Dear Customer Service, I am writing to report a poor experience at your salad bar today, April 26, at 8:00 pm. An employee refused to sell me a fruit salad because the station was closing in five minutes, while other staff observed without offering assistance. I waited there and it passed about 20 minutes. If I could give them -1 star I would I am disappointed by this lack of service and will be taking my business elsewhere. read more

The large pizza is about a medium size as compared to other establishments. It's paper thin which makes the crust hard when baked. The wings are soggy, not crunchy, lacking in flavor and given cold. No ice in the drink machines. The only experience here is for the kids to come and play. Food, not so much. read more

Overall I was very disappointed with this location because it lacked so much. When you enter they do not even stamp your hand and there is not organization. That is a red flag because what if someone takes a child that is not theirs with them. The gal who took my order was nice though and the food did come out in a timely manner. It was also shocking to see that there were 2 security guards inside Chuck E. Cheese that just says a lot. A lot of games did not work and the place just lacked ambiance. Ok... ok... ok. How do I even begin. . . As an avid Silver monthly Member for over a year we go once to 5 times a month if not a week depending on our child's behavior at school as a reward or is the weathers terrible but we need an outlet. We love going to the "pop-up" events they have and decided to try the Halloween trick o treat one tonight... if you weren't able to attend don't worry YOU DIDNT MISS ANYTHING! Let's begin: Service took forever- due to lack of staff The event was under whelming Overcrowded Not enough staff to upkeep the prize area, salad bar, drink areas, Not to mention 1/2 the restaurant tables were flipped to the side (used to state were closing these areas to keep them clean/ or from being used) The add stated every hour starting at 6 chuck e and his friend would be coming out and handing out candy and partying and taking pictures with the kids... yea we were there from 5-9 and he came out 1 maybe 2 times and my son got 1 piece of candy. We bought the buckets(which they didn't even have them prepared on the floor they had to walk to the very back to get them and then bring them out). But we thought for an event that is selling buckets the kids would be leaving with at least 1/4 maybe even 1/2 their buckets filled nope he got 1 piece of candy. Now Let's then talk about the members treats... we didn't get our "slime cookie" our dip n dots were not as pictured in the display. And rock hard (frost bitten) The staff were broken and looked like they were ready to cry. This was the worst I've ever seen this place in complete disarray. The floor manager I think his name was Ray or Raymond - when asked to step in and assist he said I had to wait for one of the girls to help me as it felt he was not to be bothered.... He went back to the kitchen and started joking with the cooks. Then come to find out at 7:45 the kitchen was announced closed- assuming the night chef was a no show or called out. Again short staffed. So let's wrap this up. Over all HUGELY DISAPPOINTED for the $40 spent for tonight's evening - The 2 hardest workers I saw tonight was Dayton cleaning everything he could keep up with and Sophia. Her first night closing from what I heard she rang people in took orders did tickets got people their dip n dots answered questions etc. Yall need to get Ashley in there more for these events seems like when ever we go and she's working the floors always look good and the staff is always happy. We love walking in and seeing her at the front we know it's a good day to come and play with her there. She truly shows her passion to make every kid feel special and have a good time. She always has a smile on her face even on the crazy chaotic days. Give that girl a raise or give that girl the night managers job because she would have done a better job tonight than he did. This is the second time I've been to this location for a cousin's birthday party. Two consecutive years in a row and it's the same song and dance at this location. For reference, I am not putting this on any of the workers that are there. I'm putting this negative review on the higher management and definitely corporate for allowing this Location specifically to fail with the amount of workers that they have at the establishment. It was packed today, and there was only one cashier working. One host for three different birthday parties that were going on at the time between five to 7:30 PM and kudos to him for doing the best that he could. But there needs to be more hiring done at that location. There were a couple incidents with children that got hurt while playing, and the manager had to prioritize the safety of those kids. Please, please, please do better corporate. It should not have to come down to the safety of children just to save a few dollars. read more

The key of having a good time is when you go right when they open. It's pretty empty M-F and the salad bar is fresh. I took my grandchildren here and the 6 year old lost his Play Pass game card. It was Papaw's (my) fault. I thought that was it. Lesson learned sort of thing. I asked an employee if someone turned it in (I know, don't laugh!). And she said, "no, do you have your receipt?" I showed her my receipt and she took it and showed it to the manager. The manager went ahead and gave me a new Play Pass! I was actually amazed. And for now on, I will hold onto it. The pizza has drastically improved since I went here with my kids when they were little. I recommend this establishment to bring your kids to. read more

