounts. Also with your membership for example we have the gold and we get 50 percent off all of our food which is an awesome discount. I highly recommend taking your kids!! read more

One was a stuffed animal someone left behind. at closing the girl working just told someone take it home. Second experience was personal we left behind two water bottles and an ice pack cooler. Came back the next morning and the girl working asked her manager. I overheard her say they probably threw it away but was told by the employee that they didn't pick anything up. Went here for the first time in about 20 years because we now have a 3 year old daughter and we wanted to introduce her to this place I used to go to a lot when I was younger. She saw the lights from the parking lots and automatically went crazy. We walked in and got our entrance stamp. The first thing I noticed was they took out the tube play area they had inside this place when I was younger. It was now all arcade machines. There was a $50 charge to get 40 games for $50, unlimited time for 2 months, so calculating it means $1 a game. We left after 20 minutes cuz the ambiance felt like the mall. No thanks. read more

Horrible service or should I say lack of service. I stood by the register and looked around the restaurant and didn't see any employees anywhere. Over half the games were broken or completely off. Always have a good experience here so can't speak to the negative ones. My boys go nuts playing all of the games. Best to go on a weeknight if you can. There's a coupon on their website which is helpful. When given the choice always opt for minutes instead of points when purchasing as you get the best deal. I am bummed that this place isn't what it use to be. For a personal pan pizza with pepperoni it is $16. Remember this includes no game play. The pizza is no bigger than my hand. They added a trampoline for another $10 on top on the $23 for 30 minutes of play. The games come out to being about $1 a play when you take into account that it makes you wait 10-15 seconds before you can rescan. And don't ask for a water cup because they don't give those out. You have to buy a soda The salad bar looked like it was two or three days old. When I asked for new lettuce they didn't have any available. I believe lettuce is suppose to be green not brown.. The worst moldy and musty smell ever that hits you like a ton of bricks when you walk in. Was told the carpet just got cleaned but they turn the AC off so it doesn't dry quickly enough. Chucky upgraded recently and it looks better than before. They also have new menu items so I try the new items one is the spicy meatballs for 14 bucks and it's about 1 inch each and come in a Hugh basket with 4 meatballs. I don't want to be too hard on this review because it is a Chuck E. Cheese; however, I will start by saying that the one in Foothill Ranch should be the standard- clean, fresh, new, perfect! This Chuck E. Cheese is old, the games are old and have malfunctioning issues, the building itself has a stench that I couldn't quite figure out what it was. It has a very dark, dungy vibe. It's not well lit like the foothill ranch one. The pizza was okay, not once again as good as the Foothill Ranch location. It wasn't usual thin crust, it had kind of a fluffy crust. The staff did try really hard. They were really nice and accommodating although they were short staffed. It lets your kid play games and get the experience, HOWEVER, I will say that next time we will drive to the other Chuck E. Cheese or see if our daughter is finally ready to handle the loudness at Dave and Busters! For the price, the drive is worth it going elsewhere- UNLESS this Chuck E. I'm going to start with the negatives.The woman who checked my kids arms for the code before we left was very rude and mean to my children.They lifted their arms, but the wrong ones because the ink is almost invisible.The woman said"Other arm!"
