The worst overall experience, the employees were very rude, parties are too expensive, employees dressed as the mouse had no personality, the kids didn't even enjoy it. they went off to play. older gentleman didn't explain in full detail about the cards and how soon your time started. they just sat my pizza out in the open so anyone could come by and grab it. just ridiculous!!!! this location should be shut down and revamped. So I don't like coming to this place either... but let's evaluate it for what it actually is. Kids have fun and that's kind of the entire point. They don't care that the prizes are cheap crap or that the 16 year old hostess seemed disinterested. We come here occasionally. It's best to come early because it can get crowded. The kids enjoy the games and it gets them off of the devices for a few hours. The location is clean-ish, for a place that's a cesspool of kid germs. And the pizza is actually pretty decent. They even have some games that adults can enjoy too. I wouldn't say that I "recommend" someone come here per se, but if you have to, it's not that bad. read more

Chuck E Cheese is an American institution, a monument constructed to pay homage to childhood fun and delicious pizza. Growing up, I was not allowed to go to Chuck E Cheese, so when I had kids of my own, I finally discovered this cathedral to the gods of play. I have been to this location at least 50 times over the past decade, and have hosted parties for the kids, attended parties for other kids, and gone just for fun. Although it is as fun as ever, tokens are now gone and replaced with cards. You can buy "tokens" on the cards or can pay for unlimited play for a defined period. The unlimited play is the way to go. With games for all ages, this place is family fun for everyone. The staff goes out of their way to make sure everyone has a great time. As a world traveler, I can tell you that the best pizza I have ever had was while at a table overlooking the Med in Valletta Malta. The second best pizza I have ever had was in NYC, and the third best pizza I have ever ever had was at Chuck E Cheese. Bellisimo! If you are there, try to see if you can beat my record at Street Hoops. It's unlikely, but it will give you something to shoot for (no pun intended). read more

I get it Chuck E Cheese, you nailed the mind numbing, brainwashed children, sub par food, first job as a teenager market, bravo, something to be proud of. As I'm sure you are profitable, I just can't see me latching onto your bandwagon even with my 10 month old quickly approaching the days of skeeball and spending tons of cash for very little tickets and then trading them in for $1-$10 toys. Let me divulge. So we went there on a Saturday for a 2hr birthday party which included snacks, pizza, wings, sandwiches, soda, and tokens. I will try not to get into too many details but a couple low lights are the following. The food really isn't that god. The pizza is plain, flavorless, and overpriced. I know you need to cater to mostly children but save something for the parents to enjoy besides the smile on our kids faces. Wings are tiny, I mean choking hazard tiny. Although the sauced ones I tried had good flavor, I would just need to eat a whole $25 platter to get full. Ice cream is that stuff that the elementary school lunch room serves. Guess it's safe for kids but the wife and I are determined that it got our 10 month old sick only 5-10 minutes after having a couple tiny spoonfuls. 2 drink minimum beers and wine, enough said. I don't want to get drunk but something needs to help me get past the $250-$350 sticker price I'm going to see after tip at the end of the night. 2 hours is really not enough time. I'm positive CEC does it only because they have people knocking down their doors to get in there for parties. We were there with 4-5 kids and were still opening presents at 2pm, had the parents and another kid helping with the opening of the presents just to make the deadline. Not a way a 3 yr old should enjoy gifts. CES tries to stuff too much activity in those 2 hours for anyone really to enjoy. Our birthday girl seemed overwhelmed at times and definitely confused. Poor kid. Maybe turning up the volume so everyone can hear the instructions or here's a thought, take some of the massive profits and upgrade to 46'+ LCD TV's. So I guess I'm the 10% of the market that CES still has yet to tap into for which I say NO WAY!! My daughter worked in Mayfield Hts, Oh 44124 (golden gate plaza). My daughter has been working for the company since February 2017 and she has never had any problems. Valerie Hurley became the manager at this location recently and she has harassed my daughter on numerous of occasions. My daughter has come home and complained about Ms. Hurley so many times saying she wouldn't ever speak to her. My daughter has also made statements about her register coming up short only when Valerie worked with her. Valerie takes her register and go in the back to count my daughter isn't