I had my son's 5th birthday at Playmazing yesterday. It was $400 for 1-4pm. Two hours of play and one hour in the "party room". It was fine, just expensive. There are a lot of rules like no music even though it's a private room and they charge for every little thing. Even using a plastic cake cutter would cost $4. The party room is drab. It definitely looks like a warehouse, no fun colors or images at all. I would suggest you bring a lot of decorations so the room can look full and party like for your experience if you're party is held in the bigger room. I would definitely recommend it but ideally it'd be one hour of play, then the party room, & then another hour of play because after the party, the kids wanted to go back and play and were really disappointed it was all over. read more

Very disappointed with my experience at Playmazing. The staff (Nayeli & Elizabeth) was extremely rude and spoke to me in a disrespectful and condescending manner, as if I was stupid. The owner of play amazing is price gouging so my recommendation is no do not have your child's party here. Number one you only have 20 minutes to decorate and your clean up time is included in the price that you booked. We booked my grandchild's birthday party here my daughter-in-law paid $400 be mindful you have only 20 minutes to decorate when it's time to clean up you have to use that time that you were giving so if you booked 1 to 4 pm, you only have a small window to clean up and if not you will be charged $1 a minute. I don't care if it's in the policy this is price gouging owner get it together and rethink your policy or you will be losing customers! I brought my two kids today after some other inconveniences with the staff, and they took 4 minutes to register them. at the time of registration it was 3:04. they told me my kids would be out at 5:34 but as soon as it was 5:30 they started kicking us out... my youngest daughter needed to use the restroom and they didn't let her. They said "she can go outside" and when we were outside I realized there was no other restroom. If you can avoid taking your children here, do it. crazy high prices for a bad experience. read more

Reading the comments had me scared. But I went ahead and did the private event. The people who work there are sooooooooo nice. They let me do a payment plan as long as it was paid off 3 days before the party! All the kids had an amazing time! Every kid was crying when it was time to leave lol the place is nice and clean. And the workers really just minded their business and let me and my family enjoy my babies first birthday. The pizza was good. The space is nice and big. I'm happy I did this for my babies first birthday. Please ignore the bad comments because I had no problems. A little hiccups but no problems. I'll def be bringing my baby there for free time play. I took my son here for the first time on Sat. Dec 6 to pregame for his upcoming bday. By Monday he was covered in bumps and blisters showing symptoms of hand foot mouth disease. If you know then you know it's very contagious. I called the facility to inform them and complain. The person I spoke with said they wipe down and clean every 75 mins. That may be policy but that is definitely not being followed. I didn't see anyone cleaning or wiping anything down while I was there and it was full of kids. Don't go here unless you want your kid to get sick. I'm beyond pissed. read more

The only clean thing to do with littles in the av. I have been here a few times with my kid and they don't seem to get tired of it. They have rules but I am more then sure the way the people in the av are it's warranted. The bathrooms are really clean for a kids facility there's been a few times there was a time when there was an issue with the bathroom but when I told staff they fixed it right away. For being a play ground full of children of all ages and attentive and non attentive parents the bathrooms well the facility as a whole is really clean. I know the staff try's hard to keep the place clean. read more

While Playmazing has a fun and safe playground that our kids enjoy, I would like to give 5 stars for that reason, but our recent visit was soured by a series of frustrating policies and interactions. First, we arrived at 10 am, excited to get started. Since we were early and among the first families there (there were only three families total), our kids began playing in other areas while waiting for the bouncy house, which wasn't open until 11 am. Unfortunately, the bouncy house tickets we'd purchased slipped out of my pocket during that time. When I noticed they were missing and asked for help right at 11 am, I was told there was no way to replace them. They even have a policy to reissue tickets, at $1 a ticket, but only for a minimum of $3--even though we only needed 2 tickets! It felt absurd, especially since we hadn't been able to use them due to the bouncy house being closed until 11 am. On top of that, the no outside food policy is incredibly rigid and not family-friendly. Despite the signs, we had brought organic snacks to support our family's dietary needs, including mine as a pregnant woman who eats healthily for specific reasons. However, an employee saw us and snobbishly insisted that we put our snacks away or, shockingly, leave the building to eat in our car. When I explained that our family has a specific diet, they couldn't have been less understanding. They offer almost nothing that accommodates dietary restrictions or healthy choices-just the usual Cheetos, candy bars, soda, and some juice. If they want to enforce such a strict policy, they should at least offer options beyond processed snacks and sugary drinks. Even worse, when you're forced outside, you have to give up your seating, which fills up quickly. As a pregnant woman, I needed a place to sit and eat, not to be "banished" for simply trying to feed my family in line with our dietary needs. I'd like to speak to corporate about reconsidering this policy; it doesn't benefit families and feels like a punitive rule for no clear reason. The facility itself is a fun, engaging place with lots of exciting things for kids to do, which is why we return. But these policies and the treatment we experienced could be improved to make it a more welcoming space for all families. read more