Came here to celebrate my daughter's graduation. Arrived before opening and was one of the first to order. Spent almost two hours waiting for our pizza. While waiting we noticed a crowd forming at the line and came to realize the WHOLE place did not have pizza. No pizzas ever came out since it opened and the cashier just kept taking orders. After voicing this to the cashier she went around looking for im going to assume was the cook. Took another hr until our pizza came out and the pizza was not worth the wait. Tasted bland. NEVER EVER coming to this location again. Didn't offer anything for our horrible experience. read more

I was dissapointed. Maybe my expectations were to high after seeing it got remodeled. From the time you go in, you can smell the old carpet. I waited around 40 minutes for food and when i went to ask the girl working the kitchen. She seemed very bothered. The pizza was thin crust. Was overcooked with burnt areas. French fries not worth it at all. Burnt and no flavor. I got lemon pepper wings and tasted like regular wings no flavor. My celery sticks had a very small mosquito and of course my kids got grosssed out to eat them. Overall prices too high for food quality. In my opinion your better off buying frozen pizza. Taste way better. Games are ok not too many. If you looking for arcades near by. Its ok. I wouldnt come back here. If i do, not for food. Food not worth price. I would prefer Johns incredible pizza. Ehh...So we pay for the Silver pass which is 12$ a month for daily passes basically. As you see in the photo we have all the bells and whistles. We came around 1pm and it was maybe 12 people in the whole establishment. As any 2 year old frequent visitor would my niece put her trampoline socks on and went to play. She was the only baby besides two older girls in there, we never had this issue in Los Angeles but today (our first time here since relocating to the area) two separate men came and said she couldn't jump...one even suggested I go in the jumper and case a two year old around (uhh no lol it's not even that serious). Granted it's the company fault as it should be super discounted if you are a pass holder BUT they were just being too picky. The place was already empty and the girls were playing so nicely. 4 grown men just walking around bored. Hopefully there is a less uptight location we can try out, if not the 12$/month pass and 12$ for the trampoline every visit plus food cost just isn't worth it. Sidenote lol: Some of the games took our tokens but didn't play the games, the seats were dirty AND MOST IMPORTANTLY we were there over two hours and Chuck E. never came out! While the pizza and salad were good, there is much wrong with the Lancaster CA location. Most importantly I observed 6 couples leaving the establishment without being checked out with their children. 2 were single men taking out children. They had no ice so we were expected to drink warm soda. If the machine was broken or they ran out there is a convenance store across the street to buy ice. Lastly , the clerk sold part of our party socks for 18.00. the socks were too small for one child and they would not refund our money. We were told we could give them back but not get a refund. read more

