    I miss all the animatronics!
    Tony J.

It was like a mini movie theater! Watch the video. They remodeled and took out all the animatronics, the Chuck E. Cheese, they also took out the ticket, win blower thing for birthdays. I believe it's a sign of the Times. Additionally, My daughter misses some of the vintage fun arcade stuff such as the horse that trots. And all the build build a bear mechanism, and items are gone. The only reason it didn't get five stars is because, they still have a solid bar however they didn't have an all you can eat pizza bar. And talking to some of the employees, they didn't have much to say when I asked them questions about if they're going to show movies or specials.

We went here on February 11th for our granddaughter's 5th birthday party. We were pleasantly surprised by how nice everything was. A birthday table was all ready when we got there with a sign, birthday crowns, and place settings and room for the gifts. The game area was clean and bright and the girls had so much fun! Grandma even had fun playing the games with them. We ordered pizzas for the party and they were good, the kids loved them. We brought in the birthday cake and the staff had cake plates and forks set up for our use. We plan to come back just for a fun family afternoon.

Both Laguna Niguel and foothill ranch are worth it! They each have different games for the kids to play. Laguna Niguel location has better prizes though. They have a thorough menu of food to choose to eat from pizza to chicken wings or salad bar. They have lots of fun snacks for kids like dip in dots, cotton candy, popcorn, nachos, pretzels. We have the monthly pass and it is so worth it. They also have a trampoline in there but it's an extra price. Once you join their online club you get coupons all the time for things like the trampoline or food discounts. Also with your membership for example we have the gold and we get 50 percent off all of our food which is an awesome discount. I highly recommend taking your kids!!

The kids were a little confused. Pizza was horrible

Pizza was paper thin and chuck E didn't engage with the kids at all. Very small location.

Staff: The were friendly enough. Quality/Quantity: The pizza is always good here but today was a bit overcooked. The size for a large pizza is on par with other places. Value: This is subjective as it depends on the individual. We got 2 cards for one hour of play, large pizza, and small drink for $98. Overall: Been coming here for over 10 years but somehow didn't provide a review until now. This place is clean, spacious, lots of good games, and no broken games.

Went here for the first time in about 20 years because we now have a 3 year old daughter and we wanted to introduce her to this place I used to go to a lot when I was younger. She saw the lights from the parking lots and automatically went crazy. We walked in and got our entrance stamp. The first thing I noticed was they took out the tube play area they had inside this place when I was younger. It was now all arcade machines. There was a $50 charge to get 40 games for $50, unlimited time for 2 months, so calculating it means $1 a game. We left after 20 minutes cuz the ambiance felt like the mall. No thanks.

They made 1/2 cheese and 1/2 veggies for us. So good!

Always have a good experience here so can't speak to the negative ones. My boys go nuts playing all of the games. Best to go on a weeknight if you can. A couple of the games need to be maintained but pretty good condition for the most part. Pizza was GREAT!! Young gals working the counters were very sweet. I should have gotten her name to give her credit. Overall, a fun experience!

Thirsty? This is what they provide for water cups.
    Katy C.

They do not provide free water. They offer salty food and a trampoline for kids to jump on. And no free water. Oh wait, I'm sorry. They DO provide water. But not CUPS for water. You must pay the $2.50 for a soda cup in order to get water. Or pay for a water bottle, also $2.50. This place needs new management. Very poorly run. We came here in 2023 and it was a much better experience. This manager offered us SAUCE CUPS for water. 1.5 oz. sauce cups. In the state of CA you must provide free water in restaurants. The manager claimed Chuck E. Cheese is a BAKERY because they make their own dough. Not a restaurant. We can all have a good laugh at that.

    Party time!

The wrist band given to each guest at every party. No coins and tickets necessary to hold!

Does this location still have the animatronics?

No. There is one car where you sit next to Chuck E. Cheese and get photo taken. And the Chuck E Cheese character comes out to dance regularly but there are no animatronics.

    Are masks being required again?👎

We visited Kid Can Do expecting a fun, engaging indoor play space for young children, but it felt more like a restrictive, adult-supervised activity zone than a true play area. The biggest issue was the inconsistency and lack of freedom for the kids. Plenty of cupboards, covers, and storage areas were unlocked and easily accessible, so naturally the children explored them. As soon as they pulled out toys or art supplies, staff quickly took them away because they "weren't part of this week's theme." If you're going to leave things unlocked and within reach, kids are going to play with them, that's completely normal and developmentally appropriate. Instead, we spent most of our time picking up after our child and saying "no" or redirecting them. If that's the kind of experience you're looking for, this is the spot for you. If you want a place where children can actually play freely without constant intervention, look elsewhere. It also didn't feel developmentally suitable for the younger ages they advertise for. The setup created more frustration than fun, with limited open-ended play opportunities. On top of that, the cost felt excessive for what's offered. For the price, I expected more space, better variety, and far less policing of normal kid behavior. You could re-create what they offer for a fraction of what you are paying to go here for 90 minutes and have better peace of mind doing it in your own home. Save your time and money. Head to Play Pie or the New Children's Museum down in San Diego instead--both are much better options for actual play and exploration. Unfortunately, this was a waste of an afternoon for us.

It's clear that a lot of thought went into creating an environment where kids can have fun while building valuable skills. My first recent try was to go the traditional route - heater, filter, bottles of water conditioner & beneficial bacteria, etc. etc. - when I unexpectedly happened upon an eye-opening You-Tube vid about the Walstad method (less homework & a more natural environment, the way God intended). So I returned all that other gear & am starting from scratch. Fernando eased My initial anxiety arriving as a total tank newbie, and gave Me a tour of the various low-maintenance plants I could start My nitrogen cycling with. Nolan - the Captain of this aquarium supplies ship - answered every one of My questions with patience & grace, did not talk down to Me or make Me feel stupid, and I left feeling happily hopeful that I might actually be successful in creating a fish-friendly safe & healthy environment. I came again today and brought a friend and she was also so happy we stayed there for like an hour just looking at everything. They have multiple rooms and a lot of tanks. The store seems small but it's not ; there's a lot of variety of fish, plants, and shrimp. Today there were red root floaters, one of the employees actually grew them - they were so healthy and super red I had to buy 3 cups !! I got more dwarf water lettuce bc my axolotl loved hanging in the roots. Staff today was super nice and helpful. There were 2 guys. It was extremely busy when I came like 10 people and they were helping everyone collaboratively. I hate when an employee only focuses on 1 customer who takes forever thinking and observing and there's a ton of ppl waiting. It wasn't like that here, the guy would answer a question and move on to another client. Also when the guy was fishing out some shrimp he was still talking to other customers and answering questions. I loved the vibe here. I will def be returning!!!!!