If I could give this place 0 stars I would, but this may be the only way I can speak to the owner about her employees' terrible attitude. This used to be a frequent place for my kid. I have always followed all their rules, as dumb as some of them may be, and been nothing but nice and respectful to their staff. I've never yelled, complained, cursed at, or said anything negative to any of the employees. However, I have been banned because I stood up for myself when they called me rude. I asked them for examples and the only one they could come up with is that I supposedly "throw" the name paper at them. I have never done that, and despite one particular employee giving me attitude I have never responded in kind. When they confronted me about it, it was hostile and rude and disrespectful. I have never met such disrespectful people in my life. They claim they have video evidence, which I'm still waiting on. I've never intentionally been rude and this is how they chose to bring up their concerns instead of having a small conversation. I would have apologized for the misunderstanding and that i have an eye condition where I can't see peripherally. Other than that, I would love to take accountability for any other wrongdoing but I can't think of a single time I wasn't upbeat and appreciative. I am appalled by their rude behavior and after spending so much money here they will not get another penny. Owner, do better training your employees. Obviously I am not the only person that has complained about your staff. read more

We celebrated my littles one's birthday here. I'm not sure what I was expecting but they far exceeded my expectations! Every time I called to get info or details they were so helpful and accommodating. Every time I spoke to a staff member they were friendly and helpful which is not common now a days! The day of the private party I was running behind and the staff came in asking if they can help set up. I was so thankful that they did and everything turned out great! Everyone commented on what a great party it was and what a great location it was for the kids and adults. We all had so much fun. They even let us bring in a character for the littles ones. I wish I could love this place. 1) The staff here have an attitude problem. And from seeing a previous review about this, I cannot say I'm surprised. I have the monthly pass and after I gave them my son's name they did what they had to do in their system and proceeded to charge me $18. I then told them that I had the monthly pass and the lady very rudely stated "well next time you have to tell us because we don't know". I then asked if their system populated that information automatically but they said no. I guess their system doesn't do that. Tip: start asking parents if they have a monthly pass from the very beginning. It'll make the process easier for both parties. 2) After trying out their monthly pass for a few months I decided to cancel because I don't come often enough. When I let the female employee know that I wanted to cancel she just said "ok, I can go ahead and cancel but we cannot guarantee that you won't be charged". Like, are you kidding? That is why I am cancelling ahead of time. She was just rude about it. I also expected her to ask me why I was cancelling and if there was anything they could do to keep me from cancelling (like any good business you want to try to keep memberships right?). Anyway, nothing. Once again, met with just attitude. 3) I understand that outside food and drinks are not allowed. However this place mostly offers candy and chips. My son doesn't eat any of that. He barely has any teeth. So it sucks when you can't even give your baby a yogurt without one of these women calling you out. Please offer better and healthier options for those who do not consume your current selection (I.e. apples, bananas, oranges, yogurt, etc.) Overall, I would recommend this place but the staffing needs better interpersonal skills. Better and friendlier service goes a VERY long way. Needless to say I will not be returning for the foreseeable future. I hope that if and when I do come back, the staff is friendly, welcoming and respectful. read more

Best place to hang out in the AV if you have kiddos! I love this family-owned business so much because they actually care about their business and their customers. They keep the place so clean and the staff is so helpful. I have a younger daughter and an older son. They have something for both of them. We loved it so much here that my daughter asked to have her birthday party here. She loved it! With the extreme weather here, it's really hard to find local places to take the kids. I REALLY wanted to give more stars but the heat is unbearable in there. It's crazy to me that being in the AV and our summers along with it being a play place they have NO AC. I asked and they said since it's a warehouse they only have swamp coolers. I noticed the back door was cracked open to let the vent for the swamp cooler get air. It was HOT. The temp inside was 80 degrees according to the machine and a clock by the bounce house. Kids were drenched like they just got wet. You're only bet is if you get a seat right under a fan.. still doesn't help if you're running around playing though. Cleanliness was great and prices are about the same as every other indoor play place. Activities were fun and snacks reasonably priced. Will not be back though, we paid for 2.5 hours and left with an hour left because we couldn't take the heat. Playmazing PLEASE consider getting an AC unit! read more