I grew up coming to Chuck E. Cheese and I'm very disappointed on how downhill these places have gone. I know times change but that's not the point. Upon arrival, idk who this guy was that was up at the front but he didn't even greet us at all, and when I was trying to figure out what to purchase whether to go for a timely rate or by points. I was needing help and this guy didn't even bother to explain anything at all. Terrible service. Not to mention, he seems like he hates his job, so maybe consider go elsewhere and not treat customers poorly just cuz you're unhappy. The games suck. There was a sad trampoline area that was open for about 20 min in and next thing you know it's closed. We had 3 toddlers with us and even our kiddos were not impressed. No fun play areas for the kiddos to run around at. We didn't bother to order food. They should consider bringing back the old classic games. Seemed like just another plain, boring arcade. I took my son for his kinder graduation. The place was not full, we placed our order and got some game time for my son. BUTTTT when we were going to pay the cashier advised us it would take 2 & 1/2 hours to get our food . We decided to just have our San play his our and go eat elsewhere. 3 stars because the location was clean and all of the machines were working. Parking is easy since they have a large parking lot. This is ridiculous. Me and my kids went there to have fun. I ordered fries and pizza. I asked them to replace the fries, they said "ok". I thought they're going to do it right away since it' was only a plate of fries (a very small serving, regular paper plate size) Then i was waiting there for another 15-20mins just to replace it and it was so upsetting. I went back to their kitchen and i asked the guy how long it'll gonna take for them to replace the burned fries and he said he's gonna get it. It was more like "musty cheeses" because the inside smelled sour, like sweaty feet. I didnt really have any interaction with the staff so I cant rate them. The place was decently clean, nothing to really complain about in regards to the how clean and kept the place is. I heard complaints about the food from others while in there. Mostly complaints I heard was about the food being cold, the salad bar being a mess, and the food at the salad bar was indeed a mess when I went to go look. In fact, some of the lettuce looked brown or wilted. Caught kids playing with the spoons in the sauce as well with no one telling them to stop. They have decent games but some of them didnt work correctly. The shooting games would not register where you were pointing the gun so me and my daughter lost every time. They only had a few games and not many good ones. What I found idiotic was they have only ONE air hockey table which doesnt make any sense. My daughter had to wait an hour just to play. They have all that space and cant put another air hockey table? It became an inconvenience because there were some serious game hogs hogging the air hockey table. Instead, they place one air hockey table and several coin operated rides converted to take the token cards. What a waste of space. After about an hour and thirty my daughter began getting bored. They seriously need more entertainment for the kids and better games. Why wasted an entire space for one air hockey game and a few ride on machines? I will say one good thing though. Their machines didnt take a lot of credits to play. Before we left our card still had like 30 credits left, more than enough for just about everything in there. So, I figured that since they dont have many games they dont charge much to play. Probably wont be back. Not enough for what you pay and way to many bad kids and single moms yelling profanity at them while other kids are near. Don't know where to start. From the moment we got there till the moment they closed, it was complete chaos. We arrived at 6:30 and left at 9. All our food was late, missing, incomplete and cold. The bar was half empty. There no napkins, we searched 5 tables down and still no napkins! The poor guy upfront was being the cashier, the security, the salad attendant, the ticket attendant, everything. There was only one more person who was going crazy trying her best to put out orders and could never keep up. There were so many ppl that were also waiting on their food. We felt so bad we wanted to help these poor guys! Why? Why is this this place so understaffed! Everytime we come it's the same story. So sad, I had so many good memories of chuck e cheese growing up. Manager approached me with a bad attitude and states a parent complained that I took their child's tickets, and that she reviewed the camera footage to confirm. I replied she was wrong, I absolutely did not take any child's tickets, all tickets I had I won for my son. She repeated she saw the footage, and I again repeated I absolutely did not take any tickets from any machine that I did not win myself. She scoffs and walks away. The staff at the counter was briefed by the manager, and indicates he is not taking sides and will assist me with providing the prizes for my son. I ask to see the footage, and the staff indicates it isn't footage, they are still shots and can no longer rewind the footage. I ask to see the manager as this is a very problematic accusation, and the staff states that she is no longer available. After I left, I simply could not forget about the experience. I work with kids, and such an accusation deeply disturbed me and was simply not at peace. I email corporate about my experience in detail, which I still consider posting my email correspondence on Yelp. They took a few days, and replied the apologized and would be sending some kind of Play Pass. I explained the pass itself did not matter, what mattered to me is that such an accusation was made, in front of my three year old son. What if my son was five years old? What if he was ten years old? What if he could understand the accusation, so carelessly made against his father? How would he feel about his father, what would he think of me? A thief who steals from children? I strongly requested Chuck E. Cheese create and adopt a policy that deals with such accusations in an appropriate manner, which resembling a legal system with some characteristic of ethics, considers such an accusation guilty until proven innocent, and provides the actual evidence with an opportunity to prove innocence. I would believe such a policy, would of course, also call for some privacy, as such a grave error should never be made in front of your children. My strong request for a policy was ignored, my other request to view said footage or still shots were declined, as they indicated that it came from a parent's mobile phone, which was not available, which began to infuriate me. Someone was lying for the purpose of obtaining free tickets, and Management lacked tact and common sense to handle the situation appropriately. Although Chuck E. Cheese sent me an apology along with a Play Pass, I am not able to ignore the experience I had, nor am I able in good conscious, to take my son back to this location. Two weeks ago I was there celebrating my grandsons birthday ... the party was ok package was very expensive plus the host forgot a few of items kids were suppose to get ( including gift cups , 100 bonus tickets ) parents shouldn't have to remember everything that is the hostess job. The party seemed kinda rushed and the whole experience of Chucky meeting the kids and dance is robbed from them it's a robot on stage and the Chucky group on the television . They have a person dressed up but no excited from them when they approach the kids . The part that was good for the kids was unlimited play for 2 hours ... A few negatives were the food way too pricey , never saw an employee wipe or sanitizes games or the salad bar.. the only staff that was approachable was the manager and the hostess... I think they need to make this place more affordable and do better with keeping up on sanitizing ... I will not be visiting or having parties anymore ... I had fun but it's way too expensive ...think about it before u decide to waste your money Vince's lost their touch now Chucky cheese and the ultimate package is over 433.00 after 13 kids crazy expensive cheaper to do a party at home . read more