around at this time she send her off to do other things. She then come out yelling at my daughter saying you are always short. Today my daughter went in to work and she needed Valerie to assist her with clocking for whatever reason. My daughter stood next to Valerie and Valerie lightly touched my daughter armed and started to yell and state why are you right here. My daughter said you don't have to speak to me like that. Let's keep in mind that customers were standing here and witness this taking place. My daughter went into the back and Valerie followed and was yelling and stating that she can say whatever she wants to her. Valerie was not aware that I was on the phone and turning back around to come to my daughter. My daughter again is 17 she is begging me to hurry up and get to her, as a mom do you know how I was in a panic my daughter should be safe at work and not being physically and verbally abused while in the work place. When I walked in I witness my daughter crying non stop by the door and Valerie yelling to the top of her lungs while doing some ignorant dance " I can say what I want to say to you" and laughing. How immature of her I said to Valerie please get me another manager because you will not do this with my daughter. I then directed my daughter to get all of her things because she cant work here anymore. As I am waiting for the other managers to come out Valerie is still speaking badly about my daughter as she ring out customers. Ron one of the other managers came out to speak with me and he was very nice and professional and asked for us to step away from customers. He was very soft spoken and apologizing about it all. Ron went in the back to get the other manager Don and he came out and asked what was going on, Valerie starts to get very loud again and he had to walk away and speak to me directly. While speaking with him Valerie starts to speak to another cashier Alexa about my daughter and she is a minor as well she even knew it was wrong and didn't engage in the conversation. The young lady walked away from her as if she doesn't want any parts. I have been told by a few of the workers that this lady has often done this to varies workers. My daughter doesn't have to deal with stuff like this. this world is evil enough and these kids endure a lot at school, home etc. So I hope something will be done about this situation I have also been in contact with the police department as well. Valerie Hurley you make it hard on mother's like me I try to teach my kids to be respectful to adults, go to work and do the right thing and you are way older maybe 50's you look like. You have showed these young teenagers it's ok to act this way in the work place. I have left messages for upper management to call me. I will also contact labor relations as well. I wrote a google review and the next one will be in contact with the BBB to let them know. I will also write to the city of South Euclid/Lyndhurst and let them know as well so they won't recommend for the children to apply at this location anymore. First time back in many years, but since Boneyard closed we re-tried it. They upgraded to "swipe cards" instead of tokens but still spits out tickets - no longer .25 each game, now they vary. Was going to get the buffet but that consisted of a bowl of lettuce (bagged with precut veg), 2 or 3 pizzas and a cinnamon pizza as dessert - not appetizing at all in appearance and nothing like the ads stating buffet spread. this location is vastly understaffed. we had 26 kids and one barely present, bored-to-death "hostess"... we ended up serving the pizza and drinks ourselves. she cut the cake but it took a long time for the cake to come out and even longer for her to cut it, so we served it too. the person in the chuck e costume just radiates hatred for his/her job (this has been the case every time we've come here). i mean barely moves. throws up a thumbs up every now and then. they set our tables on dirty tablecloths with hunks of cake and spilled juice on them. i wiped the booths myself so people would have a clean place to sit. the party manager tried to "help" and seemed friendly but spent most of her time explaining away her mistakes and then told me they were trying to work on it and asked me for a good rating on the postparty survey. when it came time to check out there was one person behind the desk and about 2 dozen people waiting to get prizes. again, understaffed, and the staff there don't seem to think the guests waiting for anything is a problem. i paid over $400 for this birthday party and had to run it myself, basically. the 2 rating is simply because kids love chuck e cheese. but as a parent i will definitely not go to this location again because management is trying to run it as cheaply as possible by understaffing with people who can't be bothered to show an ounce of enthusiasm at a 5 year old's birthday party, much less actually get the crap i paid for to the table at a reasonable time or to clean said table. read more