Been here a few times and decided on booking a private party. Best choice ever. Great service all around. I literally felt like I was a celebrity to them w the way they treated me and my party. I booked private cause I thought the party room was small and it's really not! It's a very big spacious room. Love the set up. I want to like this place but the staff make it a terrible experience. They are very rude and unfriendly. For example, my 2 year old daughter had ripped her ticket on accident for the bounce house and they refused to take it or replace without paying for a new one. The place was not busy and it was obvious we hadn't used it yet. At one point my 2 yo daughter also took her socks off and they were so rude to me about it. They also have a terrible food and drink policy. I was prepared to buy snacks and drinks for the kids, but they wouldn't allow me to sit at the table with my coffee I had just purchased on my way there, saying it was dangerous. The kids do enjoy the experience, but for the parents they do everything in their power to make it unpleasant. I will not be back due to the staff and unreasonable policies. read more

I took my daughter for the first time it was fun until a lady yelled at my child. My daughter and I were at a slide that you need a tube to go down in. There was a little girl waiting patiently for my daughter to finish using the tube, The lady's son came and grabbed the tube from my daughter while my daughter was taking the tube to a little girl who was waiting in line for my daughter to finish with the tube. I was standing at the top of the slide waiting for my daughter to come back up my daughter came up the slide crying to me that the lady yell at her saying it is her sons turn but her son ran up and cut the little girl and grabbed the tube from my daughters hands. The manager and her employees were just talking and not working they were not watching over the place making sure everybody is sharing. The manager is very unprofessional. I do not recommend this place. There are way better indoor play places. I would never go back there. read more

Playmazing is a fun and safe place for kids! I usually go straight for the toddler/baby section. It is soft blocks, magnets with a huge white board, stools for kids and adults, a giant piano you can play with your feet, and a bead sorter. My daughter loves this area but she also likes to explore the rest of the place. She likes where they have the bounce houses a lot. They have 2 different kinds of bounce houses. One for 5 and under and one for 5 years and older. The place is really clean and they constantly clean it. Best place for kids in the AV! read more

Today is my first time here, and I'm impressed! My 4-yo daughter seems impressed, too. The site is conveniently (centrally) located in the Antelope Valley. At check-in, the process was easy and the ladies that helped me were friendly. The price is good: I think $15/kid for 2.5 hours ($10 if arriving before 11 a.m. at least on the weekday). The facility is clean and appears well maintained. The play elements are awesome and varied. They also appear very safe, which gives me the peace of mind to daze out or make a phone call, without worrying my kid will fall or if she'll wander away. (Of course, we should still keep an eye on our kids!) The temperature is cool and pleasant (great on 102-degree days like today!). Parent seating is in good supply (this is Thursday at noon -- not sure how the weekends are). The bounce structure is fun-looking, although each kid can only enjoy it once for 10 minutes. Would be nice to have two 10-minute sessions instead. Otherwise, I'm pleased with everything: the equipment, the music, the vibe, the cleanliness, and the friendliness. First timers. We had a blast and even bought a 10 pack! There are so many play nooks (some he will grow into) that our 3 year old Jackson Asher was just playing and playing non-stop for the 3 hours. Structures are clean, the bathrooms are clean, the party area was clean. Music is upbeat. It might be nice to play less Top 40 and more kiddie songs for a half hour here and there. The tube slide was a favorite but if your kiddo is on the young side, you will need to haul it to the top. (I am healing from a shoulder injury so it was a little rough for me.) Josh, the guy working at the top made it fun for my son and was nice to chat with. Jackson isn't quite ready to be 100% on his own so I was climbing with him a lot. It was really warm at the top in the back and when I mentioned it to a staff member she was responsive and put the air conditioning on. We look forward to introducing our friends to the place. There seem to be a lot of parties so make sure you call in advance before you get your kiddo excited to go. (I see the owner is active here so I wanted to note that the two metal waiver stands could use some padding bc in his excitement while I was filling out the form, my son clonked his head. He's fine.
